Thanks for watching like or Typo will scratch your sunnies! 😎
Hahaha my sunnies have scratch proof lenses
I spent way too much for my clip on sunnies. They were much less durable than my titanium frames. 😞
Typo looks very keen in Her's. 👍😎
Typo, mine are already scratched, do ya worst, LOL! Love ya vids, always fun.
I met a father who kept his calves inside an electric fence until they learned to avoid it. Then he just put white tape along his fences around his field and his cows avoided coming within a metre! Dunno if the sheep would care tho!
This is your channel, your [family's] animals/farm, in your own country, w/ your fences, & to tell you to, "check your attitude?!" Pssshhh, I want to say, THANK YOU, Tara, for showing all this stuff you do & deal w/, everyday!!! You're awesome!!! 🌺🦜🌵🌴🐢🦩🌸
Yup people need to stop, imagine the creator is physically in front of them and check if they'd still say what they've written
Agreed!
I was about to write this same post, so thank you Laura. What she said.
I think her attitude is just fine!
It seems like it’s a tough task to keep your mouth shut if people have nothing nice to say 😬
That’s what I’ve learnt from RUclips anyway 😂
Slug is looking so slugalucious this episode.
Slug is pleased by the amount of respect.
In a world where we are constantly pushed to worship fakeness I love how real you are ❤
You don't need to change anything. There's 198k people watching who like your attitude. ❤
I've been having a shit time lately and my youtube is filled with crime and murder and it was really fucking depressing me! Upon waking today there is your video and it made me happy! I love your attitude - feisty & funny! Typo is amazing! Stay safe! x
I’m glad to hear that my video made you happy but I think we need to have a chat about WHY your RUclips is only filled with crime and murder 👁️👄👁️
I love Typo's sunglasses
Don't you ever check that attitude. It's literally the best thing ever. Fire season however, is the absolute worst. So glad everyone stayed safe!
We have around 50 Dorper sheep and all they do is go through the fences no matter how many times we try and fix the fence, they find another gap to go through. Keep up the good work Tara and Slug!❤
I have dorpers, only way to educate them is 3x hot wire to start, now 2 keep mine in check, was funny watching them get zapped until they learnt that I'm boss!!! 😂😂
@@allanwilliams6487 We have hot wires and sheep mesh but they still don't care. I have about have it with those sheep I am ready to get rid of them!!
Might need to dial it up, they can be a pain, I guess I got lucky, maybe a smaller paddock with more wires to educate although mine were young when I got them so easily educated , might need a 2mtr cyclone fence 🤔 if not, at least you have alot of great eating lamb👍
@@allanwilliams6487 Thanks, they are supposed to be lane way sheep and eat out the grass in the lane way as we are cattle farmers, but if all else fails we will be needing a couple more freezers!😂
@bellasmyth28 or or or...
What would make a really good video for RUclips, a 40 lamb spit all lined up, world's biggest lamb spit, maybe 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and I'll come be the taste tester....along with half of the people here, better invite slug too 😂😂😂
Spicy Tara is showing through a bit here 😂
The trip to the cold north looks like it's been well timed.
Hope all's been well at the farm with all the heat we're still getting.
Enjoy the break, though I'm sure the Slug will miss ya.
Thank you, I’m sure everything is going smoothly. Typo’s overseeing all goes well 😂
It's nice to hear a familiar tone/accent on RUclips.
I’m a rare breed 😂
@@TaraFarmsyeah you are 😂❤
Hahahaha I imagine the sheep 🐑 yelling back at you in the same accent haha “we just came from there - f@&$” hahahahah 😂
I lived with a shearer at wagga in the 90s. Dad bought me back a sheep from Harden in the early 80's He saw the sign in the drought lambs for a dollar. He was a coach captain then so him and a few passengers decided they would bring some cute cuddly little lambs back to the big city.. hence I woke up with a huge sheep in my wollongong backyard munching on my mums rhubarb... so that was her name from then on. I soon tamed Rhubarb with bread and honey (i had no clue I was 12 lol) and soon after she would watch the cartoons on tv with me when mum took dad to work of a morning.. fun times .. so its great seeing how it all works.
