Oline exactly same except puni which is possible upgrade,qb first off-season to fully develop year longer in system has to be a upgrade weapons all there best weapons return with aiyuk either on 5th year or long term plus pearsol n cowing it's upgrade running back same with CMC juice, Eli,mason and a rookie so offence definitely better, defence lost armstead edge lost young n bit of depth but upgraded with 10 sacks for last 3 years and DT they signed 3 guys so I think could be upgrade corner top 3 return plus the bring in yaddam and the rookie so deffo got better safety lose Gibson but get huff back brown a year nmore experience plus a rookie I think close call it a wash so where did they get worse apart from backer if Dre can't get back to form
If Aiyuk is on the team then our offense is better than last year with everyone coming back plus the additions of Pearsal, Puney, and that TE from Washington who put up big receiving numbers. On defense it depends on that #2 LB position and it someone steps up there. Otherwise our secondary and pass rush both got better with Leonard Floyd, Renardo Green, Malik Mustafa, and our interior defensive line lost Armstead but he was never on the field anyways. Overall I say the team is set up to be slightly better is Aiyuk stays and if the boys don't have a issues with motivation, chemistry, confidence etc, from the superbowl loss. Plus Wilks did not have our defense playing well last year, and I expect that will be improved.

Defense is definitely better. Secondary is by far the best it’s been under Shanny. LBs always a strength. D line for better.
Offense got better as well. Deeper at WR and RB. While the Oline has another year of continuity. Brock will take a step.
If niners move off jordan mason and mason BLOWS UP on another team...smh, I'll be pissed. Cody schrader is great but when does Jordan get his moment? I'm sorry, I want Jordan over Elijah.

With the SB Window open for the upcoming Season I think the 9ers addressed the Defense better than the Offense.

20:00 Peacock is nuts. In the SB, Stafford made the play (the no look to Kupp) w/ zero run game & 1 all-pro level receiver. Purdy had a chance to win it in the 4th w/ 2 min left on 3rd & 5; 9ers had the perfect call vs a slot blitz... double slants. Anyone who has played QB even at the HS level knows you read that inside out in case the slot CB blitzes. Purdy even admitted to predetermining to throw it to Jauan; of course, the chiefs blitzed from the slot leaving Aiyuk wide open. If they get that 1st down, they could run out the clock & kick the FG for the 19-16 win. In the regular season, Purdy hits that throw. Most 9er fans don't know football & don't understand how many basic reads like this he missed in the SB. He flat choked. That's what is frustrating for those of us who played QB before. It didn't have to be a superstar play like Stafford's was. Avg fans underestimate Stafford. But look at the Rams in 2022 when he was injured (5-12) vs the two seasons he's been healthy (22-12). Look at Golladay, Marvin Jones, or Cooper Kupp's stats without Stafford.
If the Falcons believe in Penix, they have to take the pick. With Cousins this affords them a proper training period, which most 1st round QB's don't get. Why this is "crazy", I'll never know and I don't like or care about the Falcons. If the Cheifs had a 1st round pick and a QB they liked was available, they should pull the trigger. QB is such a different position to draft you should take multiple shots.

😂 Agree. Its really a wait n see situation. 53 man Roster not even set. Although, we kinda of have an idea on camp battles are. Vets on bubble. Rookies or newbies with hardest hill to climb. But injuries can still happen n recovery not determined. On defense, many FAs on D-line, one FA for Greenlaw, a couple of CBs via FAs n draft, got 3 SS types, but no FS replacement for Gibson. BA contract or trade hasn't played out. Indeed, everyone expected O-line upgrade. Williams is 35, retired or injury possible. Center n right side is avg. O-line ranked #20-28, but still got to SB. Still together. While Niners did address in 3rd n 6rh. Don't expect a starter. Vish says college O-line need to transition to pro, physically n mentally. Even, last yr draft, one produce 1 starter. Moody, not money yet. Brown got to start, because of Huff injury. Shows promise. Appears Winters, Wills, Luter are getting better. Takes time to rookies to improve, especially, since the Niners draft so low every yr lately. Problem with winning consistently. Last yr crop of promising UFAs, none are with the team this yr. Gems in the rough are hard to find. Expecting the same from this yr draft n UFAs picks. Few starters n backups or practice squad. Everything is projection at this point. Injuries are a concern, can happen in camp or preseason or regular season. Also, a new DC n Assistant HC. Has to mesh n build team chemistry with players who won't be here next yr. I think, Niners approach has worked so far. FAs with proven ability, no big names or big egos or salary cap hits. Signing Jennings was a surprise. Niners usually let role players walk, opting for replacement in draft. Some role were more important than, Niners thought. Defense fell to #12. So how does Kyle changed the offense to fit Deebo, Aiyuk (if stays), Cmc, Kittle, Jennings, Pearsall n Cowing. More 4-5 WRs. Second coming of the greatest show on turf. Let the camp battles begin.

The biggest loser is Jed York who must think to himself that this BA negotiation takes all the joy out of owning the team.
Not sure about that… he’s not a caring fan like us that are emotionally invested in these players. Owning the Niners gives him all kind of NFL Billionaire clout, even if they loose super bowls they win at the bank, that’s all they care about.
