- After visiting Goodwill in Walkerville, I stopped at Goodwill in Frederick. I was hoping to find some treasures that I could buy and flip for a profit.

Your head bobbing rolling duck is a 1920s toy.
As a kid growing up in upstate NY in the 1950’s-1960’s, we had that exact same kitchen clock! It brought back warm and fuzzy memories….
My best friend's mom had that clock in the 70's, as well.
I had that clock in the late 70s!
@@laurameier7069 Me too! another upstate NY girl!
My aunt had that clock, too!
12:13 When Jocelyn was looking for Glassy Baby... Did anyone else find themselves LITERALLY raise your head up to look on the back of the shelf with her? 😂
The cookie jar thing is actually a Pagoda I believe, not a castle. Using that term might help find comps.
The milk glass salt and pepper are Hazel Atlas.
Joseline I'm very thankful for you. I live life vicariously through y'all. Love these shopping halls. I'm going to start a mini store w brooches tea cups vases n random jewelry. You are helping me learn I was a powerseller when i was in my 40 s . Life has made it where I must do something so thank you for your wealth of knowledge. GRAMMA KATHY
There were some Dansk bowls….on top of the petroglyph bowl
I saw that too! I was thinking grab the Dansk!!
Oh, no! Dansk usually sells pretty well, too.
I saw them , too.
Ha... The first jug you picked up...I thought the sticker on it was Beavis and Butt-head! 🤣🤣🤣 I really do need an eye test! Xxxxxx
The castle is a Royal Sealy.
Yes you give some of us anxiety at times!! LOL!!!!! 😂😂❤️❤️❤️👍
Our goodwill stores here in Salem, Va and surrounding area sucks. The stores hold all the good items and put those items on their web page to sell. I refuse to shop at Goodwill for that reason and the CEO is getting rich off donated items.
I agree. I don't donate anything to them for that reason, and because I don't believe they really help very many people. Also, their prices have become unreasonable in this economy. I will go in one maybe once or twice a year, at most. Shopping for resale like Jocelyn would be different and I would probably go there more often.
You should have picked up that glass motorcycle, a lot of people like things unique in glass like that. You need to put a blanket of some sort in the bottom of your cart.
Jocelyn, I hope to meet you one day to thank you for teaching me what to look for at Goodwill and the other stores. You have been a wealth of knowledge for all of us
Some of the items you looked at were my grandparents! We cleaned their house out and donated whatever the family didn’t take to Walkersville Goodwill. ♥️ I love your videos!!
How cool
That’s super cool!
That is so cool! I'm glad their treasures will now be treasured by others. Must have been exciting to see their stuff in the video. 🥰🤗
That’s really cool!
The Colts left Baltimore in 1984 and there are collectors for that stuff.
The stack of white bowls with the navy stripe on the rims are Dansk, Christianhaven Blue pattern. It was the everyday china that I registered for when I got married in 1993.
I pick up stainless steel mixing bowls. They’re great! They don’t break!😎 if you have kids or teens who like to help in the kitchen, they’re a must have!
I'm happy to see you putting things back. Given the economy I agree being sure about things is better right now.
La Rochere on those clear glasses with the interesting design… high end!
I think Andrew is going to get a kick out of seeing that rolling duck.
Watch for Le Creuset skillets, pots pans, painted cast iron dutch oven, casserole dishes. Look them up. They are a huge bolo.
I enjoy all of your videos. I wish I had your eye for what is valuable and what isn’t. Your amazing (and beautiful)
I adore that lamp! I even have the missing crystals in my jewelry supplies, lol. 😁
Roly poly football glasses can go for some money depending on the team...from the 70's
That duck was adorable! I can’t wait to see it in a SOLD video!!
that wire and bead gecko, sells for around $40-$50. And that silly bobbing-head bird! ...how fun!
That kitchen clock was in my mom's kitchen in the late 60's...great memories in that home.
