- I visited Goodwill of Chambersburg hoping to find something to buy and flip for a profit. It's always hit or miss, so thankfully there is another thrift store right next door.

Someone who crochets can take the fringe and last row unraveled to replace the foam, then recrochet it back and replace fringe. I could do it for you. Don't know how much postage would take away from profit. Would do it for free.
I agree.
I can repair most things that need to be fixed that have been crocheted.
You crack me up = "I don't know what this is or what it does but it looks interesting, so I am going to get it" I totally do this - if the price is right - I research it and learn something new - love it!
Omg you flashed on the eyeballs I literally jumped back anms I almost chocked on my breakfast. Lol 😆 those eyeballs aren't normal 🤣 😂 😅
That smaller thrift store looks fun! And the lady “coughing up a lung”! 😂🤣😂🤣
For what it's worth (no pun intended!) that Rae Dunn mug said Ocracoke on its other side. Ocracoke Island is a pretty well known part of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Only accessible by ferry, full of history. For one thing, Blackbeard met his end there in 1718. (No I don't work for the tourist bureau!) Zillie's is a wine and beer market on the island.
I've been there. It's interesting to tour.
Daufuskie is also an interesting island off of Hilton Head. Can only access by boat & helicopters. The history of the Gullah people is amazing.
The exclamation point goes AFTER the parentheses, not inside it
@@carltonthepug An exclamation point is placed inside the parentheses when it applies to the words inside the parentheses. That is the case in both instances where I used parentheses in my comment. "Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?"
@@carltonthepug
Parentheses
Put the exclamation point inside the parentheses when it applies to the words inside the parentheses.
I love those Batik platters. Just an FYI Batik is a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to the whole cloth. This technique originated from the island of Java, Indonesia.
We made Batik curtains when I was in elementary school. I love the look of style. It had always stuck with me.
I would have bought those for personal use, if nothing else. :)
That doll has seen things; she’s haunted! 👻 😧
The prices were more but from this side it appeared the quality was there in larger amount of their stock. Clean, reasonable prices, good quality and nice customer service all in one place. I loved it.
Thanks for taking me along. Happy days to you and yours!!!!💙🦋
With the pillows, there will be at least one edge that is whip stitched together and should be easy to take apart.
That "creepy-eyed" Doll stared right in to my soull..Yikes!😝😂
Love the Stangl plates. Country Garden is my favorite pattern.
Cyrillic writing says "flower tea"
Zillies is a wine and beer market. The mug you looked at peace love zillies, sells for 24.99 and almost always sold out, out of stock.
Oh my goodness. The dolls eyes were super creepy. So glad you left her behind.
The green pair of ceramic ‘things’ could be sash window stops. You put them under sash windows, one at each side and it prevents the sash window from closing entirely to allow air flow…or as others have said, they could be plant risers and one is missing! 😄
Yay on saying Kennesaw, GA correctly (so many say it wrong 😏). There is some Civil War history here that Andrew might enjoy. Kennesaw is home of “The General”
I love how your goodwill is organized by color!
Those green pottery things are for holding garden pots/planters to elevate them, and you need at least three of them if not four depending on the size of your planter. Made in China.
Thanks Jocelyn for the trip.always fun to go shopping with you.
Those pillows can be taken apart, take the fringe on one side off, slip out old pillow, then slip in new pillow and reattach old fringe. Oh did I say don’t cut fringe, it should come apart real easy, save and reuse.
3:15 When Jocelyn said, "My gosh, her eyeballs. That's not normal" I cracked up. Something about the way she said it put me right over the edge - glad I wasn't drinking something at the time or it would have been spit across the room. I would have bought the doll and displayed it in my living room just to freak people out. 😱
Would make a great Halloween decoration! Give it a black dress and some fangs! 😂
I agree! Holy moly! And I LOVE dolls! I still have the ones from when I was a child in the 1950s, plus others I've picked up along the way; but THAT'S one even I wouldn't want! And that's saying a lot. Creepy creepy creepy!😳
Those boots you got Juliet are super adorable ! And Timberland boots are excellent quality. I have a pair that I've had for about 3 years now and they're still in great condition.
Omg that doll scared the bajesus outta me lol. Her eyes! Nope, no thanks she is possessed. Haha
oh I really liked seeing that second store. Although a little pricer it was nice and clean, and had interesting things. Thanks for sharing that with us. Stay well to you and yours.
