Great review, as always, Kelan! This "the current aftershave is much better/closer to the vintage than the current EDT effect" comes with many houses, b/c they often don't mess with the aftershaves, when they reformulate the EDTs. E.g. current Fahrenheit and Kouros aftershaves are much closer to the vintage EDT formulations than the current EDTs. Looking forward to you next video, take care, Dan.
I love Quorum. Never tried the original or the aftershave. The new formula is okay by me. Very masculine and rich. Thanks for the video and info on the aftershave
I have the current formulation and thought it lacked depth and performance.... once again you came with a perfect 👌 example of how a “fragrance review” should be executed!
Thank for the kind words as always dude! I found out the current formula aftershave has some oakmoss in it if some sort and that explains the scent difference so that combined with the vintage really changes the game with quorum
Excellent review, as always. I have long been a fan of Quorum. I only use the vintage (pre-2011) myself. Quorum is also interesting because it was one of the reasons why oakmoss was eventually banned. Also, rumor has it that Charles Bronson wore this in his latter years (you gotta love that.)
From what I gathered, Quorum was a very popular cologne throughout the world because of its price in relation to its quality. Suddenly, numerous lawsuits were filed because people though there was so much oakmoss in Quorum, people thought it would actually effect their health. In fact, Quorum at one point was nicknamed, "The Oakmoss Devil." Also, Quorum was one of the first fragrances to champion the use of treemoss, along with Halson Z14 and Aramis. From my understanding, today synthetic oakmoss is allowed and that's why oakmoss is listed as an ingredient on boxes of Giorgio Beverly Hills, Bijan, Paco, Claiborne for Men, etc. Thanks again.

Hey thanks so much for watching and commenting Chris! I’m glad you enjoyed the review. I didn’t really like quorum until I got my vintage bottles and tried the aftershave as well
Thanks again for an in depth review. Most others will not cover frags like this. I was wondering how you feel Quorum performs in the Spring and Summer compared to Paco Rabane? Both are available at my local discounter in their current reformulations. But Quorum is less than half the price. Clearly Quorum isn't not Acqua di Parma. But I wondered if it was usable for warm weather as well. I heard Quorum was described as a dirty Paco Rabane. Thanks for your feedback.
I’d say it probably performs better in the warmer weather since it’s a darker scent. The cold would probably shut it down faster. But if I had to pick I would go with Paco Rabanne Pour Homme every time it’s just an overall better fragrance in my opinion. Thank you for watching and commenting Robert !
I have a vintage of Quorum that says on the bottle "QUORUM COLOGNE FOR MEN" and in the bottom says PUIG; at the back says "tester, no for sale", it's so strong that it lasts 8 hours at least on my skin, I got it in eBay for £9 English pounds and also I found a bargain of Quorum aftershave balm and aftershave lotion set (vintage with Oakmoss and Tree moss), and let me tell you the aftershave balm is as strong as the lotion; is just simply awesome; then again in eBay, I got another a set of aftershave and cologne for just £11 English pounds and the set is also a vintage with Oakmoss, Tree moss and Tobacco in it. QUORUM and ARAMIS my two most beloved and used fragrances that I always wear and keep in my wardrobe without fail.
Got in a 20 ml vintage splash of this a week ago. Wow! You were right compared to the new formulation I have the vintage is deeper and pushes much more. So glad I saw the video and picked this up. Thanks again for your time.
Thank you for this! I thought I was losing my mind! Hadn't had a bottle of it in years and ordered one, got it and thought WTH?! But wasn't sure because it had been so long...you proved me right! 👍
Greetings dude. Hadn't seen your vids in a while, i don't know why... I bought Quorum and i am waiting for it, it says it'll arrive to my place in Thursday... Looking forward to that. Take care man
The aftershave is what sold me on exploring the scent past what I already had, the current formula is just okay, I never wore it until I tried that aftershave, then I tracked down the vintage. Thanks for watching as always dude !
