We live in a 1760 house and I know it’s constant upkeep, but worth being lucky enough to live in a home that’s been through such history. Your home looks lovely and you both have taken such loving care of a beautiful New England home.
Oh Carla, the restoration turned out gorgeous. You and Mark did a wonderful job. The foliage in your area is so so pretty this time of year 🍁. Have a nice evening. 🧡
The front facade of your home looks just beautiful. I love the statement the red door makes. The pumpkin spice coffee sounds like the perfect fall treat. Thanks for sharing.
We build a New England Saltbox .42 years ago,and still reside here today! It is a not a very common style home here. We have 3,100 sq. Ft. I love our home, and you also ,love and are restoring a historical home. Your front entry looks amazing! Great job
Beautiful!!! I love the red door!!!! Thank you for recipe for pumpkin latte, can hardly wait to make it. Although, I will need to get Ohio maple syrup! I so enjoy your videos!! Blessings
🍁Your home is lovely. You have my applause on your repairing and painting job. We have a full cape. I removed every last bid of paint from doors, trim, windows and thousands of shingles with a heat gun and a five in one tool. And scaffolding. It took about four months. It was worth it!
As a useless driver, I love and enjoy every single one of your videos. I so much enjoy when you take me around the various areas in New England to view and enjoy. It has always been my dream to one day live in New England unfortunately I do not see that coming thank you so much Enjoy the season of fall as it is so beautiful and you England at this time and it happens to be one of my favorite seasons
The finished look of the front of your house looks so well done. I think if the house could talk it would say how proud it feels now. Many thanks to you and Mark for restoring this old beauty. Thank you for that pumpkin spice creamer recipe. I will have to investigate frothers now.
All the hard work paid off! Everything looks lovely. The house and door color look great together. Thank you for that yummy recipe for a pumpkin spice latte!
Loved your video today especially the foliage hike, & your house came out great! Tip on the mum if you deadhead the dried up buds it will rebloom ! I do it as each dries up that way it continually blooms😊
Hi Carla! I love the color you chose for your door! Good call going with a darker shade. The pumpkins above the door are a super cute choice! Thanks for sharing. 🎃
What a beautiful door for a beautiful home:), One day I hope to visit the area it looks so pretty. My dad lived in Connecticut before he passed and I had hoped to visit. I live in Ohio so the leaves are very beautiful here too enjoy this Fall and God bless
The final reveal of your home restoration looks beautiful! I agree with the taking time to do something for yourself. The little luxuries do make a big difference.
Beautiful exterior home restoration, Carla! The color scheme is lovely! Those little pumpkins above the doors on New England homes are special to see! I decided to treat myself to your pumpkin spice latte, complete with the cardamon. I do need a frother first! Thanks, have a great week.
Hi Carla, what an enjoyable intro to your video, so calm and cozy. 🍂 I too use cardamom spice in warm drinks and for sure baking🧑🍳 😋 Enjoy your week 🌻🌾
Another lovely video. The coffee creamer looks so good. I have never added maple syrup, but sounds yummy. I was looking for cardamon to make a chai spice blend for my coffee. When I found it , it was $12.95 for a tiny bottle here in California! So I left it on the shelf. The red door looks wonderful. Can't wait to see what you put on it for Christmas!
Great door color. I am looking for the New England red paint for my door. Purchased it years ago in Vermont. Might have to go back out to Vt/NH to get it...Can't find anything like it here. I have climbed Mt Monadnock. Color is not peak here yet in the Great Lakes. But what we have is beautiful.
Hello Carla… I hope this comment reaches you as for some reason I could not post you a comment on your Vermont video, which by the way was lovely. I always think of the film High Society when I hear Vermont mentioned!… The Pumpkin Spice Latte looks delicious just right for a chilly Autumn morning. Gorgeous colour on your door, do you wonder who was the very first person to live in your house & what it looked like?… Great video, thank you..☺️🍁
The door looks amazing. I wonder if there is any meaning behind red and black doors. Maybe it meant something or just a preference. I have all the ingredients to make the pumpkin spice creamer and will definitely make it.

The door came out so nice!!
Thank you Karen! I have planted Mums in the past with no luck in having them come back. It may be our region or the variety I am buying?

ASMR vibes at the beginning Carla! Love it - don't you just love the smell of fresh coffee brewing in the morning?! Nothing like it...

Oh my, that is pricey. I did link one below the video and I think it was $6 or $7....McCormick.
