Custom Painting a LOUIS VUITTON Bag?!

- Do you want to see a really cool, unique art customization? This was the most TERRIFYING thing I have ever touched with a paint brush before, but... I customized a luxury Louis Vuitton bag! As intimidating as painting a designer purse may be... I was very happy with the outcome!
If you're curious, I used Angelus Leather Acrylic paint to do this. It's specifically made for leather purses and shoes to prevent cracking. I opted out of using the leather preparer and deglazer after swatching a small spot on the bag, and feeling like it lifted too much of the bag's original beauty. Also, to seal everything in, I used Angelus Acrylic Finisher after the video.

THIS CAME OUT SO NICELY!!!?!??! I LOVE the colors and the leaves look beautiful and so striking against the bag. I would've been way too nervous to do this hahaha. Also you with a pillow in the bag 🤣

I don't really care for expensive designer bags (I already have the best cat purse/bag ever... It's paws stick to its eyes with magnets and it can detach to show its eyes. It's hiding. 😁).
But this bag is way better after you painted it! I don't care for LV, but now I would buy it. 😁 Well done! I love this channel. 😁

Angelus paints are amazing. You can use them for leather or canvas. Alot of people use them to customize shoes.

@@MiraByler you should! Look on Instagram for custom shoes, people do some crazy things with them! I used to do it all the time to mine! And those tiny paint containers last a LONG time, I normally use the paint straight from the container. I've probably painted 40+ pairs of shoes and still haven't had to order more of the colors. The key is super light layers.
(Watch out though! You'll get obsessed once you start! 😂 I've spent a ton of money on Angelus products. They even have metallics!)

I bought a carry-on suitcase that was the perfect size but was printed with a name across the front and back. So I painted a swirly flower design in pastel colours over both to camouflage the words. I still use it now and always get comments on my unique design.

I know you felt the stress of working on an expensive article, I have also painted custom items and I did not enjoy myself. I even did some airbrushing on a car but the most stress I ever felt was a mural on a building in front of an audience, I had two others helping me and directing them to apply colors and fields of paint so I could go in and add details that I wanted was a little crazy making! I think you did a GREAT job and I think he will get a premium for that bag! You might enjoy painting on jean jackets more! color by felix has done some super work in that area and he charges for it too! This can be a money maker if you can churn them out! I once offered T-Shirt commissions from a art stall in a craft fair, with samples only sold for pickup on the last day! The airbrush made a huge difference for me when trying to make many shirts to earn a profit! Have you ever tried to use an airbrush? Loved the video! You did GREAT!
Whoa! I had no idea you’ve done that kind of stuff. You always surprise me with your art. I would be so scared to paint on a car! My mom bought my brother and me an airbrush to share once, but I think it got lost when we moved. I’d love to try it!

You've given me courage to paint my pluleather white office chair. Like you I'm apprehensive to start. But unlike you I need to buy the paints aswell. So I can procrastinate a bit (alot) longer. Thank you for your anxiety riddled video, so relatable.
Today I just finished using all ink of my sharp ultra fine point pen and I am sooooooooo satisfied right now with mileage and blackness! I love using it but I'm probably NEVER going to buy another one again cause I'm trying to use what I have and buy minimal plastic!

I love the Tiffany Blue (turquiose) leaves across the top it goes well with the monogram in the background really unique!And I'm going to be really honest here I usually dont like custom painted LVs. I wish I had a hidden talent to record and do a tutorial on.....lifes not fair.

I actually customise all of my bags. But only cos I make them. I can't ever find bags I like, so since I'm a seamstress as Well as an artist, I just make what I like! You did a fantastic job on it. I'll definitely try this on the next leather bag I make. Xx
