Favorite salad topping...crispy chickpeas! I try to have a bunch of chickpeas cooked up for smashed chickpea salad or hummus, but then I always save a bit to pop in the air fryer, sprinkle with salt and garlic, and toast up while chopping veg. They are addictive!
Not sure I’d call it a component bowl but I love a clean out the fridge salad. Cabbage, spinach, lettuce, onion, carrots, celery, steamed broccoli & cauliflower and potatoes (steamed, boiled, air fried or whatever) with a dressing that catches my fancy, tahini & lemon, balsamic with mustard, maple and nutritional yeast or even a mix of lemon & raspberry balsamic vinegars. So many possibilities! Thank you for sharing
What a genius idea to use your food scale to make sure you are getting enough vegetables! I'll dust mine off and start using mine too. 1 pound every meal?
I eat a massive salad everyday for lunch.. they're usually the same everyday because I never get sick of It... on the weekends I add a fee rice stuff grape leaves, olives and croutons.. but during the week I skip those. Costco has amazing roasted edamame that I use all week.
I love your meal prep hacks!!! Such great meals and advice and I love love love seeing how you apply this all to your own life. Its real advice for the real world.
I go through phases with salads. At the moment I am addicted to my "tower of deliciousness"! 1st layer romaine lettuce 2nd layer coleslaw out of a bag 3rd layer diced cucumber and peppers 4th layer 1 orange diced 5th layer 1 Tbsp Kimchi 6th layer sprouted mungbeans Drizzle of tahini. Mix all and dig in! He kai tino reka 🌿💚🌿
I never ever considered or even thought you could freeze rice! I am making a batch today and freezing in half cup patties. Great idea! Hope you had a fantastic trip!
I love freezing rice! I usually add a splash of water when reheating and cover the pot with a lid to help steam it. If you’re using a microwave maybe a tiny few drops of water and a damp paper towel 🤷🏻♀️
@@mastandstars5869 yes! I reheat cold rice with a little splash of water and paper towel and it's like freshly made. But I would think freezing it would dry it out? I have 10 quarter cup portions of rice freezing to try this and I'm so glad to have the convenience . I'll put them in zip lock bags tomorrow and heat them up when I want!
Great video. A mega salad bowl I make here in the UK: baby gem lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber (sorry!), radishes, sauerkraut, roasted red peppers from a jar, pimento stuffed green olives, avocado, sunflower seeds, salad dressing, tofu.
OMG, all your food looks so good!!! I’m getting into eating more like this but my son doesn’t like it. He will eat it if that’s what’s for dinner, but he doesn’t like it. I’m experimenting with sauces and dressings because I don’t like ANY! My go to is either soy sauce, or the only kind of dressing I like. I do pretty good with eating veggies (trying to do more) but my downfal is desserts and sugar😕. I e watched some of your videos and really like them!! I’ve got some great ideas from you! Thanks.
Love 🥰 this video beautiful Chelsea and still eating salads 🥗 even though it's coming into the autumn in the UK. Another awesome video Chelsea with 😋 healthy plant foods and love 💕Chelsea and her beautiful family.
I love your meal prep. My life is busy (single mom, working full time, lots of extra activities) and I am trying to do more like what you are doing, cook the foods when I have time. I love your fridge organization! Would you do a video explaining that? I think clear containers would be super helpful for me. I am working very hard to avoid food waste. I'm dealing with a lot of food allergies and am on a very limited diet, bowls work for me because then I just meal prep the foods I can eat and combine them. Breakfast is my hardest meal (no oats, wheat, soy, dairy or corn plus low sugar and low oil because I am trying to lose 40+ lbs) so I meal prepped cooked quinoa with some fruit that I can have, made 4 servings of that yesterday. With those restrictions there are not a lot of breakfast choices! Thank you! Also a kitchen tour video would be great, your favorite appliances, how you store things... :)
Chelsea, was wondering do u worry about how much protein u eat in a day? My family is all about loading up on protein and I've always felt like alot of protein causes inflammation. Just curious about your thoughts on it. Also love your videos.❤
Great video! What is the 3rd veggie that you were roasting along with the potatoes? The other pan included carrots, parsnips and potatoes. I live in the US and recognize everything you're including, but I feel like you named one veggie that I didn't recognize...
It pains me slightly to hear how expensive cucumbers are for you right now, meanwhile I have a legit Cucumber Problem in my home garden. I wish I could magic some cucumbers over to you, we are overrun with them! Oh, and sushi bowls are our favorite too. :)
I have been doing mixed greens, cut up yellow peppers, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, half sweet potato, cut up green olives, hummus and this fat free zesty Italian dressing from Kraft for lunch. I love it!
How many moms are still skate boarding? R U kidding me? That alone is Epic Chelsea✌ All of your salads look delicious. Thanks

mine never come out crispy, what am I doing wrong? lol
Maybe too many at once? A thin layer is better. And I pull the tray out and toss them a bit half way through.

I've been loving this style of eating. Putting hummus and potato in salads has been a game changer for satiety.

Hey from Perth WA.Lovin" your vids.
Loved those meals especially the salad at the end 😍
A couple chopped dates in the kale salad would have been so good
I love all of your salad recipes Chelsea.
Love the salad box for travel can you show do you pack it in a cooler w ice packs or do you keep in a bag with no ice packs thanks!
Thank you for you posts and recommendations, you have helped me more than I can express. 😊
Chelsea, was wondering do u worry about how much protein u eat in a day? My family is all about loading up on protein and I've always felt like alot of protein causes inflammation. Just curious about your thoughts on it. Also love your videos.❤
I think that only goes for non-plant proteins like meat & dairy. Plant proteins actually reduce inflammation.
That dressing looks yum! My go-to if I'm in a rush is microwave potato with Mexican seasoning, salsa, and crunchy salad veg.
Very healthy and filling. 😋😋
would love the recipe for the chili mix, the card was not popping up. I am subscribe on RUclips. Thanks :) Enjoying your videos.
My big shallow serving bowl is the Habitat Riko, available in the UK, not sure if in NZ too x
I love the bowl! I have some that are similar-we call them plowls (plate bowls).
Great video! What is the 3rd veggie that you were roasting along with the potatoes? The other pan included carrots, parsnips and potatoes. I live in the US and recognize everything you're including, but I feel like you named one veggie that I didn't recognize...
Cómo haces para ser tan bella persona ! Abrazos del alma 💫🤗🌸

Lots of helpful tips and tricks. Thanks again.
love hummus, your fridge is pretty stock, still the kumara very expensive 😊
Love these videos, so informative and inspiring!

Love your videos!
I am looking for a big bowl for my salads too. Can't seem to find one I like. Any tips? I didn't catch the name of your bowl store.
your kale is so much nicer in NZ, here in melb, Aust, its always old and dying
Chelsea, is the burrito bowl mixture somewhere? Also the tofu recipe? Ty!!
I have been doing mixed greens, cut up yellow peppers, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, half sweet potato, cut up green olives, hummus and this fat free zesty Italian dressing from Kraft for lunch. I love it!
Random question but do you shred your own carrots, and if you do, how? They look perfect for salads and stir-fries
What’s in your dressing?
Do you know about how much fiber you get in the course of a day?
K.I.S.S. keep it simple sweetie ❤😊
Where was your trip?
Do you really eat 1 lb of veggies per meal?
I’m not sure to be that obsessed with how much cauliflower you have is healthy
Please turn down the music - it's unnecessary and disturbs the neighbours when I watch you in the evenings. thank you
