Very true I have found working in a comfortable environment with people you know well really helps the creative process cause you can feel not judge and experiment. Most of the time I like to work by myself cause I can spend as much time doing what I want

I recall havin some doubt about cost after hearing so many say “you don’t need to get expensive gear.”
But one thing I knew I wanted to be comfortable in a plushy but simple set up.
With so much to catch up on and learn I had no time for buying latency problems or cheap shit or a bunch of extra gear to learn.
I ended up getting Logic Heritage pack, Mac studio, commander V2, sound treated room, diffusion plus absorption, Adam A7V, a talk box, a few other things and I LOVE BEING IN THAT ROOM ! Feels like the Starship Enterprise of weed FUNK in that peace baby!
I get so lost in the cosmos melodies and harmonies come floating by like butterflies landing on me .

Btw I took delivery of the Apollo twin X and initial testing is impressive!!! Can definitely hear that it is a step up from my original mk1. Thanks so much for recommending. What’s your favourite preamp plug-in to use with it? Am liking the Manley vox box and century so far. All the best🙏🏾

I've been thinking about getting the TF 51...I currently have the Slate ML-1 which serves me pretty well...I mean, Demi Lovato just recorded Sorry Not Sorry (huge hit) on it...haha but what would be your mic suggestion similar to 251 in the TF51 budget or cheaper? thanks
I did a mic shootout with the TF51 on my channel. I love that mic! It was my favorite tied with the Lauten Audio Atlantis

@@reallygreatloops yes I agree. Although I preferred the Atlantis in a shootout I saw, because the Eden does have a lot of saturation and I like a clean sound. I would need to test it out myself to really see though
Do you teach mixing?
Not at the time. Between creating and spending time with family, I barely have time for me, lol.. Hopefully that will come in 2024.