we have all seen in movies the runs, the paddocks, shearing and the huge aussie sheep and cattle properties. We all know of ivermectin now. but the rest no one has a clue about really and no way to access that knowledge.. you are an amazing refreshing view of a different reality than most know.. I love how you show how bad aussie sun is .. espec with fair skin..I love how you show the family business and lifestyle
I love how you keep your femininity amongst the mainly male dominated famiing. shearing. I love how you are honest. I love how you swear like us aussie women do... I really enjoy your videos .. thank you for all you do and all you are
It is that time once again for a new adventure from down under :-) I stay up just to see the new adventures from Slug and Tara :-) Have a wonderful week my friend.
The video will still be here in the morning!
I know :-) Just fun to be one of the few 100 people seeing it together. @@TaraFarms
Could watch Typo ignoring you and jumping fences in sun glasses all day lol
First 4 minutes is exactly what its like getting Americans to use a roundabout
☠️
Muaahaahaa! I'm American, and it's so true! 🤣 There's a fairly new one where I live. I spend half the time standing on my brakes because some ding-dong came to a complete stop at the yield sign when no one else was even on the bloody thing.
Poor Slug having to deal with the consequences of their actions... Woe be thy name, the silly lil bugger
I have this conversation with her every time we use the trough and she consistently fails to listen.
Gawd girl you make me smile every time I watch your videos. You are doing a smashing job. 😅😅
The Slug is doing really good. She is the best :-)
Good morning my lovelies from Tennessee, hope you and slugo have a wonderful day and evening. And to the rest of the people out there good morning too you all as well.
I just got my SLUG CUP... Love it!!!❤❤❤
Thank you.
Nice pictures on the packaging material.
Excellent! I’m glad it arrived safe and now you can moisten yourself efficiently.
I'm new to your channel. Love the realistic portrayal of what sheep ranching on a range is like. It's the scale of your ranch that is crazy to me. I used to run 200 had, and at one point, we had 500. My only request is a translation primer for your lingo.
Another fantastic vlog tara as usual keep up the good work
Thank you Pauly! Will do!
I’m so late😅😫 love the bird sounds. Love the Aussie birds so much. 15:27 I can feel the heat in this shot and I hate it.
It’s hard to demonstrate heat through a video but I’m glad I managed to! 😂
Positive Vibes on no dangerous fire
Hopefully you and your family are safe from fires. Back in 2020, I have a friend whose family ranch burned down during an awful fire in California. She had to leave her sheep behind while she and her husband were able to get out with their dog, but she was terrified for her animals. Luckily, the animals survived, but some suffered minor injuries.
Sorry to hear they lost their ranch, but it's good that everyone survived. It's very hard to make decisions in a fire. In Australia we have lots of ads and campaigns about making a plan, a back up plan and sticking with it during bushfire days. As well as people told to leave on Catastrophic days when they live in high risk locations.
There are homes here in thick bush with one way entry/exits, very dangerous. Also a lot of people seem to think they can stay and defend their homes from a bushfire with a garden hose.
If there is one thing I've come to conclude from these vlogs its that sheep will often go anywhere and everywhere they can Except the gate you want them to go into
man we're lucky here in the western US, our venomous snakes are polite enough to warn you when you get too close, would not like to play 'is that a snake' with something that can't rattle at you to give you a heads up and also where 'yes' can mean a Bad Fuckin' Time
and from one of god's tinderboxes to another, here's hoping fire season takes it easy on y'all down there
Sheep will always sheep.
That’s a good point about the snakes! I’ve never thought of it like that but very true!
Heyy!! I love your videos. Slug is defintlty my favourite. I hope that no bushfires hit your area and that you stay safe. My house is surronded by bush land and trees and we have been now told we have a bushfire risk house. ❤
It’s important to consider bushfire strategy when looking for houses in Australia. There’s places in the country with only one road in and out.