Love that old style box pattern - Love Quorum, i think it’s a great scent and still valid. Got the old quorum edt, splash on, square bottle - and the aftershave + a spare, looks the same as it always did. Haven’t tried the new stuff. My word to describe Quorum has always been - ‘ warm ‘ , even tho it’s mossy , bit dark, bit green (don’t like green/herbal stuff much) and certainly not sweet. Not so brutal as Aramis, and not as loud as Kouros ( love Kouros - you gotta love Kouros - i’m liking that more and more) theres just something inviting in quorum that ive not noticed in other oldies. I used to wear Joop when i was young, damn it was nuclear back then too - i smelled it recently in a shop, holy crap .. its still powerful and took a couple of scrubs to get rid of it. Invasive. Sweeet, cinnamon bomb. Don’t think I’ll re buy. Great review as always , cheers 👍🥂
It smells great, fresh green and clean, modern formulation sadly is lacking some balls. I tend to use it like 4711, splash it on when I'm out the bath or shower. Shame it's not more powerful and has greater longevity. Also found something interesting on eBay it's called Captain Molyyneau, have you heard of it.
If you can get the older version it performs much better. I bought a gift set of captain Molyneux and initially it smells great but then it dries down and smells horrible so idk If I have a sour bottle or if that’s just the way it is. I have to try it again and see
Great review. I have that gift set as well and in mine there is oak moss in the aftershave and not in the cologne which is why the aftershave smells so great.
Great comparison Kelan. Very much agree that the aftershave is a better scent. Never tried the vintage but it certainly sounds like the better buy. Thumbs up 👍
Yeah I was shocked that the current aftershave was so good compared to the current edt. If you can snag a vintage bottle make sure to do so. Thank you for watching and commenting as always !
I needed to hear that! I got the newer bottle recently and was underwhelmed, actually quite let down as I'm a huge fan of the classics and had the original moons ago. You've restored my faith in the powerhouses of yore and will seek out the OG (or aftershave I guess)!
Yeah I thought the current was just so so, didn’t like the initial sweetness but the OG and current aftershave (surprisingly) are awesome. Thank you for watching and commenting dude
Nice one. Before I watch... Good job with the MrSmelly collab. That HAD to happen. Enjoyed that one a lot. I will try the edt before I jump in with the vintage. I can find it at a good price so why not. Thx. Appreciate ya Kelan
Thanks so much for watching that I had a blast making the video with mr smelly, yeah for the price quorum is a good buy for sure. Thanks for watching dude!
I use to see my uncle wearing it when I was a kid and I fell in love with it . However, now and since people feel it’s too spicy and too classic I mix it with tonka perfume and it makes a very modern combination
I have the current Quorum and I can't really complain about it at all. Got it for under $20 and performs pretty decent on me. I don't know if I like the smell enough to go for the vintage but seeing as you say they are like night and day, it might be worth looking into. I might look into getting the after shave though as that sounds like an easy option to knowing the vintage. I bought my dad the Quorum SIlver gift set because he likes cedar based fragrances and that one is also really good for less than $20.
Yes the current aftershave is really nice, if I had not have tried that I would have never tracked down the vintage edt. The current is just okay. I have never tried silver personally o hear mixed reviews
I bought the Quorum aftershave today. I bought it blind and it only cost £10 in England and I do like it. I also have Quorum silver edt which is quite a bit different to the orginal Quorum but that lasts for hours on the skin! For budget scents I think they are great.
I now decant the aftershave into a spray bottle to use and with the aeration of the atomizer is a big improvement, it seems to like being vaporized and improves coverage, plus found another bottle for 8 pounds not in a gift set, and it's the same, this is what quorum smelt like when I first smelled it in the eighties, vvvv nostalgic!
I use it daily and as you said it's a medium performer but I got the gift set 100ml aftershave and edt for 15 uk pounds so I can buy 2 and keep one at work and keep spraying all day!also been looking for a cheapy masculine summer fragrance that isn't nautica voyage, any thoughts? P.s your collection looks awesome! Have seen so many collection pictures with just bleu de chanel and aqua do gio and sauvage yadadada, but yours looks like it took a huge effort, kudos , all those deodorant sticks, sprays and balms take a lot of searching!
