But yes, there's a huge contrast between people who don't do drag critiquing it, and actual drag queens not only giving critiques thqt they may have gone through, but also still entertain, you know....like Drag Queens do 😆. Nina's Rawviews are fun too oop.
@@zarrenernest1821 I strongly disagree, especially with this, pardon me, dumb comment about their clothing (what do you expect, coutures per every video, they wear their merch, let them advertise it, lol). Andrew is necessary for the back and forth with Avril, they have nice dynamic and that's the appeal. Also he gets more recent, pop culture refferences which I do appreciate, whereas Avril just doesn't get a lot of stuff. I really like their serious takes on the character of the show or on the production. I just can't bare the overanalyzing of every single choice when it comes to acting chalenges or the costumes. It's not THAT deep but they want it to be that deep. And also they want queens to quote their obscure refference which I myself, find pretty cringey. They're just too juvenile. All in all, I will watch both IMHO and Movie Bitches and will enjoy both, but IMHO I watch for their (homosexual) opinions and MB I watch moreso for the summary of the episode, than to know what they think. And I don't watch MB's videos other than RPDR reviews, whereas I can watch Darby just staring at the wall and will enjoy it thoroughly
@@xPriere oh, this is interesting because I can't stand Nina's rawviews. They are to me, too negative and she seems very bitter all the time. Whereas I enjoy Movie Bitches reviews, some have nice replay value. So I guess everything depends on the taste of the watcher

Utica is MY GIRL. As an actual visual artist/aspiring concept artist (for video games), I do tend to gravitate towards queens on the show that have art as their main focus (Crystal Methyd, Yvie Oddly, Jimbo). When she said "Old Gothic Architecture and Colofurl and Tim Burton", I quite never felt more spiritually connected. My personal top 3 is Utica, Symone and Gottmik. Symone to me is super quotable and an icon and Gottmik is so integral to progression within Drag Race casting and is just a great queen as well.
Darby looks like a young Bea Arthur starring in Lady Chatterley's Lover and I am here for it!!

I’m a 17 year old lad, so I have very limited drag knowledge outside of what’s online, and I am proud/ashamed to admit that the first time I saw Denali was IMHO’s ice skating video with her lmao. It’s so cool that you guys have the perspective of watching Denali and Kahmora on tv having worked with them, and watching the show as fellow queens who know what it’s like. As a youngin’ it makes me feel like a kid at thanksgiving or whatever sitting at the adult table and trying to follow the conversation so I can feel like an adult. Like oh, the people who know things are talking! I wanna know things too!

sasha velour didn't wear a wig /most/ of her season and she ended up winning, so I am very confused by Joey Jay's wig storyline that is absolutely going to be a thing
sasha's reason was because it was in homage to her mother.
if joey doesn't have a heartwarming type reason, the judges, i.e. michelle, are gonna constantly read her for not wearing wigs
In retrospect, the irony was _not_ lost on me when Joey was sent home wearing a wig _by_ a queen (Lala) _not_ wearing a queen.
Also, there have been plenty of queens on Drag Race not wearing a wig. (At least from time to time.) And the first queen to _mainly_ go wigless was Ongina on *season one.* So, not exactly groundbreaking. LOL
Though, I will give it to Joey that she’s the first non-bald queen to do it. (More than once anyway. See: Laganja Estranja’s wig reveal in “Stupid Girls”.)
