- Goodwill was crazy crowded, but I stuck it out. The workers happened to be restocking and were wheeling out bins of treasures.

Your resilience is amazing Jocelyn! Have a baby, move to a new home, update an existing house and all the while look absolutely beautiful through it all, your ability to bounce back with help from Andrew and your loved ones is truly amazing! You are an inspiration to us all, you go girl
Just in case you're not aware of the fact, replacement clock faces are available from Waterford crystal for the clocks for very little, the value of the entire clock is in the crystal, not the works. So if a battery change doesn't fix the problem, all is not lost. You could also ask any modern Waterford seller, they may be able to supply you with the replacement as they sometimes have an arrangement with Waterford to replace clock faces - tbh, back when I was involved in retail the replacement clock faces were free, but that's 25 years ago, that might have changed since then... congratulations to you all on the arrival of baby Laurel, she's beautiful...
Wow, your work ethic is off the charts. You definitely give us all the boost we need to get off our butts.
You are truly amazing and one of kind
I found a glassy baby this afternoon at the thrift shop for 3.99! Soooo excited!! Love that lavender Blendo! 👍🏻💖
I am proud of the way you handled the crowded Good Will and even taking to the lady at the bins. You found some great things in this trip and I love that you always explain the things you find, why you would buy them and why you would not. Thank-you for taking us along.
20:00 Typical eggshell teaware, sometimes with lithophanes, as you say, tho I have yet to see a "naughty" one lol. ( If you find one, post it in my group!) 20:30 modern Kutani mark. 20:35 Japanese Satsuma... I cannot really see the mark but could be Shu 秀 as in Shuzan 秀山. Shu literally tranlated means "excellence" or "beauty". It would take me a while to decipher the last two. The one with lots of gilding is late Nippon to mid C era Japanese, and the "Eagle" plate is either American Chinoiserie or oriental and made for export to America, possibly post WW2 era. Congratulations on your baby girl btw. Women are amazing : )
Plate with gilding is 島村製 - Shimamura Sei - Made by Shimamura or literally translated: "Island Town Made" if you want to look it up. You're welcome :)P
That blue paperweight/pen holder is to die for! I love everything about it.
Hi Brenda
How are you today?
Wanted to tell you the copper pans you set back down, they are absolutely the best to cook with. Food don't stick and the wash up so easy. I love those pans.
Been wanting to tell you, Laurel is just absolutely perfect. She is so beautiful. Also your new home is amazing. Plus I never miss your videos.
Congratulations!!! Your baby girl is beautiful!!! The new house and the land is amazing!! I am so happy for all of you!! 💗
The flower perfume bottle is Lalique! The signature/mark is hard to see but it’s there. I sold one before 😊
This was a really good video filled with some really great finds! But, dear Jocelyn, pleas take it easy! Give your body some time to rejuvenate itself after giving birth and carrying baby laurel vfor 9 months! Happy thrifting
I’m pretty sure these videos were recorded some time ago 😊
@@jackysjournals6320 looking at the bruises I'd say just after. Congratulations and many blessings ❤
If she’s like a lot of us thrifters it calms her down and makes her feel good. ( Except when it’s crowded) lol!
Lol!
These videos are old but she posts videos that are a few weeks old that it gives the impression she shops everyday.
Her newborn is a few days old so I’m sure she spending a lot of time at home.
She's stated pre-delivery that these were pre-taped and set up to cover the post-birth absence
I always enjoy your videos so much..I learn a lot from you. You found some great things again.
Looking good,Jocelyn..looking good!👌🏻
Hi Wilhelmina
How are you today?
That double flower perfume bottle could be Lalique. I’ve seen that before. Beautiful!
Hope she sees this. I have the single one that's lalique. Hopefully she looks for a signature.
I thought exactly the same.
Those two Lucite, carved pyramids look like stylized Eiffel towers from the other side.
Hi Wendy.
How are you today?
That small wooden thing that you weren't sure what it was but did buy. I have one like it that is used to display a geode crystal.
Hi Kathy.
How are you today?
5:55 I found the same tray at the thrift store today. I couldn't believe it after seeing you pick it up yesterday. 😁🇨🇦
Great finds! My absolute favourite are the very thin tea cups. They are beautiful and survivors 🥰😍
Wonderful finds. The amber brandy snifter was magnificent! Love the glass flower perfume bottle.
I find it's so hard to film when the stores are packed! Way to hang in there! 😁
Thank you for taking us along! I hope you’re feeling well. 🌺 you look great!
Congrats to you and your growing family! You look well. 👍Take good care of everyone, especially YOU!