Thanks so much for watching and I always enjoyed getting the whole body line of a scent if possible lol. The classics are my favorites. Quorum would be a great daily driver scent for sure I think it’s perfect for that.
Since we're on the subject of green fragrances, have you tried/have an opinion on Polo (Green) Intense Cologne? I'm thinking that's my next buy as I don't have a strong green in my lineup. Thanks!
I have not tried but I would predict that it’s not green that it’s more fresh and fruity and nothing like the original. Not saying it’s bad but I just would Imagine it’s not what I would consider a green scent
So I am revisiting this video to give my review. I personally bought this out of curiosity and after seeing your video, I was really wanting to buy it. Received it and I have tried it for one day so far. I personally do not think it fits my body style or my body chemistry. I have found that colognes that have a powdery/fresh clean scent like canoe really work well with my body chemistry. This one is a little too dark for me and blends into my body. Also, the projection is not that great for me. I seem to have to reapply after two hours, and it becomes a very non-noticeable skin scent after the hour and a half mark. At that point in fragrance are usually do not rebuy or recommend it. One of the ways that I bypass poor performing colognes as I buy a travel atomizer, which I keep in my back or front pocket depending on the pants. It’s about the size of a key fob and it really helps in the re-application process when a cologne does not really perform that well. However, this cologne just does not seem to perform well enough along with Azzaro which I have also given away to a family member. I love the scent of both of those that I’ve mentioned, but to me I have found canoe and Paul Sebastian to be my go to. I have also tried Open, and one man show which I really enjoy those and I get better performance have both of those compared to this one.
I just got this one from ross, 15 bucks. It's really nice smelling, this is one of the old classics that I have never ever smelled someone else wearing. I have a question, if you could only have one, which would you choose between the modern formula of Bogart or the modern formula of Quorum? I find these two scents to be eerily similar with the soapy opening, green heart, and leathery drydown.
I bought a modern version , it’s dirt cheap and a good way to mix it up on casual weekends. I don’t think I’ll seek out a vintage but was toying with getting an aftershave
I just got a new bottle of Pino Silvestre and they reformulated it (and got rid of the pine-cone sprayer). It seems more watered down, less sharp, less fresh. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on this. I was really disappointed because I really enjoy Pino once in a while; its sharpness was part of its appeal.
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Yes, my new bottle has a removable pinecone lid but the sprayer is a traditional atomizer. I ordered this bottle from Fragrance Net a few weeks ago. It's the 125ml in the newer box. I kept thinking it was just me, but, no, the performance on this is definitely watered down and the smell has been tweaked.
Great review! I have 3 vintage bottles from different years, including one with the large round atomizer button. I don’t have any new bottles. Although Polo green is my old school favorite, Quorum is not far behind. Glad you got you hands on the older version. I am going to snag the aftershave now, since you discovered it is like the vintage edt.
Yes I’m happy I have the vintage as well it’s so much better but that current aftershave surprised me it sparked my whole interest in the scent for sure
@@manuelvikingo7767 Hi, I’m not interested in selling any of the bottles at this time. I will send you a free decant if you want, if you are in the continental U. S.
Got the same gift set, surprise! I find the aftershave much better than the edt, sometimes this happens, also see David Beckham instinct, the aftershave is really good! But this quorum was my nightime scent for a while, very calming, the edt is too much, but hey, it's cheap and really different, I feel as I have got older it's easier to wear these classics as basically I don't care what others think, you are spot on, the aftershave is much better!
Back in the late 1980's my ex wife used to buy me Quorum, unfortunately like most of the vintage frags you can still purchase its a shadow of its former self, I still have a modern bottle in my collection and do reach for it occasionally 👍
Why have you not tried vintage opium yet if you like old school this is the king I have a bottle pre-2010 and a winter fav when it is freezing outside cuts through the cold and when you warm up nothing smells so good..
I own it I just do not wear it much I feel like it’s sort of sweet, I need to give it more wear and see if I like it better. Thank you for watching and commenting sir
That’s what sold me on the scent as a whole. The current edt is just okay like i mentioned but the aftershave to me was very different and way closer to the vintage, very green!
