I take it very personal and it inflates my ego when a mayfly chooses to come over and spend the night inside my house with me instead of going out to find a mate.

I used to hate these things when I lived in Ontario. They would cover everything and smell so bad. You'd just be stepping on them everywhere and hearing them crunch.

if she gestates her eggs, lays them and then they hatch isn't that "Oviparous" ? I thought "Ovoviviparous" is when they gestate and hatch inside the mother and then are birthed.

You would be correct about that, indeed. 😉 👍🏽 💯

That is the usual case indeed, but some aren't really like that. For example, zoologist called some species of chameleon "ovoviviparous", but in reality, they still lay "egg" that instantly hatches. The emphasis here being "instantly hatch". I thought i did say so in this video, but I apologize if i didn't.
Either way, for this video, I just said what was written in the publication that i referred, and the author indeed said "ovoviviparous" species.

Cool video, but is this A.I. created? 🤔 I'm so scarred (mentally) these days, from A.I. taking over everything, that I just can't tell anymore. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Sometimes it's obvious, sometimes it's not. I just thought the video title & thumbnail should, technically, say "What exactly is _a_ mayfly?" but they're both missing the 'a'… it may only be one letter, but it is a vital connecting word! 😂 Though I'm not sure if that's an A.I. glitch or whatnot.
To ask "What exactly is mayfly?" is either slightly 'broken' English, or it sounds as if you're asking about something that is named or called _Mayfly_ -like a movie, book, tv show, or a place, even (i.e. asking, "What exactly is _Mayfly_ ?"). But as this is inquiring about the mayfly species, you’d ask, "What exactly is a mayfly?"

I don’t think this is ai, especially judging by the final conclusion about enjoying life, however short. The creator’s bio says they’re located in Indonesia, so I think the poor grammar is just translation errors.

      It's not AI, don't worry.
I did the research (reading references i mean), script-writing, voice recording, and editing all by myself. No AI was used, since the whole point of this channel is like my personal vendetta against AI generated content.
The title is supposed to be like "What Exactly Is?: Mayfly".
"What Exactly Is?" is the series name.
"Mayfly" is the episode name, if that makes any sense.
I made it that way since the beginning because i kinda planned to do something else sometimes in the future.
It's not supposed to be read as a sentence, but i do get that it's annoying to read.
Thanks for the input, will try to make it better from now on.
