I love the color, very unique. She is a little bit unfinished at the back. She needs a luggage rack or a sissy bar to finish her off. Beautiful machine and Zeus is adorable.
I agree it definitely seems like something is missing in the back, we may have to get a small sissy bar and passenger seat or something along those lines!
Hey!, Thank you for the video... I was hoping to install these bag and spool kit on a 2023 Sport Chief.. But I have pillion foot pegs and sissy bar on already. Do you know if this would just extend on bold on to sissy bar and the footpegs for the cross bar attachment?
Apologies for the late reply, I’m not 100% sure but I imagine it’d just need a tad bit longer bolts for the spools and pegs mounting locations. Hopefully be getting passenger pegs, seat, and sissy bar in the near future so I can verify this as I’ve been asked it a few times.
You probably could but the bags are really close to the mufflers on the exhaust side I’d be a little concerned with burning the bags. Also if I remember right the way the spool mounts work they’re more of just a placeholder that hooks onto the spools & doesn’t really fasten/secure them in place.
@@WreckedRevivalthanks so much for the reply! Totally valid points. Shame that’s the case because in this setup they’re way more hard mounted than they are quick release. Never seen quick release requiring bolts be undone inside the bag and an extra bracket be undone. Would love to see a proper quick release pair of bags.
I believe they might interfere but I'm not 100% sure. I imagine they've got some kind of work around for it if so but I'll go check that out and let you know!
@@WreckedRevivalthey absolutely do you have to buy saddle bags with an integrated peg or maybe an aftermarket part would work. But they both go in the exact same two holes.
@@anthonypape6862 appreciate you confirming that, I've been crazy busy in the shop and haven't had time to look into some of these inquires. Good to know though! I've been considering making my own brackets off of that location for some 'custom' passenger pegs as I imagine the off the shelf Indian parts are pricey!
Great set up.
Thank you dude!. The weather is perfect, I have the exaxt same bike, and the dealer said they are 2 weeks out to install.

Curious if you could run the bags without the bottom support bracket and how they’d go just on the fender bolts.

I'm just curious. does the bracket for the bottom of the saddle bag interfere with the predrilled holes for the rear pegs?
