The university reported a total enrollment of 30,923 students across 36 different engineering disciplines during the 2020-21 academic year. Of these, 1,892 students had been admitted to three autonomous institutions. Notably, 27,000 students from 128 engineering colleges were eligible for the final-year examinations, out of which 14,319 students passed. This pass percentage (53.03%) is lower than last year’s 55.6%.

KEAM ൽ ഏറ്റവും Top വരുന്ന കുട്ടികൾ , ഏറ്റവും intelligent and hard working ആയ കുട്ടികൾ, ആണ് അവിടെ ചേരുന്നത്. എന്നിട്ടും എന്തുകൊണ്ട് കുറച്ചു കുട്ടികൾ തോറ്റു ? സ്ഥലവാസി എന്ന നിലയിൽ എനിക്കറിയാവുന്ന ഒരു കാര്യം CET ക്ക് 2 Km ചുറ്റിലും ഒരുപാട് Pvt tution centre കൾ ഉണ്ട് Engg students ന് വേണ്ടി. CET ൽ പഠിക്കുന്ന ഭൂരിഭാഗം കുട്ടികളും Pvt tution ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു. ഇത്രയും മിടുക്കരായ കുട്ടികൾക്ക് tution വേണമെന്ന അവസ്ഥയാണെങ്കിൽ ആ സ്ഥാപനത്തിലെ അധ്യാപന നിലവാരം അത്രമേൽ നല്ലതാണെന്ന അഭിപ്രായം എനിക്കില്ല.

ഞാൻ 48 വയസുള്ള ഒരു software architect ആണ് (ഒരു പഴയ Btech കാരൻ - CSE ). ഇപ്പോൾ മകന് വേണ്ടി Btech admission നോക്കുന്നു . KTU ഒക്കെ ഇപ്പോഴും അറുപഴഞ്ചൻ syllabus ആണ് follow ചെയ്യുന്നത് . കാലത്തിന് അനുസരിച്ചു മാറണം . പഠിച്ചു ഇറങ്ങുന്നത് industry യുമായി ഒരു ബന്ധവുമില്ല . ഒരാളെ fresher ആയി hire ചെയ്താൽ അവരെ ഒന്ന് train ചെയ്തെടുക്കാൻ കമ്പനികൾ നന്നായി പാട് പെടുന്നുണ്ട് . ജാമ്പവാന്റെ കാലത്തെ കാര്യങ്ങൾ പഠിപ്പിക്കാതെ ആവശ്യമുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയാൽ കുട്ടികൾക്ക് തനിയെ പഠനത്തിൽ ഒരു താല്പര്യം വരും . വിജയശതമാനവും തന്നെ ഉയരും

കെ ടി യു നേരെചൊവ്വേ revaluation റിസൾട്ട് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചാൽ ഒരുപക്ഷെ വിജയശതമാനം 60 ഒക്കെ എത്തിയേക്കും. പലപ്പോഴും(99%) അവർ supply പരീക്ഷകൾ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ട് മാത്രമേ revaluation result പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കൂ. ഈ ഒരു സ്ഥിതിവിശേഷം വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ ശാരീരികമായും മാനസികമായും സാമ്പത്തികമായും വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ തളർത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. പിന്നെ വേറെ ഒരു കാര്യം എന്താ എന്ന് വെച് കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ പലപ്പോഴും വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെ മാനസിക അവസ്ഥ അറിയുന്നതിൽ കെ ടി യു പലപ്പോഴും പരാജയപ്പെടാറുണ്ട്. revaluation റിസൾട്ട് ജൂൺ 8 തൊട്ട് പബ്ലിഷ് ചെയ്യും എന്നായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ ഇതുവരെ ഒരു semesternite റിസൾട്ട് പോലും പബ്ലിഷ് ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. ഞാൻ ഒരിക്കലും മാർക്ക് കൂടുതൽ വാരി കോരി ഇട്ടുതരണമെന്ന് ഞാൻ പറയില്ല. പക്ഷെ, അർഹതപ്പെട്ട മാർക്ക് അവർ ഇട്ടുതന്നെ പറ്റുള്ളൂ.

Problems faced by ktu students
1. Normally 1 sem is 6 months but we only get 3 months for one sem
2.valuation is not liberal inorder to get the correct mark we want to go to revaluation which cost 600+
3.in ktu normally revaluation result come after supply exam
So the students will loss supply exam fee (200+) and revaluation fee also

കേരളത്തിൽ ഉള്ള കോളേജിൽ നിന്ന് ഡിപ്ലോമ, B tech distinction മാർക്കിൽ നേടിയവർക്ക് പോലും കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ സയൻസ്, സിവിൽ ഒഴിച്ചു നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിൽ പ്രൈവറ്റ് കമ്പനിയിൽ പോലും കഴിഞ്ഞ 10 വർഷം ആയി ജോലി കിട്ടുന്നില്ല. ഇവിടെ നല്ല പ്രൈവറ്റ് industry വരണം. കൊടിപിടിച്ചാൽ ഒരു കമ്പനി പോലും കേരളത്തിൽ വരില്ല

Another thing is in 2020 think about engineering seats all together and how many students were able to write the final semester exam, may be 75K is the intake and wrote final exam 27K and out of 27K get this 50% pass percentage?