The coniferous is so dense and green I think the cumin is the kicker in this one potent not old but classic ...Classy is always relevant so tomorrow never dies
I thought that it could be interesting to do list of scents in two versions: modern and vintage. And then compare them - wich of them are worth to buy as vintage, and wich are good in both versions. What do You think?
That is a great idea, only issue I can think of is all of the scents I have both the vintage and current of I have done videos on sometimes two videos on, (kouros, Drakkar noir) but if I acquire some other pairs I will try and make one
Love your channel, bro - glad to see it's on the RISE!!! Was curious, if you had to choose a modern day fragrance that would be most similar in nature/style to Paco Rabanne, what would it be? #pacorabanneforeva!
Thanks so much for the support dude ! That’s a tough question to find a current scent similar to the classics, I’d say maybe Colonia Club by Acqua Di Parma, that has the fresh green notes with added mint, I need to explore it more but I know I liked it when I wore it a few times. Do not own a bottle yet though. Thank you for watching and commenting as always
Hey, i hadn't commented on my actual thoughts on the fragrance. I do believe it was heavier, earthier and more animalic back in the day, less sweet as well, current has kind of a more modern tobacco scent aura. Still a good amount of smoke and animalic tones, not a compliment puller of the current day or bs like that, and that's what gives it value, if you ask me. The tobacco note of it is amazing and way better than even other tobacco notes, only Polo green has something of that quality that i have smelled, also has kind of a drydown that smells like cigarette smoke and body odor that i really enjoy, like green soap or stuff as well. Has a pretty raw leather note but anyway, good scent for like field hikes or fall, i only put this on in colder days, when it's cloudy or raining in the city. I'm currently enjoying other scents more than it, Bentley For Men and Givenchy Gentlemans both the classic and modern EDT's, and such. Greetings dude, take care
I would say take a look at the old bottle / box style and that should verify that it’s a vintage bottle and then you should be set aa far as the scent differences. My two vintage bottles are from the 90’s but I would just look for the older bottle style then it’s vintage regardless of the year it came out. I got mine on eBay after searching “vintage Quorum”
I find that the current aftershave reminds me more of the OG Quorum from way back in terms of scent profile, but obviously the aftershave isn't going to perform as good as the vintage EDT but the aftershave definitely smells leaps and bounds better than the current EDT. I do not like the current EDT at all, but I LOVE the aftershave.
I got Quorum on Saturday and I really don’t know how I feel about it lol. I definitely appreciate it but don’t think I will ever finish the 100ml bottle I bought.
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey i will give it more time. I also got the Paco Rabanne Pour Homme and hated it at first but wore it out in the sun and enjoying it now. i will definitely make my way through that bottle.
As usual, there are some points where i can agree with You, and some i can't: I disagree that Quorum is not similiar to Polo - of course it is. And it it not just similiarity of particular ingredients, but also overal feelings. Both scents were made by the same nose. Moreover - Vintage Quorum is way much better not only than today's Quorum, but even today's Polo. (i don't know vintage) I agree that vintage scent in that particular case is better than modern Quorum, You have right. And yes, reformulations do not always mean better quality.
Idk they smell completely different to me they just share some notes. Polo is better put together which I would imagine why it still costs way more. Vintage quorum is very still
whenever you can and do a review of: SANDALWOOD COLOGNE by Elizabeth Arden CELLINI by Faberge (the house of Brut) CONSUL (a very old cologne from POLAND) PRZEMYSLAWKA (from POLAND aswell) I have CONSUL, PREZEMYSLAWKA, and DERBY that are old colognes from POLAND (genuine barbershop smell); definitely you stand out with these fragrances from the normal and common sweet and aquatic colognes of today.
Bogart signature is infinitely better than quorum and Jaguar. Jaguar is good I like it and like it better than quorum. Quorum would be my least favorite of the 3
*Most “Classic Masculine Fragrances” that were powerhouses in the 70’s & 80’s have not aged well. Through reformulations they are only a whisper of their original scents. SO TRYING TO FIND A “WELL-AGED” VINTAGE IS A VERY EXPENSIVE GAMBLE!!