OMGosh Jocelyn!! I backed up from my phone when you brought in that crazy doll eyes 👀🫣
Oh dear, that doll just made me squeak. I am not a squeaker!
I wonder if those 2 ceramic mystery things are meant to go under ceramic pots for decorative support - sometimes they come with big pots in 3's however they are notorious for breaking.
I agree that doll is creepy.
I agree, flower pot feet but typically, you need three of them
I have that exact style under my little maple tree on my deck. Yes, you need 3 to balance the pot. They give the plant air under the pot so you can water without it sitting in a puddle.
Aren't they bookends? That's my guess (especially as they look to be made of heavy marble).
They are definitely pot feet and, yes, they are sold in sets of three. I have three sets exactly like these. They are quite nice ones, made in Italy. Unfortunately two won't do you much good.
the green pieces are feet for a planter - there is probably a third one somewhere
The doll was freaky! Loved it when you daid
"Thats not normal!" (It may just give me nightmares!)
The solid reddish colored tea pot is usually marked USA on the bottom and is older Shawnee pottery
Your poor arm bruised from the IV. Live watching you! Take care.
I’ve noticed that every video and wanted to comment on that. Thanks for doing that for me😂😂. I was a Labor and Delivery nurse for 18 years. Someone missed that vein and blew it.
It said Floral tea in writing grammar used before Russian revolution 1917 on the red tin
Interesting piece but I don't this it was that old. But anything is possible.
Why? Why? The eyes! The horror!
Look forward shopping with you all the time.
Thank you!
You made me laugh so hard with your comments about the doll’s eyes. Granted-creepy…but your tone and comments were hilarious.
Lol,”That’s not normal”
Poor doll has pink eye. She needs to go to the doctor. Lol
I really like to shop at the new life thrift store! Fun to see you at a different spot!
The tea pot you picked up and moved to get to the light in back is very collectable in TN
I don’t understand it but crazy as it may seem, the Royal Vienna Collection doll with the pink eyes can sell up to $59!!! She sure is creepy though!
The rest of your haul is great as usual! Thank you
Both Target and Amazon advertise replacement Starbucks lids
I really enjoy your videos. I do agree about the eyes on the doll, very creepy! I also can relate to buying the children the glass animals, one of my childhood pasttimes. You and Andrew seem like such a cute and well matched couple. My very best wishes on the new baby's birth and good health to you all😊
On small metal box sign on russian « flowers tеа» , I think this box 1960 - 1970, may be early
I would have gotten those 1984 Winter Olympics plates. I’ve actually been there at those Olympics in Sarajevo. :)
The doll reminds me of my trick dwarf bunny. They have the same color of eyes
That large plate at 6:18 was 😍 I was hoping you'd resell that one!
The two olive green ceramic things are pot feet- usually you get them in sets of 3 or 4 to lift up the big ceramic pots so they can drain - no idea what they resale for, at garden shops they used to be cheap but now can be kind of pricey
Interesting!! Thank you.
Thanks Joselyn for the trips to GW and the Mennonite thrift store. Always interesting to see new stores. Especially the one having baby contacts in concerning eyes.
The ceramic bits are to lift planters! Usually they come in a set of three for balance.
the pillows would not be hard for a crocheter to fix
I think that the English translation of the words on the lovely Russian (tea tin) is “flower tea.”
too bad about those rose pillows. I love them!
I find Starbucks lids in the bins. I take them off broken ceramics and just hang on to them until I find something I want that needs a lid
11:18 Sweetouchne tea tin looks like, but in Russian. It shows up here at Passover, and the English language tins sell handily. No clue about the Cyrillic ones, but it might be a score.
I liked the second store. Cute stuff
The old tin with Cyrillic letters says "Flower tea" in old Cyrillic
U made me laugh. . about the doll♥️♥️♥️🤣🤣🤣✌️
Did Frederick MD goodwill . Small but very nice workers and neat
The Royal Vienna doll is by Lloyd Middleton and the purple eyed ones are worth decent money. Can’t believe it’s still there! There are sold examples you can check.
I checked the solds as well. They're pricey.
Yeah that would be a hard pass.for me. 😳
Love your videos, those boots are really cute ❤️
My father brought me Japanese shoes when he returned from Japan. I did walk in them. Maybe the fringe could be removed to remove the inside pillow and replace it.