Always enjoy shopping with you 🙂
Good to see you out and about. That baby is adorable I bet the kids really enjoy her.
You are truly amazing when you are shopping. You allows seem to get a theme going. The lamp, candle sticks, bowl, snifter, and vase. They match beautifully. It is as if you are designing.
I just know that you meant BOWL! I do hate it when misspellings happen to me!😁
fun video. GW turned out very well and your auction finds are so fun to see
Thank you Joselyn for another pre baby video; you planned well! Also thanks for sharing the items you and Drew had bed on. I like the Waterford Clocks See Ann L. for repair info.
Pretty sure this one is actually after she had the baby.
Thank you again for showing all of your goodies and shopping!!!!😁
Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl! BLESSINGS to you and your family!
It’s very fascinating watching you pick up items I would never consider and learning how much they really are worth and why. Never disappointed. My aunt had gotten Haviland from my grandparents and my uncle dropped them all as he was bringing them to her. That was probably 50 years ago. Oops
I have a brandy snifter packed away, a gift from my in-laws It’s clear - my MIL made boozy fruit in it every year. How do people decorate with them?
You have a great eye for so many things but if I’m honest I’d be at home snuggling with that baby!!! She’s beautiful. That’s just the grandma in me. Congratulations on your sweet baby - glad you’re feeling well enough to be out & about!! Blessings to you
I watched Andrew shop he is very funnyman and did a great shop yous make a lovely couple have a great time from ann🍀🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮
The black tin coffee tray would look cute hanging on your coffee bar station at home. :)
I thought the same thing
Love shopping at Goodwill and going through boxes are the store. Please Stay Safe, Happy And Healthy. Have A Wonderful Day
I support you and Andrew both of you do an amazing job together, I've been watching your videos since you started always have awesome videos 😊 thank you both 😊
11:00 The carved wood looks like it holds one of those semiprecious stone balls. Or a crystal one. 12:51 I have that bowl sitting behind me! I bought it because it's New Jersey; one of my cousins will be after it. (I"m the child of north Jersey refugees ) 17:40 Those pagoda crystals were made in jewelry size too. I have the earrings somewhere. They also came in blue. The alexandrite is Caithness glass since it has a CC mark and it's from Scotland...and I looked up the mark to be sure. 22:28 I have that shell sitting next to me too. Vannes crystal from France. ... evil minds, I guess!
Those first plates, etc. you discovered in the goodwill were gorgeous! Wish I had been there to scoop them up. Hope Laurel is doing alright. Best wishes and love the videos! Blessings!
Beautiful finds love your thrift store shopping videos.
The cups and saucers are gorgeous!
Hi Deb from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦. Congratulations on your baby girl. She is gorgeous. I love your videos. Never miss one 🥰🥰
Am I the only one that saw the Longaberger pie plate on top of the Pfaltzgraf Naturewood plate?😁😁 That Budweiser pitcher was great!
i have the exact round tin coffee "plate" wall decor piece. Using in my kitchen decor.
Lots of fun going along with you. You always find so many treasures.
So much fun. I could not say no to those plates. I do not have a thrift store with the nice items that you find. Thanks
Hi Christine.
How are you today?
I have that same pagoda obelisk!! Mine got broken but someone did a nice job filing/sanding it down.
Wow that crystal pagoda brought back memories. My parents had one of those. Did not remember till you picked it up.
Congratulations on your new baby!!
Pretty sure someone painted flowers on the brown green pottery - sure looks like a Burley Winter.
I have that same brandy snifter. Good pick on that two handled vase.
HOW? New baby, moving and renovating and still working! You are super woman!
I loved the little framed artwork in the bin
How are you feeling Jocelyn ☺️ good I hope ,God bless your family and little baby, just take it easy ❤️ love
Not sure if they were anything but there were some cups and saucers taped together in the cart. The last time you went through the cart. I think around14:10. Peachy orange. They had the shape of the Arabia Finland cups and saucers I came across a while back. Mine were demitasse but sold comps were $25 per set.
The plates are awesome. I need a 12 step program for dish ware. LOL I love dishes.
Me too, sign me up
The Waterford clock inserts can be replaced. I received a Waterford clock as a wedding gift 25 years ago and the clock finally failed. Last month I purchased a new clock face from their website and it fit! Like new!
WOW you are an awesome superwoman back at it already!!
Great finds today!!!
I love Blendo! Just received my Aqua chip and dip bowls today in perfect condition it will go so nice with my pitcher and cups.
