This vinegar trick isn't new to me, it's something my parents had us do way back when. The trick is to not drink it everyday. Regular water first thing in the morning helps more than you know. It definitely helps the twosies out in the morning, and walking around. Three times a week I do the vinegar trick, but at lunch time.
This might be TMI, but I would be interested to know which stage of the menstrual cycle this experiment took part in because I feel like this pays a huge role in bloating, craving and feeling of fullness overall.
So here is my opinion abt this… Disclaimer: this is only supposed to share my experience. A time ago I found abt this method and after a massive research I decided to give it a try. I followed it clearly but somehow it didn’t turn out as expected. If it was supposed to reduce cravings, I was craving things all day and mostly sugar and carbs… If it was supposed to make me feel fuller for longer I was looking for snacks every now and then and due to that I was feeling more bloated than before… as it didn’t work I thought abt having the vinegar buuut in a salad before the meal, did it work? Spoiler: NO 😂 So as it didn’t make anything better I decided to move on and give up on this… Now I have discovered that for me is just more than enough having a big glass of temperature or warm water first thing in the morning. Plus it is shown that it improves digestion and metabolism! Nevertheless if I where someone who wants to try the method I’ll give it a try… it didn’t work for me but it could work for others… however I don’t find this exact vinegar method something sustainable to do as a routine for your whole life. Not only does it harm your teeth but also could harm your overall health if consuming in big amounts!! Hope this helps if someone has experienced something similar, and remember that all humans and bodies are different so just bc a science proved method doesn’t work for you, it does not mean you are broken or something 😂❤ hugs from Spain (sorry if my English sounds a bit weird)
i may not have done as much extensive research as you on acv although i did give this a try once and never again lol. it worked too well for me perhaps? as soon as i gulp a quarter of a glass i ran to the bathroom for a bowel movement. it came as soon as the liquid hit my stomach. prior to that i probably haven't had a bowel movement for a few days yet. i have found that the thing that makes me feel the best is warm/hot water as soon as i wake up too (no matter the weather, yes even in the hot summer days). it just makes my body feel so good.

I personally read her book and she recommendeds diluting it in foods or drinks, perhaps in a tea or salad. Also, my friend tried her hacks and 4 days in, she got her period back after a year of not having it. Based on that, I’d say she’s actually quite educational and helpful. Of course, not everything she recommends with work for every person, but generally, I think these are great habits to include in your daily life
Directly having apple cider vinegar water ruined my lips and made them crackling dry, even the area around the lips. Same thing also happens with Plumping lip gloss for me so maybe my lips are sensitive but be careful and only have it with straw if possible

My concern is that I have acid reflux problems, but I think I remember in chemistry that you can dilute acids with weak acids (or maybe it was dilute strong acids with weak acids). I been drinking acv morning daily for the last few months. My acne is still ongoing since the last few months, I still do get bloated on days, didn’t feel fuller and still have cravings in the day. So I guess it doesn’t work for everyone. Just sharing!
I’ve been having acv for 2 weeks now. It definitely suppresses hunger but bloating was not completely cured. For me, if i eat a large portion size meal, i immediately got bloated irrespective of drinking acv. So small portions work great with bloating.
This might sound crazy, but just drinking the apple cider straight taste better than putting it in water. It tastes a bit extreme at first but once you get used to it, it's not so bad.

Hey, I've heard that chewing a gum with Xylitol helps to protect the enamel, so after drinking something acidic you should chew a gum or a mint that has this kind of (sugar) in it. It has something to do with the acid from the vinegar stripping the inside of your mouth from calcium I think, so to even that out, it draws it from your teeths's enamel, which causes your teeth to get fragile. Does that makes sense? Haha

Do you think the constipation was from whatever stressful thing happened? I have IBS and find stress is my main trigger. Having broccoli would have backfired for me since it takes the body days to digest it.

I would do ACV with caution. I used to drink ACV in the mornings for months and didn’t feel any different when I stopped lol. But I also realised it wasn’t good for my stomach, probably too acidic, which is why I stopped. I recently also had to stop taking one of my supplements because it was causing me heartburn and acid reflux in the mornings and I realised it has AVC in the ingredients.
I’m hypoglycemic, so paying attention to glucose helps me a lot. I just can’t bring myself to drink any sort of vinegar. I love making pickled cucumber and tomato salads, but a straight up vinegar drink… no thank you
Yeah! It's something I tried when I was younger... Hated it... The trend resurfaced, tried it again, and hated it again. It's just not for me... I like I'm carrying a vomit in my throat all day... then tried different things to get rid of that taste which ended up beating the whole point. I did try her other advice of starting meals with veggies and it works great. So it's part of my meal for over a year now.

The most important thing about taking ACV for its health benefits is that you need a really good quality one THAT HAS THE MOTHER. Not all ACV are made equal, and of it’s not advertised as having the mother, or you don’t see any sediment at the bottom of the bottle- it’s not going to do shit for you. Braggs is the best quality brand imo, as I clearly feel a difference in my energy and de bloating efforts vs taking other brands of ACV. But ultimately, gut health is everything- so eating other fermented foods (that don’t have a bunch of sugar) are going to be good for you too- I personally just found that ACV was the most effective, most fast acting, and provided the most wide range of health benefits- and all you need to do is drink some with water. Forever one of my fave holistic health supplements 🙏🙏🙏
Hi I agree with what you said but I heard that Braggs acv isn’t as good as it was in the past because the brand was handed over to a different company and they now dilute their acv. I recently bought acv from Fairchilds since they don’t dilute their acv and it has a lot more benefits than diluted acv. Just putting it out there :) you might not get maximized benefits from acv that is diluted by the company

A lot of people recommend not to use the Bragg's product. Recently they lost their reputation of being the best in the market as they diluted their ACV in water.

It caused teeth corrosion for me :( the backs of my front teeth have brown spots on them now due to the acidity of drinking ACD water

i always take a shot of ACV (a capful mixed with water) before breakfast and I find that it 'wakes up' my gut and bowels haha
