  • Easy way to cut window trim flashing. Lifting the ends 3/8 inch keeps the water from going behind the siding.

    Where to find this flashing in this size? Everything I see at the box stores for z bar flashing is either 5/8" offset (too small) then next size 1.25" for doors. I need something for 3/4" trim just like this.

    I don’t like that gap between the siding and flashing. Would it be acceptably to bend flashing sides down and around top edge of trim?

      hardie lap siding REQUIRES at least a 1/4" gap and preferable a 1/2" gap so water can drain properly