Yeah i live in NSW on a mountain and we have 2 ways out the main road and through someone else's road but the persons road is too dangerous to go down. My parents said if there is a fire we will stay but me and my brother would most likely leave before it gets too hectic. I pray everyday that that does'nt happen. @@TaraFarms
@@TaraFarms I lived in Melbourne for many years and can remember many bushfires, particularly "Black Saturday" in 2009. We moved to Nelson Bay, NSW in 2015 and bought a bushfire risk house. We're on a steep slope overlooking the Bay and the Pacific Ocean, and the vegetation higher on the ridge extends to a national park. Two bushfire risks there. We are close to the end of a peninsula with a single road in and out. But we have a plan B. There are thousands of boats in the area.
That ball of fire in the sky looked pretty intense that day. The gold and blue contrast was so beautiful it almost distracted me from the f-cking sheep.
You're amazing, Tara and Slug. Ignore stupid people saying anything.
Thanks for taking us along on your day’s activities! I can’t get over how well-trained Typo is to your voice and car honking commands. I love her shades!
I’m so looking forward to seeing you on Sandi’s channel … what a treat! I wonder how many beeps will be on the footage! 😂🤣😂
Totally different kind of sheep farm operations, on a much smaller scale. Hope you enjoy your visit and break from your farm … only sad Typo can’t come with!
🙌🙏❤️🇨🇦🐑
Thank you but she's not trained enough because she won't stay out of the footbath. 💀😂
I don't know how you know that? 👀
@@TaraFarms Sandi said she was expecting a special guest from Australia … it is only logical to assume it would be you. Then you all but confirmed it. Sandi’s praise of you is why I started watching your channel! It’s going to be so different regarding her sheep operations vs. your’s! Almost day and night but then again it’s inside and outside farming! Looking forward to your visit!
The only reason Typo went in there was to protect you because she knew it was bad! (If you believe that, I’ve got some land for you 🤪)! Seriously though, I hope she’s okay … she’s an awesome dog and you can see she loves you! 💕
With those glasses, Slug is 100% pure stylish.
Good morning Tara, I hope you are enjoying our warmer than normal weather this winter here in Canada. It's going to be 16C today 🌞 I hope you upload some of your adventures while you're traveling. Absolutely love your channel. Your commentary is hilarious and to the armchair quarterbacks telling Tara how to run her farm, why not go volunteer for a day.
Safe travels in Canada, 🤗🇨🇦🙏
Thank you, we're in Banff this week so it's a cool -5C. Not weather we have at home!
@@TaraFarms , as you're in one of the most beautiful spots in the province of Alberta, I don't need to say enjoy the gorgeous scenery, or to dress warmly in layers! I hope you have a fantastic time enjoying my western brothers' and sisters' hospitality. 🤗🇨🇦🙏
Tara is so lucky to have a great manager like Slug!
As a fellow Victorian….the heat was absolutely horrendous…do not recommend moving house in it
I live in Adelaide
That wouldn’t be a good time
Tara and Typo are an epic team. Love it ❤
Hi Tara. I’m a west Aussie and a Sandra Brock follower. Subscribed after seeing you on her channel. Two amazingly competent sheep farmers x
Every time she wishes in the video my working dog can hear it and starts barking lol
❤ "Typo, deal with em" ❤ I need a Typo in my life.
😂😂😂.. Hi huni from Belfast,, Tara i absolutely love how completely down to earth you are even your language is hilarious,,, . You say it how it is,, and i LOVE IT.. 😂😂❤❤
PSA EVERYONE: my slug mug has been delivered and I gotta say i am now as moistened as the Slug. 10/10 do recommend. Also it’s adorable - bonus :P buy her shit.
I love your attitude, your slug, & the knowledge that you freely share with us. I think that it's funny how some people want to tell you how to do your job from the comfort of their world. I guess that you must know what you're doing, or you wouldn't have so many sheep, to begin with.
Congrats on 200k!
