Anyone of sound mind, and who has common sense can now understand why they got rid of Jay and replaced him with Eloy. They missed those hard hitting drums, and the rhythmic style of drumming that joy used to have. There are not many drummers out there who have that kind of rhythmic sound. Joey Jordison was one of them, Vinny Paul was another, and now they have Eloy Casagrande. And now that you hear him playing slipknot music, it is very clear. There was something missing all those years. Slipknot has never sounded so good. The heart and soul of slipknot is in their drumming, they needed Eloy and Eloy needed them And on a sidenote, holy fuck, quad bass drums with double swing pedals each lol that is why Eloy is the best drummer in the world
It’s a far stretch to say Eloy is the best drummer in the world. Lol. There’s no best! Although he is amazing. And he’s still only using two pedals, the other two bass drums are just for show.

Musicians at this level have contracts stating exactly what they can and can’t do. He told them during practice one day and he left effective immediately. No mud slinging from either side.

I just watched the video of this song from Amsterdam last year with Jay. I’m blown away with how sloppy it is. Can’t even be compared to this.
