Good question and yes, restricted flow can be a real problem when used to replace an existing vent of a different flow rating. Some of these more sleek designs, especially the return vent styles, will have less flow than the "standard" grill pattern. Attention to the vent's air flow specifications is needed.
He's trying hard to shill for free product from Aria LOL. They are terrible vents since their total intake and egress area is a fraction than standard vent grills, so your hvac systems are working overtime trying to compensate. So what to do? You could put 5 times as many of these vents to ensure proper flow but who would do that?
They do have air output issues for sure. Adding 5 per vent is not required but sizing up is a good idea. We don’t work for them, just show cool products that people seem to like👍
Caution! Aria Vents can be very restricted. You may do a pile of work and then have to undo. Talk to a HVAC professional.
