God it always blows me away how little hip turn he has with that huge shoulder turn, crazy
That will get it done!
I love his position half way on down swing
gallary are trusting.
Powerhouse off the tee
Bruh all y’all hating on Brooks... he got into the game because of Tiger. He’s only 30 and has plenty of time to be one of the greats
I'm not hating on him. I'm hopeful. He's got a lot of talent
What are you talking about? Y’all hating on brooks? Who the f*ck is hating on Brooks?
He is one of the greats.
Guy almost won 3 back to back to back US opens, and people are ragging on him. What a joke. As bad as the commentary on the Golf channel. One week any guy is the best and greatest ever, and the next week, the same player is terrible. Brandel Chamblee wannabes I guess in the comments.
The beaten ball is a happy person
One of the greatest of the 21st century
Juice Kopkea!
USGA? No, USDA ..
.. Prime Beef
Awesome haha
He's aiming left because he's going over the trees to cut the corner, good god. That would be a Bubba fade (or slice) aiming that far off.
Ian Hamilton looks to me like he’s going right over that tree line and slightly drawing it... the commentator in the video says he “loves to fade the ball; you can see here.” Do you think draw?
@@gastranaoogle it's so hard to tell exactly, but, to me it looks like it has very slight fade spin on it. However, he is still aiming that far left to cut the corner not to compensate for the fade spin. Go find him playing a straight hole on RUclips and you will see that it almost looks like he's aiming right down the middle to play his fate. That's because he only Fades it like 5 yards.
@@KarlsCracklingCottonMouth If he is a fade player; it would be only wise to take that line on a dog leg left; less of a chance to mis hit and then the hole becomes longer by bad position due to mishit
How do you bow the left wrist like that and does that add distance?
It’s not so much that it adds distance, but it allows guys with neutral grips to really square up the club face when hitting a cut. DJ, Brooks, Rahmbo, Collin.... they’re all cutters. They all use less than strong grips (Collin and Jon especially). Obviously you don’t need a neutral grip or bowed wrist to cut it. Rory earlier in his career hit a beautiful power fade that was one of his go to shots off the tee. But these guys make it so much more efficient just aiming left and knowing the ball isn’t gonna turn over because of their grip strength.
Brooks will win at least 10 majors
He definitely has the talent. We will see
I say 7 or 8
*clever comment*
Sure are a lot of jealous haters in here. SMFH. Get a life and quit hating on him.
Workout
No one in this century will even come close to what tiger and nicklaus achieved... So for the love of truth stop comparing people to woods nicklaus PLEASE STOP!
True. But comparing Tiger to Jack...that's an arguement I can have for hours. But I am open to LOGICAL AND STATISTICAL arguements only.
Koepka, like him or not, has the best swing and mental game in golf. How else does someone who doesn't practice, doesn't fiddle with his swing, swings with full confidence show up in every major? Bowed left wrist and linebacker physique means he can just go out and play. If he had a better short game, he would be Tiger 2000 every time he tees it up.
lol
Knee breaker swing, all arms.
Pshhh I can do that easily
Proof tho?
First
He is an anomaly. He can't win a Players Championship or a Dell WGC matchplay or an Arnold Palmer Invitational. He wins the Phoenix open and a Tournament in Korea and 4 majors.
dudes a big game hunter
pete mama he will win lots more it’s called concentrated on majors
Paul Letchworth god among men
He just won a WGC event.
It's more than you've won bro. Show me your PGA trophies
Club face square half way back, at top, half way down??? Ahahaha! This guy is a swing expert? Koepka's clubface is shut/closed in all the positions nearly like Dustin Johnson does. Koepka only square the clubface just before the ball on the way down and at impact. BTW - SQUARE Clubface=Toe straight up in the air vertical half way back.
The club face is square the whole time, dustin also said this himself amd it makes sense... Theres very little to no manipulation of the club face with their swings
_"BTW - SQUARE Clubface=Toe straight up in the air vertical half way back."_
Square to what? Toe up half way back is near 90 degrees open to it's path.
@@whetedge he keeps the club faces square to his target throughout his whole swing, he has very little club face manipulation in his swing/takeaway to top position, that's why the wrist bows like dj. Its staying square the whole time
@@soxbstrong5694
There's so much misinformation about a "square clubface", and "square to the target" does nothing to clear things up. Square to the target, literally, would mean the club face is facing the target throughout the swing. That's why I use "Square to it's path", which is what I assume you mean. Koepka, while much less open than most, is not square to path. Note from the top, his hosel is leading the motion initially; that's open to path. He does however, get the face back to square to path earlier than most in the downswing.
A lot of problems with that swing. A lot of wrist manipulation
Hosoi Archives yea you’re so right. He’s got too much going on this guy will never be a winner
How long you been in the pga bruh lol
@@JalenHurtsGOATed he can win but the swing is flawed . watch lee comeaux for a pure golf swing
You goofs talking about this guy having a flawed swing probably can’t break triple digits on a golf course.
@@swiftchopper4556 Ok let's sum this up real quick. His swing wins; he's the current #1 on tour, but his swing is flawed. What does that say about the rest of the field? They aren't #1 so they just must be casual weekend hacks right?
Not good. Look at Robert Johansson and lee comeaux .much better
nice one!
How many wins do they have?
This announcer knows nothing about the golf swing and what is going on here.
You also have to understand tiger has 6 USGA TITLES I THINK 2 amateurs. Koepka??? Tiger killed it as an amateur so did all the other greats, KOEPKA?
Hater?
@@JT________________ know millenials need to pay respect where it's due. And I HATE nepotism.
koepka won 4 majors in 22 months. who cares what he did as an amateur
@@petemama5448 you make no sense 😂😂😂 what is your point? Koepka isnt good?
KOEPKA? Seems to be proving that success as an amateur doesn’t dictate success on the tour (I didn’t follow his amateur “career”, so I’m counting on your information to be valid).
내자세랑 비슷하군
Overrated
Lawrence MacDonald overrated and no1 in the world🤷♂️