I stop at this goodwill weekly definitely a hit or miss! Waynesboro opened a larger goodwill you will have to check it out sometime!
The 25 is in reference to a 25th anniversary, although teal is an odd color - usually it's silver i- might be why it was sort of written in silver.
Thank you. Another great trip. Loved seeing the baby.
8:04 Zillie's is at Ocracoke Island
Hello dear lady, so glad to see. I'm happy to hear your sweet laugh n it brings memories of my younger year. Big hugs to you all. Gramma Kathy
Amazon has replacement lids.
I laughed when I saw that doll and heard your comment! yes, she was scary! I wouldn't want that thing sitting in my bedroom at night
At 11:16 it is a A Sweet-touch-nee tea tin. It is a Russian Tea very big with the Jewish people in the US in the early to mid 1900s. They sell the English tea in cardboard boxes today. You can find the English Tea tins. They look like treasure chests.
I just did a donation the other day to that goodwill! Receiving staff were very nice!
Morning Joycelyn that was one creepy doll lv Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love wall pockets
At 14:13, the red teapot DID have a name on the bottom! It was only visible when you tipped it just the right way. I can't stop the video accurately enough to read it, but it looked like it would be legible in person.
I just about cried every time u would pick something up that was 💙 blue and put it back down. I'm doing my living over and my color is blue. I would have bought the blue bowl at the beginning 😄
Check out the Greeencastle goodwill, its smaller but there is sometimes a diamond in the rough!
The eyes of that doll were assuring me, from the other side of the screen, that my body will never be found.
I enjoy all your video's but I miss watching you and your young'uns shopping together. They were just plain fun!!
They are in school and Jocelyn doesn't shop at the weekend. Maybe we get to see more of them when school shuts for the summer🌞
Those wooden sandals are what Geisha’s wear.
You left two beautiful candlesticks that were next to the burgundy teapot I think they are german blue and white
Idk what that doll is worth, she would stay right where she is and find someone else to haunt…..
The metal tea box says" Floral tea"
I love shopping along with you. I always learn so much!!
Lots of cute treasure.cute shoes stay safe driving , enjoy your milk shake .
That poor doll looked profoundly disappointed with life.
I believe that pottery oil lamp was made by “The Potters Mark” they were a local (to me) Christian family run pottery company popular in the 80’s and 90’s. I have found a few of their pieces in our thrift stores. They don’t sell for too much.
I am am actually catching this as it is posted! Love your videos
Bearington bears! I LIVE in Kennesaw, GA LOL
That doll scared me!!
My daughter has eye color that changes with her mood and the clothes colors she's wearing. Her eyes actually do change to lavendar!! He daughter has the same eyes... they inherited it from me!!
But that doll looked a bit freaky!
Love your Videos! You just keep them coming! God Bless in ALL You Do!!!
Omg that doll is so creepy, it would give me nightmares xx
I know that milk glass doesn't always sell well online, but milk glass lamp shades, like the hobnail ones in the Goodwill, always sell for me. I think it's because people break the one on their lamp at home and need a replacement. 😉
What a shame about those lovely crochet cushions. To put that much work into them and not place the foam in a cotton liner. Or choose a different inner altogether.
great video..enjoyed seeing the amish run thrift store.❤
Those two things are probably from Israel. You put them by the door with a prayer in them. I have one but it has a slide plate over it. Just an idea.
omg!!! The burgundy tea pot is a Rosette pattern by Shawnee Pottery, circa 1940s! I know this because I have the exact same one for sale at my Vintage Yard Sale this weekend, lol! That one you looked at is in better condition than mine.
I have a creamed colored one!
I wanted the lil pots behind the teapot! Just what I’ve been looking for to put small plants in. Can you go back and beam them over? 😉
You are funny. Love your videos
Yay!!! My fave reseller🧡🧡🧡🧡
I can't unsee that dolls eyes
Just to help: Glassybaby votives have a clear base, and a little symbol on said base that looks like three tentacles
She looks because otherwise there are a bunch of people in the comments complaining that she missed a glassy baby on the shelf or something else for that matter😉
@@rikkemeek1506 Why are they so sought after? Never heard of them before watching Jocelyn. Cheers from Nelson, New Zealand 🇳🇿
Heck, that doll 😱....🤣
Oh my gosh…THAT DOLL! 😳😂🤦♀️🤷♀️🤣🚫