A nice one definitely. Check out Francesco Smalto Pour Homme if you get a chance. 1987 old school, along the lines of Polo. Use it occasionally, good stuff. 👍🏻
Have a sample of smalto pour Homme it’s like Drakkar noir infused with more leather, seems very similar to Montana black, not sure if that’s the smalto you are referring too
I graduated in 1984. Colognes were a very big part of teen culture back in the 80’s. Some guys wore polo green, others wore Beverly Hills, Drakar…etc. my two favorites were Quorum and Kouros. I’ll have to check out the aftershave! Thanks.
I'm 62,..so in the 80's when my cousin and I wore this the firstt thing I smelled was the grapefruit,..so I think in the years gone by, the citrus notes dissipated ...it was even a little harsh then,..but compared to the sweet syrup unisex crap of today,.I prefer to wear a manly scent from the 80's,..you know ?!!
Wow, an early 90s batch. Nice it didn’t spoil (gives me confidence in my large collection). Thanks for the in depth review. An 80s frag with no built-in sprayer... BS! 😆
Gotta have the built in sprayer lol this one held up, most non citrus based fragrances will hold up over time. I notice heavy citrus based fragrances will spoil faster. I do have some non citrus based ones like my vintage polo green that definitely lost the top notes but chances seem higher they last longer than citrus based ones

QUORUM and ARAMIS my two most beloved and used fragrances that I always wear and keep in my wardrobe without fail.
I enjoy my vintage and the aftershave I have a lot, aftershave I hear still has oakmoss and my vintage is from 93’ so whatever version that was
Got in a 20 ml vintage splash of this a week ago. Wow! You were right compared to the new formulation I have the vintage is deeper and pushes much more. So glad I saw the video and picked this up. Thanks again for your time.
It’s crazy the differences with this scent from vintage to current, like night and day. Glad you like it
WHERE DO YOU BUY THE VINTAGE FORMULATION ?
@@manuelvikingo7767 I got it on eBay
Does the modern aftershave outperform the modern edt in terms of longevity & projection?
Thank you for this! I thought I was losing my mind! Hadn't had a bottle of it in years and ordered one, got it and thought WTH?! But wasn't sure because it had been so long...you proved me right! 👍
Thanks so much for watching and commenting Bert !
Greetings dude. Hadn't seen your vids in a while, i don't know why... I bought Quorum and i am waiting for it, it says it'll arrive to my place in Thursday... Looking forward to that. Take care man
Welcome back Javier! Thanks for stopping by I hope you enjoy quorum
My grandpa favorite back in the 80’s.
Iconic for our generation.
That’s awesome, thank you for sharing, I bet it was beastly back in the day performance wise
This scent is one of the best ever created.great review
Yes!!
The man! Great vid, very interesting. I’m not crazy about the current formulation. Interested in the after shave though
The aftershave is what sold me on exploring the scent past what I already had, the current formula is just okay, I never wore it until I tried that aftershave, then I tracked down the vintage. Thanks for watching as always dude !
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey the pleasure is mine 👍
I have to try it again and see
I enjoy your videos very informative . Keep up the good work . thanks Vito
Hey thanks so much for watching and commenting Vito ! Glad you enjoy
Great review. I have that gift set as well and in mine there is oak moss in the aftershave and not in the cologne which is why the aftershave smells so great.
That must be it because the aftershave was so much better than the cologne ! Thank you for watching and commenting Eric
The aftershave is better than the edt in the case of this fragrance I agree, that’s what got me to revisit it
I use it daily and as you said it's a medium performer but I got the gift set 100ml aftershave and edt for 15 uk pounds so I can buy 2 and keep one at work and keep spraying all day!also been looking for a cheapy masculine summer fragrance that isn't nautica voyage, any thoughts?
This was an excellent review!
Bogart signature blows quorum out of the water vintage or current it’s not even close IMO lol
Bogart Signature is for when you're wearing a black suit and sunglasses and have to spray a bunch of guys with an uzi.