Boy, I'm late to this one! Love Emile Henry. Such good quality, the French really know what they are doing when it comes to cookware. A tip here, it's pronounced A meeel On ree . There's your French lesson for the day. 😄
Nice haul, Jocelyn. I love that little wooden duck. He's so cute. Looks like he has some age.
Nice haul! That lamp is wonderful, would like to see it lit up🌈
The pink Teleflora vase with the hummingbird is beautiful. I would purchase that from you for sure. 😊
I have my grandparents milk glass salt and pepper shakers they had when my mom was little. I use them every day 🥰
Your intuition served you well. Those glass bowls were definitely NOT Finnish! Iittala's "Ultima Thule" pattern has similar vertical grooving on the sides, but underneath they are covered with little round bumps and stand on little "feet." I suspect the ones you grabbed- and put back- were Indiana glass.
Emile Henry is a bit of a high end brand, and usually sells pretty well.
I love the milk glass S&P shakers!! 💗
I go to that GW location frequently and have never seen anything like those there! I’m drawn to kitschy stuff though so of course it eludes me lol
Like you I like that lamp!!! And yep the duck! Lol
Lots of goodies, and I love the little wooden bird too!
Lisa
Awesome trip Jocelyn learn so much from your videos Thank You!
Thanks for taking us along on your shopping trip. Love the little duck and the antique - look lamp, so pretty.
Look up Emile Henry Dutch ovens, they have a very distinctive handle on the lid and it looked like one to the right of where you picked up the copper lid. They are big and heavy but people love them!
LOVE your videos. I have to watch them. Your knowledge is helpful.
OMG, I can't believe you passed up the Baltimore Colts1970s etched glasses. They are so collectible!
Oregon Trail!!!??? Nooooooo!!! Not the dysentery!! Gosh how I loved that game!!! 😂 🤣
My Great Great Grandmother died on The Oregon Trail. Not of dysentery however.
My favorite was the little wood duck the two mice in a chair and the blue glass with the moon on it you put back
The blue glass with the moon on it could be used as a VASE I thought it was really pretty I had never seen one before
GOOD VIDEO
I was thinking the same exact thing! That it could be used as a vase.
Omg I’m so jealous of those milk glass shakers!!! Great find!
Hi Jocelyn. I wanted to share a bit..many times you have picked up dishes believing them to be ashtrays, they may also be considered chopstick rests.
I love watching your shopping excursions and think you are Awesome for showing us cost and sold. You have such a great eye and contain a wealth of knowledge! 💐
I love the yellow piece. Oh and the yellow table too. It’s a happy colour.
that cobalt glass is gorgeous with a votive candle in it!
When you was looking at the pots and pans, I heard 2 ladies talking up a storm..I immediately thought..hey I'm trying to listen to the CLL..lol
Great video! I do love milk glass. My grandmother had a huge collection.
I am probably the only one - when she say “Our total spend for today was… “ I always quickly guess how much the total was…” lol
Me too!
@@lisayenzer363 maybe it’s because I can’t seem to walk out under $100 lol
What great finds. Always enjoy seeing what you find at the Goodwill. Please Stay Safe, Happy And Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
The wooden duck is my favorite!
I found some treasures at my Goodwill today - thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks so much Jocelyn ❤️
Nice haul! Love the Emile Henry baking dish and the duck. At the first GW when you were at the cup/saucers, there was a Longaberger mug. I have had to buy replacement items for my dishes, and they go for a pretty decent price. Love your videos!
Love your channel have learned so much since watching. The baby is beautiful. Congratulations
Agree the red vase is very stunning simply gourges, the yellow handkerchief glass is very pretty .The two little mice kissing piggy bank is so adorable. Awesome treasure hunting 💕 That you for sharing your story looking forward to seeing your next adventure for Treasure Hunting 💕
“Matchey Match” I love when you say that! Lol! Love the red vase, covered wagon, moon and star cup😍,Vintage salt and pepper, wooden duck. I have a couple of those girl knock off hummels. Like the yellow vase.