I looked it up after this and it is very pretty! I fell in love with some of it. Remarkably I had never seen any that I can remember. Most of the glass & ceramics I see on these channels are ones I remember from my childhood at various aunts and uncles, friends houses. Some peices I see and am amazed at prices, lol many I thought as a kid were ugly! But the Blendo is pretty!
I have a tray like the bird bowl! Love!
Gentile Glass is Jen-tile, It was made about 1.5 miles from me. It was a family and they made beautiful paperweights and they are quite well known. We used to go down the factory and watch them work. They have been closed for decades and gone. However, look up the paperweight as many are valuable. We bought some seconds, but I have 2 he made for the West Virginia Centennial in 1963. Just about a half mile from me Morgantown ends and Star City begins. There was a lot of glass making there including shades for oil lamps.
Hey neighbor. I am about an hour and a half from you. I am in Buckhannon. So proud of our amazing glass from West Virginia. Nobody did glass like WV! 💙💛
I would have bought the daisy vase
I can’t get over how cheap the lamps are at that store! Something like that would be about $10-$12 at the store near me. I wish their pricing was the same company wide.
You are so committed to your viewers. Now, go see that new baby.
If you can’t get the Waterford clock face to work they do sale replacements (I’m sure you knew that). I always feel bad for you when you have to be so clear on how you say things. Like I will take that and you clarify you mean buy or today you said I put it back and you pointed out that it was on the right row. Great video thanks!
Timestamp 1:19 your nais matched the bowl. 🤣 Second time I noticed your nails match an item you picked up.
That butterfly plate is so pretty!
Ok the Crazy Plate Lady works too!
I’m in the hospital. Blood clotting disorder. Jocelyn is the bomb.
The clear perfume bottle with flowers on front....looks a little like Lalique.
Loved the Amber Sifter? Not sure if I spelled that right., green bowl, crystal ring holder,2 tall crystal things, clear paperweight,Purple candle holder. Love the first perfume bottle😍😍😍
Hi Tracey .
How are you today?
I live right next to the town where that melamine was made. It’s Boontonware! Def good resale value and those looking in great condition
Fun video, lots of good stuff.
I knew that blue cut vase was USSR before you looked at it. My grandparents had a cranberry cut vase just like it ❤️
I wonder if that little carved wood piece holds like a crystal sphere or some other round object?
My GW just put out a whole set of Theodore Haviland Apple Bloosm. I was very tempted.
Thank you
Love the video 💕💕
Look at everything!
At 10:50, you found a Burley Winter vase very much like mine! I don't think they marked them, but the beautiful glazes are the giveaway. I hope the paint comes right off! And at 22:58, there was a wild-looking tray to the right that I'd have liked to see better.
Great finds!!
I almost went in there yesterday. Maybe ill see u there one day
Vannes is from France. Some of it is worth more than others. I had a lovely Jack in the pulpit vase that I couldn’t move so it went to the thrift store. I’m very certain you’ll have better luck.
That carved wooden thing that looks like it held something, maybe it holds a tea light
Daisy vase is georgous.
luv it all!
Great finds today
The copper pans…idk about those, but I do know that there are certain ones like those that people buy for induction stoves. They are the only kind that work on those stoves and are very expensive. One brand is I’m familiar with (daughter in law has an induction stove) is Gotham Steel. Just one 14 in pan cost $49. If you’re looking to get into cookware, maybe that’s a tiny bit of info you could use. 🤗
The blendo was beautiful
Timestamp 13:32 Nails match even better! 💅 My nails are purple and chipping. I need a good manicure.
First, congratulations! Second, that crystal animal from the auction cart looked like a hedgehog to me when you set it down. That might help.
Take care of yourself my dear!
Thanks
20:08 called eggshell porcelain !!!! They might have some value !!!
Clear with flowers was fiesta wear
I probably own the rest of that set
I want that Princess Grace dish, please list it!
TFS 💚 CLL 🧡
Timestamp 9:28 matchy match dragon (or lizard?) & your nails! lol
I think the made in Japan bowl is made of paper maché.
Those two bowls you picked up at 3.26 are known as Chance glassware made in England around the 70's. First time I have seen this glassware in a US thrift store, see a lot in my U.K. charity/thrift stores.
I see those a lot in charity shops too!
Your name means joyful, happy! It fits you.
You passed up some birds today...lol
Oh, you did get a parrot at the end.
Purple blender is my favorite followed by the lime green I think. I forget what color that blendo pitcher was that you found is that purple? No now I'm thinking it was like yellow anyway I'm with you I like the blendo
What's up!? That bowl is the Oyster and Pearl pattern of depression glass. One of my favorite patterns.
O
I’ve picked up Teleflora containers a few times. They have always sold. 🤷🏼♀️
