The 49 targeted tough, fast, good route running receivers.. Deebo isn't a good route runner. Purdy is a anticipatory thrower.. He needs receivers to give him defined routes.

Seems like the Niners, knew that the weakness of the Receiving core was the lack of pure receivers and attempted to address it. Aiyuk was the true WR1 on this team, that's a solid route runner and could beat any man coverage (No Diddy). Got to see how this play out but glad the Niners drafted some pure route runners.

I respect S. Smith Sr. So much - Dude was one of the toughest receivers to play the Game - shit i didn't even know he was that small - cause when you play big, Fast n tough- you seem bigger. Anybody ever seen Deebo and steph currys side by side picture? I think we got us some Good ones this year - PURDY GONNA HAVE PLENTY OF TARGETS -shanny has to adapt to a new NFL- the throw sets up the run just as good,and its not so predictable....

@@bigtone7078 exactly and you keep hearing him saying cowing is going to be better because of his speed, 4.38 and 4.1 is basically the same speed if Rick leans his head forward a little more on the run and they tie. Ricky is going to be awesome. Larry also trying to have it both ways as well saying that cowing is going to be better etc then also makes sure to add in that he could see him being lethal with Purdy as well that way he can say he knew while slso making a bold prediction that cowing is gonna be the guy and not him. Slick Ricky is going to be a stud! I believe cowing will be as well I think they both slide into the 2 and 3 spot when deebo goes and Jennings goes as crazy as that sounds in the end we won't be able to afford then. 49ers is transitioning from a run first to a pass first offense. You will see the training wheels complety taken away from Purdy when it comes to Kyle's trust in Purdy this coming season. Keep in mind Purdy's arm will be 100% to start this coming season. Exciting times to be a 49er fan. Bang Bang!
