- My friend Chloe Rose Art and I decided to take a trip to Hobby Lobby. This wasn't just any trip though... we chose each other's art supplies, and we both have to paint/draw something with whatever the other artist bought.

Leftover buggies: make/buy some slime, put the bugs in the slime...all in a thick ziploc baggie...package it beautifully and send to Chloe with a thank you note.

Ladybugs are predators who eat aphids. But they do climb ON plants. Obviously you need to pull that page out of the sketchbook.... I found this very fun, thanks.

Those pastels are actually some of the best ones out there! And mixing oil n water? So cool! Since I am subscribed to you both I did not realize that you had hit 100K subscribers congratulations Miranda! I guess that I don’t pay enough attention to numbers. I think you did an amazing job and the unicorn is so funny! You guys could make this a series very easily. Monthly collab with Chloe n Miranda!
I hate the feel of pastels and chalk, too. You certainly aren’t alone there. I absolutely love you and Chloe.
You could draw different environments for the different bugs :)
You could:
1. cut the bugs into pieces
2. make a sculpture or 3D picture of something decidedly non-buggy out of the pieces (for example turn bodies into flower petals, legs into stems)
3. paint the sculpture in decidedly non-buggy colors
4. glue one final bug onto the piece for good measure

Your poppies are absolutely gorgeous, and I'm glad you both found such good deals at the store. Maybe make some dioramas with the bugs? Add them to fairy gardens? Get a canvas board and pin them to it like a bug display? Those can be artful =D
One nit to pick, and I’m really sorry, but it did get to me: “There was this really annoying person”...who was just trying to shop, like the rest of us. We share isles with our fellow shoppers all the time. If RUclipsrs want privacy, they could ask the store’s permission to film off-hours. Really fun video though!

I'm really impressed how you incorporated the bugs to your beautiful painting. I think I would have stuck them to the cover of the journal... not as creative as your idea! And the idea to prank your friends in their cars is great, but please place them at a spot where they dont can accidently spot them while driving, I fear that could cause a real accident ^^;
Sticking with the ladybugs was a good choice!! 🐞 Amazed they stuck to the oil pastels!!🌻
For the leftover bugs, spray paint them in fun colors (brights, metallics, maybe like rose gold?), glue in an eye screw, and make pendants from them!

That other collab was how I found one of you. I can’t remember which one, but it started with Rae doing a review of a crappy art subscription box and then in another video she mentioned one of you, and from there I saw the collab. And then there were three. Still my three favorites...plus Jazz’a. We have to include Jazza in any list of favorite RUclipsrs.

I love your picture! I really loved your finished product. The bokeh was a nice touch. And I don't know if you've done one yet but can you do a tutorial of recreating bokeh with traditional media, because once I noticed you'd done it, you had cut between when you started the process and the final result. I really would like to learn how to do that myself.

You could bring the bugs and some sticky tack with you the next time you visit someone's house, and when they're not looking, attach them to the wall next to an air vent/grate so it looks like they're crawling out!

You could paint the insects and use them in a painting, as well as in art atack that made giant images using objects of the color that is needed, of course you would do it in small haha

I’ve seen bug art that was a solid background with GOLD bugs then glued on,
Like imagine gold on black
And I’ve seen that on flat back (wood canvas) or in a shadow box like frame
And it’s like a fancy anatomical figure or a fancy collectors display.

Use the leftover super glue to connect a piece of super-fine fishing line to some, then you can make them appear to crawl when you prank people with them.

With the bugs I’d love to see you do a mixed media piece. You can paint over them and for ideas there’s a lovely lady that I also like to watch Maremi SmallArt. I’d love to see you step into a different creative area and see what happens. I’v also subscribe again because for some reason RUclips unlinked me to you so you might just want to mention that to your viewers. I love oil pastels but dry pastels give me the hibe-gebies.
