You know you've become a staple in the hobby community on RUclips when Matthew Glanfeild himself sends you minis before release. Love to see how much this channel has grown!

They look sick but a nightmare to paint
How did you feel about painting over a metallic "primer"...?...
I feel like some metallic primers/rattle cans give you weird textures and the paint (especially speed paint/contrast) don't stick as well.. but it looks like you didn't have much pooling or water being repelled from the primer... maybe my Rustoleum primer isn't as good as the AP stuff?
@@SciFiPorkChop28 primers are finicky and they are all different. I’ve used a lot of Rustoleum but only black. I’ve used so many different primers and they all interact so differently. It’s hard to say but what I did worked for me.
these models are a bit of a nightmare for me until i take into account my style of painting: rattle can black, dry brush two-three colors, wash... done
@@HunterGargoyle yeah I had over an hour of painting footage and I didn’t capture everything. Each model is probably taking me one to one and half hours. Not ideal for me but just working a piece at a time
