I am beyond disappointed in myself. My favorite band is Tool, been dying to see them live and in the middle of their most recent tour I found they were opening with Elder! A band I have been a fan of for years since randomly coming across dead roots stirring and also one of my favorites. They passed by my home city just a few weeks before I realized. Major bummer
Elder is now among my favorite newly discovered bands! Been diving in as much as I can, for the past two months and now I find out y'all are touring with TOOL one of my favorite bands of all time!?! That is so awesome hopefully you all being there live will bring in more Elder fans
Thats why I'm here. Never heard of them before but I saw they are going to be Touring with tool so i figured id give em a listen before i see them live. After listening to this they've gained a new fan for sure!
that guitar at the beginning (first couple of minutes) I've heard from another song before... wish i knew wtf it was at the top of my head but its extremely similar!
That's probably because some guitar riffs sound similar because they're the same chords. What makes them different is the time signatures and the chord progressions.
