Dans got such a smooth sound coming from that bass! Especially in Sleeps on a Vine
I swear this band is truly remarkable! Perfect instrumentation and vocals. They make this session look effortless, almost gliding through the songs, flowing from soft melodic rock to metal and progressive rock without losing a note. The band deserve to be famous simply for being so damn good. Thank you guys for doing the sessions and putting them out on RUclips.
You hit it right. None of the individual instrumentals are particularly challenging, but it's a "less is more" approach. They seemlessly flow through the transitions and build an incredible vibe. The engineer on these sessions deserves some major kudos as well. So damn good.

@@patrickmullowney They're not technically flashy but they're more challenging than they look. The songs are generally long with many different sections involving lots of pedal configurations and synch effects etc. These guys make it look easy but it wouldn't take much to lose focus and make mistakes. The songwriting is as good as it gets and I haven't seen many live bands as tight as these guys.
I'm like a deer in headlights when this comes on... everything stops and I'm just there floating in the music. Amazing.
King Buffalo is a grade A band through and through.
My favorite musical discovery of 2022. I haven't been this excited by a band since I discovered Soundgarden back in the 90s.

Not only a phenomenal song but band band as well. The drummer is rocking a All Them Witches shirt, currently my two favorite bands.
This is one of those few bands I came across in life that left me awestruck, WOW,just the sort of stuff I love.
Three bands that take me on a journey. Pink Floyd, Tool and now these guys!

Wow ! Wish I would have heard of these guys several years ago. I’m just now getting into their material and I’m really impressed. They project an innovative, smooth and sophisticated sound unlike anyone I’d heard in a long time. Edgy and Far out !

Take the best influences from the late 60's and early 70's and you have KING BUFFALO, made for some incredibly intense, extraordinary music... praise the Lord!

First got into this band in February/March 2020 during the beginnings of the COVID pandemic. It will forever have this apocalyptic feeling to me whenever I listen to this band, but I love it.
I just discovered them a few weeks back, so that feeling may be totally independent of the pandemic, I think. :D
Still, it's a cool vibe nonetheless.

I only discovered these guys a month ago thanks to release radar on Spotify. Have had them on repeat for the last month and can't get enough. All members are masters of their craft and the whole outfit is so tight. Keep it up guys, there's big things coming no doubt. Thankyou for the music.

A few months back I somehow heard Dead Star.. Eta Carinae was something. Now I'm all in. LTBTM may be my fav but there is nothing even mediocre with these guys. Space or Hard. Love it all.

theres a hint of a few greats in their songs, kerosene hints of u2-bullit the blue sky, and i've heard jimi hendrix, and david gilmore also in other songs. It draws me in and hearing how the band weaves the greats into their songs makes me keep all of King Buffalo's music on replay.
