Very lovely Carla! I too enjoy each season and I don't understand why people want to rush them- Time goes by so fast anyway! I love the advent calendar! Thank you for taking us with you to those beautiful little towns.
Hi. I'm like you, I enjoy Thanksgiving and the decorations of this holiday. Turkeys, Horns of Plenty, Pilgrims and other vintage treasures bring back the days of childhood at my grandparents house. Each holiday is special and deserves to be celebrated without being rushed. My Christmas items are being set up now and I'm enjoying the season. I really enjoyed the view of the shops and the people enjoying this beautiful town. Thank you
The first thing II do is decorate my bedroom with red and white bedding, A wreath over my bed and lights in the windows. Sofa pillows, then pinecone collection, vintage postcards and lots of candles in the living room. Narcissus planted in my vintage Avon red glass bowl. Snowflake lights in the kitchen. A pine tree quilt I made for my Dad, which was returned to me after he passed, is draped over my rocking chair. That's it for now, front window lights tomorrow! Love your videos.
Hi Carla, love when you take us shopping, so many unique shops. I would never get past the bakery, the pastries looked so good. I have a few Christmas decorations out, but not in full swing yet.❤
I don’t start until the first week of Dec. We have two December birthdays too. I am much slower as I age. That is ok! I enjoy my decor after Christmas very much and don’t take anything down until Epiphany.
I also enjoy Thanksgiving. I wait until after it is over and start decorating. It is so fun to see all the stores and small villages/towns neat your home. I hope to visit someday during the fall or before Christmas. I so appreciate you taking us al😅one and sharing your charming home. Thank you!
Hi Carla, I always enjoy your videos and look forward to seeing them each week. I was fascinated with your charming caroler collection. The display is lovely with the snow, lights and that sign! I will start decorating tomorrow. It takes me several days and I am tweeting it for several more days after that! I went to a Christmas festival yesterday and had a conversation with someone and we discovered that we both are fans of yours and Linda's channel! Enjoy your decorating, I would love to see more!
It sounds like me, always "playing" with my decorating. We'll be decorating together! How fun that you met a "Kindred Spirit". That is one thing I love about RUclips, it brings us together. Have a great week Donna!
Oh , how I wish I was out shopping with you! Here in California, those type shops are far and few. Love all the gorgeous handmade sweater and mittens and beanies. And the woodland animals ornaments are so charming. I, of course, would not leave without some baked goods! My favorite table is the baked goods at any boutique or bazarre or festival, since I am not a baker. The town was so cozy... and that antique car at the end was amazing!
Just started last night here in Tampa and I'm from NH . Moved here 3years ago. Its different not having the snow and weather but still a wonderful place to have Christmas. My decor has more flamingos and sea shells now 😂
Lol, you have to decorate to your surroundings! We just got some snow today....finally. Some people think I'm crazy, but I love snow! It makes me feel like a kid again. Have a great week Kristine.
Love your decorations and the little trip down your beautiful little town. I actually started a little early this year, before Thanksgiving ( which I don't normally like to do) but my boys were up during Hunting season and helped me put up my tree. So I'm pretty much done with decorating and buying and wrapping presents, Now I can relax and enjoy the season and start my Christmas cards.
Hello Carla!!!! What lovely video---so festive. I decorated my mantle, book case and small table. I love what you have done so far---so very pretty!!!!
Like you I wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate and do it over multiple days as my schedule permits. Then I also celebrate the 12 days of Christmas so my Christmas decorations are well up into the new year. For me it is so sad to see the Christmas tree out on the curb on Dec. 26th and everything taken down.
Warner is also a great little town to visit. It’s just up the road (Rte 103) from Tooky! Wonderful little shops, restaurants, and museums. You can also make an easy hike to the top of Mt Kearsage from the Warner side of the mountain (since you can drive up a good portion of it), and see for miles! Maybe a trip for spring or summer? I used to live in Sutton, right on the Warner line, on Birch Hill, with an amazing view of the Minks, known as the foothills to Mt Kearsage.
I agree, Warner is a great little Town. When we first moved to NH, we rented a Cottage near New London so I was able to explore that whole area....beautiful! We did hike Mt Kearsage at that time also and I agree, great views. Have a great week!
I really enjoyed this video!! What a delightful New England town! The ladies in the bakery were so friendly! Like you, I love my Fall decoration and do a fair amount for Thanksgiving. So I am just getting started with Christmas! Thanks for this fun video!
Hello Carla 🎄🤶 As always enjoyed the video, happy start to Christmas decorating, enjoyed seeing your tree with various lovely decorations. The Advent calendar is such a great surprise each day, a little fun! Always enjoy visiting towns and their stores, thanks for taking us along. Hope you have a peaceful week ☮

I have all my decorating finished I do the outside on your thanksgiving weekend in Canada we had temperatures almost fifty degrees so we do outside then merry Christmas and happy new year
Hi Carla this is a really lovely video & a treat to start the Christmas month off. The Advent calendar is gorgeous & your Christmas tree looks stunning, I do like the vintage Father Christmas framed picture on your wall behind the tree. Lovely little town & gifts. I absolutely love decorating for Christmas & I actually did mine today, it took all day but I was as you said full of childhood memories! I always put a screen saver of Christmas with carols on my TV then I am lost for a few hours enjoying myself. It would be interesting maybe in one of your videos to share what Christmas Eve was like for you as a little girl, I think I will ask Linda this question in my next viewing. Kind regards & happy times.🎄
I enjoy everything about your videos, You are always so kind And sweet, And so real,
Thank you so much Carmela!! Have a beautiful week.

Yes, the Baked goods were beautiful. I did get a homemade Pop Tart and it was delicious, like a crescent dough. Have fun decorating!
