- I'm back at Goodwill! They were restocking as I was shopping and I found so many treasures today, my cart was stacked full!!!
Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
Join me as I hit Goodwill for a Saturday morning shop. The store was busy but I managed to find piles of treasure, and even some items worth over $100! Learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf and why. I found a Jon Pust Inuit Bear Sculpture, an 17" Triton Shell, two Wade Gluggle Jugs and an Anchor Hocking Moonstone Dish!!! I found a mushroom cookie jar without a lid and I use it as a planter and it is so adorable so you can get that cookie jar with a small chip on the top because when you put a plant in there it will cover it up and you can still enjoy it!!!
Thats a lovely idea Mary, thank you so much for the great suggestion! As you have probably seen in my videos, if I find a reallybeautiful piece, I will get it even if its chipped or cracked.... for me a little damage just adds to the character and history of the piece! 😊💕

Hello Tiffany, I am a professional seashell collector. I have many rare, expensive and unusual seashells. I would never give a Trumpet seashell to a Goodwill store. I paid 100 dollars for mine. Take care and luck on your new home. Trudy in PA
Do you know how to tell a real seashell from the ocean, from a shell that is man-made and are sold in souvenir shops ?

You’re gonna love this… I always think you’re going to pick up the bright flowered item that my eye is drawn to but you push it out of the way and grab a little cup or a cookie plate that I’d never have even noticed… crazy!
That blue recycled jar with the lid is a fire and ice piece I am sure of it. It’s worth a few hundred bucks I do believe. I could be wrong but I do not believe I am (:

Hello! I am sure you have probably discovered this by now- but just in case you haven't... It looks like all 3 pieces of recycled glass you found are Fire and Light. They seem to be more scarce pieces too. Plaza Design- from what I know- was a furniture/interiors store in Arcata, California that sold Fire and Light. (Fire and light was made in Arcata.) It looks like you have what F&L called a footed jar, puka bowl and possibly a candy dish? All the best to you!
I think the purple fire and light dish looks almost like it has a boa constrictor snake pattern to it
Oh wow I used to live not to far from Arcata,CA. Sure wish I had know about the Fire & Ice @ their store Bummer! Do you know if they were still open in the 90's? We lived further up North but went to Arcata at least once a month.
My goodness, you really scored on this haul! Even your supervisor was impressed; he especially loved the elephant vases.

Saturday was my wedding anniversary. Hubby is supportive of me trying to start a resale business. He has watched you and Danni with me, and while driving around he said “let’s go thrifting”. So we did 😂
I saw a couple of clear glass pieces you passed over that looked like Waterford & I forget the other maker. A lot of those are around $75 or more. Some of those are worth quite a bit more. I didn't see the very rare pieces, but if you find them, some can be worth several hundred or even thousands, if you can find them.

Love your videos. I only discovered thrifting when I came Stateside. I found a lovely Weller pottery vase at my local GW yesterday for $2.70. Thrifting is addicting!

Congratulations on the new house! You had an amazing day thrifting on this trip. Fire and light, that amazing shell and those wonderful elephant vases. I loved the tiny wade guggle pieces. I have a Shreve and Low gurgle fish pitcher. He is green and really big. He was a wedding gift in 1987 from my dads career long secretary. She became family and it was quite a nice gift. I still love it. Great video today and love ur very calm voice. Thanks for sharing.

Our Siamese gets into everything, drawers, doors and even pressed the emergency button to call for HELP on our First Alert!!!
I had to put baby locks on my drawers and cabinets because of my little looters! This is the third kind I've used because they figured out the others! I love them dearly despite their naughty antics.
I have a male Siamese Lynx point & boy he is so smart. He figures out things so quick. Love watching this mind work. He ( Joey) gets into everything & caught him taking his paws & pushing off all the things he could on my nightstand. Little Booger. Also saw him pushing my bed remote to make it light up. I have to get a nightstand with doors now. My Russian Blue is a pickle too. She always wants to see what we are doing. She acts like a dog and follows us all over the house. Rides on our shoulder too. Greets my hubby at the door every day when he comes home from work.

The wooden round box with magnet lid is a salt box. I have one just like it. I bought it from Ikea.

The haul today was magnificent!!! The base of the cobalt recycled dish looks just like FIRE AND LIGHT!!! YAY!!! What a find 💕. The shell is my favorite of your finds. I collect shells.
The small porcelain cup at 13:55 with the foil label you couldn't read was a 1960s Irice piece (from a dresser set). I have the lipstick, perfume, and earring holders to a similar set (but mine has pink roses).

Ziggy is adorable. (I could hear her purring.) I love the huge triton shell you found. I have an 11" one on my fireplace mantel.

As I watch you, you picked up a wooden trinket box & the lid swings open & close. I have a set I bought six months ago. On one it says salt & the second is darker than the salt one & I put salt & pepper in them. Also on Amazon, I bought a sack of small wooded spoons that I use with the salt & pepper boxes.

I can’t believe what you can get in the op shops in USA and the prices! A cheap nasty single wine glass sells for minimum of $1 in Australia, that triton shell would be behind glass and have at least $50 on it!

Tiffany the plastic flap on the front compartment of the cart can be pulled forward so items won’t fall through 👍👍 people keep it down when they sit small kids in the cart in that part.

16:11 - up the back, two Holmgaard decanters, they can sell for good money! Sometimes they're missing the stickers but are easy to spot for their stoppers, a cork topped with a metal cup and ring pull.
I am always surprised that your cats behave so well. Every cat I have ever had (well over 30 in my life) would either actively nudge items off a shelf, or sprawl out so they would get "accidentally " knocked off the surface. We call this a " violation of the space agreement".
That's hysterical and mine do the same. Great phrase for it. I'm going to use that. Lol

Scooby do lunch box seen online being sold for $41.99. Heck I would pay $50.00.
I get so nervous with cat passing by. I keep thinking he will accidentally knock over one of the very sensitive items😮. Also, many people are allergic to kitty's, just in case a kitty hair would be on purchased item by someone allergic -just a kind fyi.
Lastly I'm loving the shell ( I use to collect them) and the scooby do lunch box.

I understand that some things sell better in pairs…but a currently popular thing to do is to mix three different clear glass, three different silver, etc. items as a set! I bet you could put together those and sell a trio with lots of the unique items you find! (They are even offering five patterns of flatware or silver as a place setting!) I like the fact that you picked up the wooden candlestick that “is similar” to one you have already!

I live in SE Portland now, in a gentrified area, but very close by I've heard the sound of gunshots, etc. That was unheard of back in the day. I have that strobing lights Christmas tree. I love it every year. I broke off the star at the top and glued it back on.
K so why is it that she finds all this good stuff and why are Vegas goodwills sooo cheap? I go into the goodwill near me and it’s straight up cheap stuff at ridiculous prices.
Your green elephant vases are called Celadon pottery.
Here’s a tip to check for chips on crystal or ceramics, close your eyes and rub your hand carefully all over the pieces. Your eyes will miss some chips & cracks.
