    Suggestion: Instead of gluing the last 2 sides together - use 2 paper clips. This way, after the holiday season, you can remove the paper clips and you'll be able to fold the ornament closed and store it away until next year.

      I actually thought of doing that, but believe it or not, I didn't have any in the house. lol. I will do that next time and just store these in my tree ornament box which has dividers so they won't get smooshed. Thank you for the suggestion Sandra.

      @@mynewenglandstory In a pinch, would you have any bobbi pins in the house?

    Your Christmas beeswax candles were gorgeous. All the different shapes and colors are beautiful together! The ornaments are so unique! My favorite is the taupe colored one. They look so great as a garland. I would love to attend a German Christmas Market! I would , of course, indulge in the baked goods, as its something I really don't do. I just went to a high school Christmas boutique here in my town ,and I always buy spice or sugared nuts when I see them. They are one of my guilty pleasures this time of year. ANd anything gingerbread!

      Oh perfect! I hosted something similar years ago....we did a cookie exchange and we each brought an easy craft to make with enough supplies for all of the ladies to make. We had so much fun making our crafts and had plenty of laughs. Enjoy!!

    Chestnuts! What do they taste like? I have seen them in the grocery store but just bought for decor.

    • @mynewenglandstory
      @mynewenglandstory  7 месяцев назад

      They were kind of soft. My friend that I went with said the ones she has had before were not soft and tasted much better, almost a little sweet. This was my first time having them.
