Omg guys hope you are all well now. You drove through my little home down I grew up in. The bridge you couldn’t go over the locals call the low level bridge. I didn’t even know there was a camp grounds out that side of Keepit Dam. It is looking full these days but not to long ago there was hardly any water in it. Hubby and I look to go out there one day when we end up with the next van. Hope you are enjoying the High Country. Travel safe.
If there’s road closures, follow the trucks. They know how to get through👍

Have stayed there at the Armidale Showgrounds during cold weather . We were in the middle of the oval , no one near us and woke to ice coving the ground , vehicle and caravan . Was a great stopover . Where was the lake you camped at next ? Apologies if you have already mentioned it .

Been to Dubbo when my parents took us kids travelling around Australia. There is a pretty cool adventure park there that the kids would enjoy.
Hope you are all fit again soon! We must be following us, we did Ivanhoe, Dubbo through to Broken Hill we had no problem. We are currently at Ceduna getting ready for the border crossing into WA this week. Stopped off at Port Augusta, Hmmmm! Cracking storm here last night, we wondered if you were heading our way...Take care the UK Leg Ends.
