    It is a trivet. The metal thing that goes in the bottom of the pot. I make potatoes at least once a week as well. I love the Instant Pot.

    “Boom” is not an appropriate phrase when talking about a pressure cooker. 😂

    The food lifter is called a trivet. My grandma's pressure cooker came with one.

    • @IWantToCook

      Yes! Could you tell it had escaped my brain when I was filming? Lol. Thanks for putting it back in.

      For some reason the trivet that came with my Instant Pot was not made with the handles. It would be much easier to work with if it did have handles. Oh well, I do love my Instant Pot and use it all the time. It's magic with the large boneless, skinless, frozen chicken breasts I get at Sam's Club. It makes the best beef stew and the best pot roast EVER.

    I saw another youtuber oil the potato after pressure cooking them, add oil to the skin and bake them for a few minutes. I'm going to do this in my air fryer.

    Did you notice the end of two of the potato’s were rotten? I would cut the rot off before cooking it. Don’t mean to be negative..just curious.

    • @IWantToCook
      @IWantToCook  3 года назад

      Yes, I did notice that and didn’t eat those parts. Definitely good advice to cut off the bad parts, esp BEFORE filming a video, lol. Check those spuds, friends!

    Is anyone still using an Instant Pot? I used to use it every day for something, but I can't remember the last time I used it.

    I don't eat oil....poison to a healthy body. What I do is put them in the fridge after cooking and then after a while when i want them, i. cook them in the air fryer.....something about put them in the fridge takes them to another level.
