Custom Painting A 1950's Handbag! | Alice In Wonderland Themed

Let’s revamp this damaged 1950’s handbag! I love to do whatever I can to keep an item alive rather than throwing it away, and this piece was a perfect opportunity to get out the acrylic paints. Thank you! I’m also very cautious about that kind of thing. But when something is damaged anyways, painting is a great to bring it back to life. The typewriter I customized had a pretty damaged paint job as well, so I was comfortable with repainting it.

Thank you so much! I haven’t yet, but I’d definitely like to add a top coat. I just want to be sure I use something appropriate and don’t get it on the metal. Fortunately the fabric kind of soaks up the paint so it’s pretty solidly on there. But the extra insurance would be nice.

Where do you find these songs?

I like to look on Archive.org and search for really old public domain records. That is, 1923 or older. People put audio files on there recorded directly from antique shellacs.
