  • Christian Pfeil, a survivor of the Nazi terror, was born in January 1944 in Lubin, a Nazi concentration camp. His family endured persecution and deportation during World War II, with some members tragically murdered in Auschwitz.
Here, Christian Pfeil is interviewed by photo-journalist Bela Varadi in Berlin, right after his commemorative speech at the United Nations, where Pfeil represented the surviving Sinti and Roma community as part of the central ceremony of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day earlier this year.
This video is part of a multi-media article published on the Travellers' Times website.