I bought a modern version , it’s dirt cheap and a good way to mix it up on casual weekends. I don’t think I’ll seek out a vintage but was toying with getting an aftershave
only channel ever that would complain about the 'sweeteness' of Quorum lolol LOVE It
I just got a new bottle of Pino Silvestre and they reformulated it (and got rid of the pine-cone sprayer). It seems more watered down, less sharp, less fresh. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on this. I was really disappointed because I really enjoy Pino once in a while; its sharpness was part of its appeal.
They got rid of the pine cone sprayer ?
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Yes, my new bottle has a removable pinecone lid but the sprayer is a traditional atomizer. I ordered this bottle from Fragrance Net a few weeks ago. It's the 125ml in the newer box. I kept thinking it was just me, but, no, the performance on this is definitely watered down and the smell has been tweaked.
What's the longevity of the aftershave? Would you reapply after a few hours?
Great review! I have 3 vintage bottles from different years, including one with the large round atomizer button. I don’t have any new bottles. Although Polo green is my old school favorite, Quorum is not far behind. Glad you got you hands on the older version. I am going to snag the aftershave now, since you discovered it is like the vintage edt.
Yes I’m happy I have the vintage as well it’s so much better but that current aftershave surprised me it sparked my whole interest in the scent for sure
HI ARE YOU WILLING TO SEL ONE BOTTLE OF YOUR VINTAGE QUORUM? Y WILL PAY THE PRICE YOU ASK
Hey Kelan, when are you going to review Aramis?
Back in the late 1980's my ex wife used to buy me Quorum, unfortunately like most of the vintage frags you can still purchase its a shadow of its former self, I still have a modern bottle in my collection and do reach for it occasionally 👍
This one is good, to me though it’s not my favorite. The aftershave is what I like the most ! But there are other classic “green scents” I prefer
"Are you kidding me?!?! " lol Great vid.
Same nose as Polo too. But I’m in. Going to buy a vintage now. Never had this one back in the day. Just the modern version.
Yeah it’s absolutely worth it when you compare it to the current form. New aftershave is great though. Thank you for watching Jay !
I got the same gift set and was disappointed but still liked the edt scent. I haven't tried the aftershave but am excited to do so now. Thanks.
That’s what sold me on the scent as a whole. The current edt is just okay like i mentioned but the aftershave to me was very different and way closer to the vintage, very green!
Man, you got to try Diavolo by Antonio Banderas. Seriously amazing. Constantly being complimented on it. And the ladies fall in love with it big time
Antonio Banderas fragrance ?? Usually I pass on celebrity scents. What’s it like?
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey if you like patchouli, leather and piney spice give it a go. It’s like Lalique Encre Noire with a hint of Fahrenheit. Tiny hint.
The coniferous is so dense and green I think the cumin is the kicker in this one potent not old but classic ...Classy is always relevant so tomorrow never dies
I agree, when it dries down it really comes alive for me at least
Didn’t know you could find the vintage formulation for that low a price. Still love the current one tbh
Yeah I don’t think it commands a super high price especially the 50ml’s
My dad use use this as his signature scent. I prefer the old formulation. Use to spray his bottle as kid all the time.
Yeah the old formulation is much better I agree ! Thank you for watching and commenting dude
Is there anyway to find the deodorant stick? If not , do you know if a deodorant close to this? Thank you 🙏
I still own a 1981 Puig Version ( Rare) The Big Boy 4.2 oz in my collection I owned it since 1982 got it 7 months after release
My all time cologne!
Greetings dude, take care
how far back do you think you have to go for the "vintage" one to be great(er)?
I would say take a look at the old bottle / box style and that should verify that it’s a vintage bottle and then you should be set aa far as the scent differences. My two vintage bottles are from the 90’s but I would just look for the older bottle style then it’s vintage regardless of the year it came out. I got mine on eBay after searching “vintage Quorum”
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey excellent. yeah they aren't too badly priced. finding reported 90s bottles for $30-40 range
I felt the same way for a long time, the aftershave is what did it for me and encouraged me to get the vintage cologne which is better in this case
(i don't know vintage)
I agree that vintage scent in that particular case is better than modern Quorum, You have right.
And yes, reformulations do not always mean better quality.