I had a set of 4 of the blue/moon glasses years ago. I purchased them at TJ Maxx for $2.99 each. I loved them and received so many compliments. I definitely would have bid on just the 1 for old times sake! 💙
Fun video. I too like the lamp. Great when you can hit a couple stores and score
Definitely keeping eyes peeled for the milk glass S&P set!
You're not alone! LOL!
I love King's Crown. It makes a stunning Christmas table. I would've bought those for myself as backups.😉
Yes!!!! My night is made!
My parents had the Kings Crown glasses. So I inherited a few and bought a few. So pretty!
Aloha! I for sure would have bought the glass Harley...don’t see that everyday! Lalalove you❣️🥰
That's two Harleys (motorcycles) in two videos. Must be a sign. Lol.
Great finds today
Love that duck
That duck is sooo cute!
Love seeing what you find. Keep it up.
I really enjoyed your thrifting on this video. It was refreshing to see that you put items back rather than risk your investment money. 👍🏼
I liked the elephant bookends but I agree they were priced too high. I thought they would fit the jungle theme in my grandson's room.
(Sorry, new grandma here.)
Great to see you
What a trooper! Go Joseline!
I have some of those Bark appearance Glasses taking forever to sale... But I'm happy to see you picked up the bowls!! I don't feel so bad now lol
Yes the Emil Henry is a very good cook and bake ware. French
First of all I want to say I’m a big fan and I’m kind of obsessed with watching your videos! Secondly, I’m pretty sure that clear glass piece with the satin finish cabbage leaves (at 17:15) is Viking Glass and some of their satin finish pieces like that can be worth a lot.
Oh I gotta have the wagon planter!! I love it!
I neeeeeeed those salt and pepper milk glass shakers 😭😭
It is Kings Crown, that pattern was made for years and years.
Lol....when you said your cart gives us viewers anxiety, I shouted OMG !!! 😂
Thanks as always 👍🏻🇬🇧
I get emails everyday from stores Kohls, Belks, target, anyway I can’t remember which one but they used Juliets’ “matchy match”!!! I noticed right away!😳😂😏
I’ve never seen all the cups and glasses placed upside down...that seems like a pain. 🤷♀️ mahalo for the videos...much aloha❣️
Whoot whoot! I'm ready!
Those bowls definitely appear to be Indiana Glass...I have the large 9" bowl in the same shape, style and pattern with the original sticker on it...says the pattern is Glacier...not sure about the smaller bowls, but the larger ones are worth the pick up for the right price! 😊
I have the gaudy lamp 😂 got it at A Fenton outlet in 80-90’. Etsy had a pair of them for 749.00. Boudoir lamp.
That lamp is so me. 😆
I bought the Hazel Atlas milk glass salt shaker at a little shop in 1969! I was looking for the pepper for so many years. Finally went online not too long ago and found it’s mate. Can’t remember how much I paid for that one now, but the Salt Shaker was 25¢ back when. Really the start of my collecting.
I go down the isles one way, then back through going the other way. Things look different and more noticible!
I have quite a few Kings Crown glasses, plates, and candlesticks that belonged to my grandmother from back in the 1950s.
Nice score on the Hazel Atlas Shakers!!
I had that octagon clock growing up and I want one so bad for my own home!!
I love your hair and I loved what you picked up
Keep an eye out for a libbys cobalt blue moon and stars mug.... the sell well like upwards of $30 plus
But the gaudy lamp!! 💞💞💞
The Longaberger mug ☕️
Oregon trail…oh the memories
IN cookware you should also look for the copper bottomed stainless steel Revere ware pots and pans in good condition.
❤🦆! Had a fellow dealer ask me why Haegar was suddenly so popular and I told him to check out your channel! Bolo Van Briggle when you are in the antique malls, please.
That's crazy, I just picked up the bark pitcher, mugs, and large serving plate. I am just starting to pick up things for reselling BUT I don't even know where to start on ebay. I have recently found som2 really amazing art glass, and even a blown glass wine glass type thing possibly a margarita glass, that has a very beautiful parrot blown into the stem. Very detailed. I believe it is murano, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere.
I often wonder if the people who donate watch your videos, and have regret when they find out their worth!
