I’ve come to the realization that although I find colorful pallets to be so beautiful….i want to look at them, swatch them, admire them, I’m just not a colorful pallet wearer. I am a neutral wearer. I have narrowed my pallet collection considerably since having this realization and I no longer spend money on eyeshadow. Thanks for letting me live vicariously because I love seeing them all!
Morgan I adore you. Don't be afraid to let these videos be 3 hours or more thougg. People love eyeshadow pallets. I guarantee mext year if you show each one full frame and show them longer with a crazy long video, that video will hit hundreds of thousands of views. ❤❤

I love declutters. They are basically mini-reviews where you touch on different things -shades, price etc, and I love seeing what you think is worth keeping.
Hi Morgan, I love your enthusiasm for makeup! Offering a suggestion, if it doesn't resonate no worries: for all the palettes you are keeping for comparison & for the sake of your job, but you don't really like, what if you put them in a separate area for the coming year. Then when it's time for the 2024 declutter, you will know if you even pulled them out for your videos or if they can officially go. It might be a nice place to start decluttering next year as well.
Not everyone can pull off a great declutter, this one was awesome. It appears that you are very in tune to your makeup collection and with us, your subscribers. Thank you for your hard work everyday and have a happy holiday season. 🎉
The best declutter I've seen so far for me, personally. No long explanations about each palette, no deep dives into the brands - just either you like it or you don't, that's what I'm here for. So glad you mentioned display makeup for your future beauty room. I too am purchasing makeup to display for my future beauty room, so it was cool to know i'm not the only one who does that 😄

I too still have my ABH x Mario palette. I used it about a year ago and it was still good. I do have a lot of eyeshadow palettes but prob will never declutter it. Even though you can’t get some palettes anymore it’s still fun to see updated looks with some of them. Not everybody is buying every new palette that comes out or keeping up with a brand. Most people still like to use what they have as we all know a lot of these palettes aren’t cheap and can be an investment for some. A good throw back makeup video from time to time would be cool I think. IMO
I watched all three and decluttered my own collection. I appreciate you being real with yourself and telling yourself that you can’t let go of some things but given the proper reasoning, you can get rid of things that aren’t relevant. I have to say though: you put me on to some new palettes I’ve never heard of or seen, so I purchased a lot from Mercari and Poshmark so I wasn’t paying full price. I probably got rid of more things that was old and not necessary and replaced them (not all) with new fresh items that I’m looking forward to trying out.

Genuinely curious, if you love a palette, but it's no longer available, why do you get rid of it? Don't you keep any just for your personal use or is your collection strictly for filming? It just makes me sad to think you don't just enjoy your makeup for yourself. But I could be wrong, maybe it doesn't matter, but there were a couple that you said you loved but got rid of it because you can't buy it anymore. That would be my number 1 reason to not get rid of it!!! The resell prices of discontinued palettes is sick, I don't want to pay for it if I get remorse for tossing it!
I always wondered the same thing. It seems as if all these products are strictly for filming and not for enjoyment. If something was limited edition or discontinued, I’d never get rid of it for that reason alone just for memories.

It go back to business, Influencer have code and links if her fan can’t get it she can’t make money. Can’t promote a products that isn’t available to purchase. Some people keep it for memories and some take time to let it go

I found the bridgerton blush box at TJ Maxx and I have it for display on my dresser! It's gorgeous! I disinfected the blushes with some rubbing alcohol. They are a really nice formula
I got really into Tom ford this year because they had some bangers! I loved forbidden pink, tropical dusk and soleil neige d’hiver. I would love to see some more Tom ford content 😊

I own two pallets and they are identical, KVD shade light. They’re old but that’s the colors I like to blend on me.

Never letting go of my BH Cosmetics palettes! I got lucky and bought a new Naughty palette on Mercari so definitely don’t plan on getting rid of that. Only downside of owning so many palettes is you don’t get to enjoy them like you should. 🥴

Angelica Nyqvist has a three part series where she swatches every single Clionadh shade. It’s a great resource tbh. I’ve watched them a few times to decide what to buy both for myself and as a gift. Badtothebrow and seekingshifts are also both great resources for Clionadh. Highly recommend, btw. My Clionadh shadows are my favorite thing in my collection.

Amazing how many companies make a neon orange and green. With the exception of Halloween I wouldn't use them. Maybe it's to catch the eye😂😂💚❤

I was so sad to see you get rid of BH Cosmetics Naughty palette. It's such a great palette, and even though you can't get it anymore I would still hold onto it for nostaligic purposes. That's what I do, I've got almost all of BH cosmetics and I can't let them go. I still have the very old Too Faced 15 Anniversary palette! Can't get rid of it, even though I don't use it. You should keep a drawer just for your nostalgic palettes! I really wish BH would make a comeback, so sad to see them fall.
I think it's best not to save them with as many as she has.

I have 3 norvina palettes and almost never use them. Abh has so much fallout.
@@anh7807 oh, that's so unusual. I love mine particularly because they don't have any fallout 😅 (and are very pigmented and easy to blend).
@@alexlyubenov5690 I used to collect them. I have soooo many. I just realized that with indie I could get the pigment without the powdery matte shades and messy shimmers.

Seriously wish the skincare and makeup companies would provide recycling for the TONS of discarded products so many influencers have to trash. The amount in landfills must be horrendous.

Love your videos...they are so helpful d I love your personality! I want to order one or two mini palettes for travel. Do you like PM's mini eye shadow palette in Sublime Smoke or ABH "s Sultry mini? Are they about the same size? Also thinking of getting the ND Bibi Mini. For reference, I have a ton of Mothership palettes and lately have been using ND I Need a Nude mostly. I started watching your channel this year and had no idea you studied education!
You did so much better than me and I i only have a fraction of your makeup. Which of course make sense because it is your job and not personal use. But it is ao hard for me to throw makeup away. If it is ols enough to smell old or lipstick taste old no problem. Other than that i struggle.
I have so many old palettes I don’t use but refuse to part with. They’re too old to be gifted to someone else, so I guess I’ll put them away in my little makeup archive drawer.
Huda has slashed the price of the Mercury Retrograde palette and its now sold out. I'm upset about this since I have hit pan on several of the shadows in that palette. Huda, if you are reading this ... please bring it back! It is so perfect!

You need to organise your pallets more .. try to change the drawers with deeper ones that let you put your pallets on lines
Morgan ,don't declutter the Florisis or any of those beautiful, decorative palates. You will be able to decorate with them in your new house.