Idk they smell completely different to me they just share some notes. Polo is better put together which I would imagine why it still costs way more. Vintage quorum is very still
whenever you can and do a review of:
SANDALWOOD COLOGNE by Elizabeth Arden
CELLINI by Faberge (the house of Brut)
CONSUL (a very old cologne from POLAND)
PRZEMYSLAWKA (from POLAND aswell)
I have CONSUL, PREZEMYSLAWKA, and DERBY that are old colognes from POLAND (genuine barbershop smell); definitely you stand out with these fragrances from the normal and common sweet and aquatic colognes of today.
Ah I unfortunately do not own any of those so not sure when I will het around to reviewing them
I have the new one. Great, great fragance when you want vintage stuff.
Quorum vs Bogart signature vs Jaguar for men....? 🙂
Bogart signature is infinitely better than quorum and Jaguar. Jaguar is good I like it and like it better than quorum. Quorum would be my least favorite of the 3
This is what I'm sure can smell a 5-stars General of the Armies taking crucial decisions.
Have a sample of smalto pour Homme it’s like Drakkar noir infused with more leather, seems very similar to Montana black, not sure if that’s the smalto you are referring too
A great fragance. Antonio Puig it's said "puch", as touch, much, etc 😉
@@giloro85 yes, a spanish brand and a catalan surname, and it's said as I said...
Is this better or krizia uomo
I’d say KU is better than this
Wow, an early 90s batch.
A KLASSIK 4 SHEEZY/IF U LIKE GREEN FRAGZ I JUST KOPPED YOUNG HEARTS BY ITALIAN HOUSE BRUNO ACAMPORA/IT PUTT A SPELL ON ME/TURNED FRUM A FRIEND INTO A LOVER
Never heard of those I will have to check them out thank you for the recommendation dude !
Who is your go to person for vintage fragrances?
smells best if you have an olive skin tone ie Italian,Spanish
How does it compare to Jacques Bogart One man show
Not as good in my opinion
nice
Thank you for watching!
Have you tried out Dior Jules? Have the actual version...it could be right up your alley. Its one of my favourite masculine, herbaceous, green fragrances.
It’s funny I have been looking into that one, vintage bottles are very pricy but the current formula you can get a brand new bottle for a good price I might get one of those soon
Best selection of scents in USA is Colonial Pharmacy in Cambridge Mass
Do they have an online store ?
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey I don't know. I haven't been there in a long time.Thats where my aunt bought me the mens Lanvin in 1961. It was discontinued in 1964. Best cologne I have ever smelled . It was haunting. Ever heard of it? Maybe your grandad has.
I have a 1989 edition Quorum.
It’s a great scent but unfortunately on me it does not last long :( however, an alternative, Aqua Brava works well with me
Agua Brava seems a bit fresher I enjoy that one as well !
👍
Thank you for watching and commenting sir!
I very much regret selling off my vintage gold sprayer quorum. I eventually purchased a current bottle but IMO it was way too diluted and cleaned up. And it smells much soapier than the vintage. #smh
I've had bad luck with vintage colognes.
Okay
The current formulation is C+/B- and the vintage is an A
Absolutely agree the vintage really made me enjoy this scent way more than before
Current formulation definitely only is so-so. Too soapy. Now I see what they said was right - I should’ve gotten the after shave instead!
The aftershave is what sold me on this scent and made me look for the vintage, before that I thought it was mediocre at best
that stuff is strong. its too much . i tried to find an application for it . couldn't. i guess time moves on. liked it when i was a kid. i will say the old form passes and even surpasses some niche from today.
Modern Quorum smells a lot like modern Jules.
antonio Puig (pronunciation: putsh) not pooeeg
Worst part is I knew that and just totally botched it when I did the video and didn’t feel like redoing it 🤦🏻♂️😂. Thank you for watching and commenting dude!
Much prefer Agua Brava
by Antonio Puig.
Quorum & Aramis are two products I stay away from.
Way too strong!
Horrible smell!
Quarum I like Aramis I agree with you it’s so bad lol agua Brava is good too reminds me of Acqua Di selva
In other words, THE DRY-DOWN of most vintage fragrances is SHORT LIVED.