OMG!!!! I'm so excited that you're coming to Canada, I hope that you have a wonderful time and welcome to our neck of the woods ;)
YES!!! ppl need to check their brain cells lmao they need to check themselves, before they wreck themselves!
Man, we have a small farm in a very dry area in NZ, and fire season is scary af.
We had a fire about 5km from us in jan/feb, and shit it was scary fast and just... scary.
Hope your high risk day/s went by with no fires!
Doing fine so far! The worst is grass fires because they move QUICK.
Hi Tara, we have had a few hot days and its good practice to bring the sheep and lambs closer to home. Some Victoria rural areas have already had fires which have been devastating. A good idea to be preperaed with designated fire/water truck plus an extra 6000 litres to fight a small fire and a plough on the tractor to break up the ground in front on the fire. Poor Typo, she still hasn't learnt that sheep dip stings on her paws, it will take time. I hope the farm is safe from fires. Chris from Bendigo Victoria.
Yeah!!! NEW video.
My daughter thinks you ought to get Slug some nice wellies or hiking boots for when she’s near the foot bath again. Can you imagine those paired with the sunnies AND her winter coat?😂
8:07 - 1. THANK YOU for the VERY interesting knowledge on sheep losing their wool but also.....2. 20x better with little Slug just running around behind the ut being and adorable derp around 8:40 that was bloody fantastic and adorable
Slug is such a style icon ❤
Put her in fashion week!
@@TaraFarms Nah that would be beneath her. She'd just think she was slumming it.....
Good Morning Tara and Typo! 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐕😎
Must be a full-time job plugging holes in the fences. 😱. Those doggles on Slug are too cute. ❤️
In Wales, UK the sheep deliberately run at the fence until they break it. The 'pure' welsh breed are escape artists, they can jump a stock fence at will and frequently do. You can see them teaching their lambs to do the same. You have to admire them but at the same time hate them for the extra work they cause - ambivalent feelings 100% 😂. I want a Typo over here 😍
I love when you set people straight! The absolute arrogance of some is hilarious…& annoying. Good job, great vid 😂 ✌🏼
I'm new, i found you through Sandi, I love this! so real! so Aussie!
Sheep will always find the hole in the fence, and if there isn't one, they'll make one. Especially if it's a brand new fence and next to an open gate.
Slug needs a set of apple vision goggles that would make some awesome slugigde
We just found this channel and my 5yr old is already in love.
Your 5 yr old is going to have a spicey vocab.
@@timothyking8650she already hears it from me so it’s normal for her lol
Mother of the year 🙄
@@EC2019 I talk how I talk, I also teach her they r grown up words, they r going to hear them in the streets y hide them from and create pearl clutching Karen’s like u?
@@EC2019better the kid know them and be taught when its appropriate to use the language then learn it randomly and start spouting off
Stay safe out there! God Bless!
Your videos also highlight just how much dust there is. For Example you pit the pink cover on and it's spangly clean. About 4 hours later it;s a right mess. You would need one every 2 hours to keep clean.
Very true, that’s why I’m not overly fussed on washing it!
Loving it Tara
Enjoy your trip, be safe in your travels.
loving the weather
in Victoria there's a drought and in Queensland its like England.
Welcome to Canada, enjoy your visit. Where are you visiting.
Hey thank you! I’m currently in Banff, before I head East! 😊
@@TaraFarmshope you're enjoying your unseasonably warm and dry weather hope the mountains treat you well
I am so using the check your brain cells when someone tells me to check my attitude 😂
People think sheep are stupid, but they have amazing memories, especially to repeat actions that are the most aggravating and colourful language inspiring.
I was concerned for youse folks with those few catastrophic days up that bit of the state. We had leaves blowing down from the Beaufort fire in ballarat.
Internet of things, the best. And we hear about drones on landline for like, cows and stuff, but as a helper for sheep mustering, a+.
Enjoy the US!
Please don't ever change 🙏 love what you do and how you tell us what is going on 😅😂❤
Cool to learn about the fires. What's this I hear your coming to Canada? 🇨🇦 welcome! How you enjoy your visit! Where abouts are you visiting?
