Granola : this is similar
6 cups quick oats
6 cups rolled oats
1.5 cups almond
3 cups coconut
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
3 tsp Himalayan salt
2 cups mini chocolate chips
Mix together. Then in another bowl:
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup maple syrup
1 cup avacado oil (or substitute it)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp butter extract
Then pour this over dry mixture and mix it thoroughly. Divide into two pans lined with parchment paper. Bake at 300 for around an hour. You can stir once halfway through if you want to.
Then remove from oven and let cool completely. I always freeze about half of it until I’m ready for it. It makes a large batch.

Heidi’s Homemade Bread:
Makes five 8x4 inch loaves
1 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
3 Tbsp. Active Dry yeast
1/2 cup instant potato flakes
1/2 cup oil (I use avocado oil)
4 cups warm water
Combine in mixer bowl and let set for 10 minutes until the
yeast blooms.
Then add in
11 cups bread flour
and let mixer run for 8 minutes.
Place dough in a large greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a
warm oven with the light turned on, for 1 hour or until
double in size.
Divide dough into 5 loaves, then shape until surface
is nice and tight, and place in greased loaf pan.
Prick through with a fork a few times to break
largest air pockets to ensure a nice crumb.
Cover and let rise again until loaves are full and
about one inch over the top of the pan.
Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or golden.
Remove loaves carefully to cooling racks, and brush
tops with butter.
Once slightly cool, place in bread bags and loosely
close the ends to keep bread nice and moist.
When cooled completely, close ends with twisties,
and freeze extra loaves and pull out and slice as
needed.
Keeps in the freezer for at least two months.

You have to remember that not everyone homeschools so they may not be there or they may not be interested in helping. Don’t always assume they are refusing to let them help. Remember we don’t see every second of their lives

Linen sheets and duvet covers are fabulous. However if you don’t tend to iron them they look quite messy. Although over time the linen softens to the most beautiful finish and will need ironing much less. The green dress looks beautiful on you.

I feel your discomfort with all of the heat right now in Florida, but, quite possibly, that is coming many places this summer. My parents and in-laws lived in Florida, and my husband and I lived for 8 years in Phoenix Arizona. Wow! That was too much heat for me.

I know i worked 2 jobs and went to school when until my son 4, and then some. But my home was generally clean ! Now i dont have kids in the house and of course we have a small space , but only having one leg, i have to get the hubby to help ! But i guess so stressed if things are laying around, or the dishes stack up from the day !
I love love love my linen sheets ! They do wrinkle ,if you take them out of the dryer while they are damp and put them on your bed they don’t wrinkle as bad . I really don’t mind the wrinkles .
