The rams needed a lot in the draft. Defense fell their way. They took advantage. I feel.good about it. GO RAMS
I'm glad the Rams tried to trade up to draft Bowers, but failed. I say the Rams were lucky because the picks made by the Raiders and Falcons made the Rams stronger and deeper with their draft selections. Jared Verse, Brendan Fiske, Joshua Karty will be starting. Blake Corum will play a lot and Jordan Whittington is a special teams ace. The Rams missed out on a kick returner though.
They weren't though, Snead said Verse was their guy. They were thinking of trading up to get him, but everyone kept drafting offense. So they waited.
Boston Scott will most likely be our new kick returner
The Rams loading up on defense in the draft is what completed their team for the superbowl run!
Loved last year’s draft and love this year’s. Snead and McVay addressed most of our needs and happy it was defensive heavy draft for us. Can’t wait to see them at camp and go Rams!!!!

You don’t let higbee go but you definitely give Davis Allen the majority of the reps along with Parkinson’s. Higbee won’t be back anytime soon.

@travisrodgers finally making sense! I agree, they are a better team because of the way the draft worked out. Apparently, Snead and McVay had their eye on Verse and Fiske, if they weren’t able to move up, so it wasn’t a case of picking the best player available at 19. It worked out that the player they wanted fell to them, and then they aggressively went after Fiske. That’s why they were trying to get Verse to the draft house. They knew they were gonna get Fiske, and the plan was to have Verse make the call to him. Unfortunately, verse didn’t get there in time, as I’m sure you’ve all seen, but he got there right after McVay congratulated him. Special moment, that I hope will be the beginning of a special player tandem!

TRAVIS FOR THE THOUSANDTH TIME, defense DOES MOVE THE NEEDLE. It’s so dumb that you think that, Bowers move wouldn’t make us a better team especially when they went after a TE in Free Agency and have Higbee as well.
I believe they made a perfect draft this yr. Gave up too much to move up, but shame on the panthers for being greedy. If that kid turns out to be a Monster itvwill be well worthless it.

Edge: Verse statistically was worse than Brennan Jackson, and was not an ascending results player. Verse was #24 while BJ was #20. I can't emphasize enough that Rams busted on the Verse pick and Fiske pick, not to mention selected 2 quitters...🤷♂️

Verse was .67 sacks per game, BJ was .69 sacks per game.
Loving what the Rams did in the draft. Wouldn't change it at all. Rams needed edge and they got that in Verse. Let's Go Rams!

Don't get me wrong I like Brock but TE Will from Seattle gets a chance to show his talent now. I like how the Rams drafted this year I think we should draft a big WR that can take the top off the defense in the later round to complement Cupp and Nuka

Trading down for Bowers would have been a mamouth mistake. Davis Allen and Parkinson combined will be more productive this year than Bowers will be in 2024. I gave the Rams draft an A. Without Verse and Fiske it would have been a B-