Love the magpies! Just wanted to say people who handspin really dislike wool with a break in it. I had a friend who put her coloured sheep in ' jackets' to keep burrs, etc off, and it was lovely to spin.
I imagine it would be a pain in the butt. My pet sheep's wool was a break near the bottom (I was trying to get them lighter for the shearer) so I've just been pulling it off the bottom of the staples before carding.
Just found out about you and your site. You’re amazing! And you swear about as much as I do! Cheers from Seattle!
I am new to your channel (I watch Sandi 🐑) and love your videos 😂❤
Found you on Sandi's channel and a new sub to you
"What the f*ck you doing down there?" That actually made me laugh aloud. 😂
I want a Typo show pony. I'd win every single time. LOL
What is in the soak that causes Slug’s feet to hurt?
The bath has Zinc sulphate heptahydrate in it and disinfectant. From my understanding it softens the foot, which is meant to soften the hard ‘toenail’ around the sheep’s foot so it can treat the footrot inside.
Oh my fucking god just received my mug today and we all love the little slug on the top of typos head
I appreciate your attitude ‼️ let those people who say "check your attitude". Come and do your job working everyday with little to no time off. See what their comments would sound like.
People who have never worked on any farm. Have no idea how stressful, time consuming all encompassing lifestyle. I have lived on 3 farms in different states in the US. Growing crops to cattle, goats & chickens. It is a total family endeavor.. I so enjoy the "colorful" language you have. I had similar language 😂😂😂
Thanks for the video! Always fun to see the sheep acting up a bit. Do you ever fully replace the wire fences? Those chemicals must be strong! Poor slug toes! I enjoyed your almost British pronunciation right at the beginning lol. Hope everything’s well after that fire risk! Keep up the good work and see you next Wednesday!
Thank you for watching, yes we do. It's about having the time to do it. We are slowly getting around to replacing them all. The Zinc sulphate heptahydrate isn't too bad the dogs usually get over it after they've worn it back off their feet through wondering around or after they walk in a puddle.
Absolutely LOVE your attitude, be wild and free. 🙂🙃🙂
Sheep going through the fence is called a duck and weave! 😅
love
Real Aussie girl and real Aussie farming. ❤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Have fun in canada! It's a great country. 🍁
I check your attitude every time you upload. Seems fine.
Poor sore typo toes need a good rub 😂 silly dog!
Slug needs a snow day in the mountains
Love your honesty! Btw, I think it's your sunglasses that need a wipe. I know, one more f*!"!$g thing to do. 😂 and I hate repairing friggin fence!

You’ve done better than me! I’m over on the other side of the world now and spelt right through it 😂
WOW! You replied to me! Thank you little one!
I love your attitude you say like it is 😂😂
Slug-o's gogles are the shit. Ooh Caanada
Poor slug just wanted to moisten in the foot dredging troth 😂
The giant ball of fire in the sky looks especially intense in this video.
I love your attitude. Ignore that haters.
Hrrm. Wonder how long it'd take my little tractor to make 2 passes around a property like yours with my disk tiller. That's the most common firebreak here. . . Your property is so much bigger than anything I've worked on.
Was wondering how the sheep react to the drone, answered that. :)
Tara? I'm here for the attitude. I prefer people being authentic to themselves. I'm autistic, and pretty damn sick of having to mask for other people's comfort. So mostly I don't. I'm much happier not masking.
It wouldn’t take too long I think the camera makes the camera look bigger than they are. Our bigger paddock are around the 60ha mark.
Hope it doesn't come to that, but you look like you're ready! May the winds blow away from your area!
Give a farmer wire, bailing twine and zip ties and they can fix anything 😂
It always cracks me up when Tara drops a, "That's what she said" comment... 😂😂😂 r/t hole joke.
Hi Tara I just found your channel after you were on Sandi’s channel. What did you want Slug to stay out of that would make her feet hurt ?
Hey, welcome. She walked in the foot bath. It has zinc sulphate heptahydrate in it to treat footrot.
dont you ever change
