Man…I remember when I first found this channel. Talon reviewed and convinced me to get a wallet from Trayvax. I still carry it today. Great call on the Westscott preload collar lift, did that on the TRD Pro 4runner & it made the factory ride quality even better while giving me space for a bit bigger tires!

Nice to see the full diode dynamics lineup. I have their SS6 Fogs in Amber. I sadly didn't install their SS18 in the TRD Pro grille, given that I heard some concerns about grilles cracking. Keep us in the loop regarding longevity of the grille with this!

That truck is sick man. I love the new tundras. I've had the destination mt 2's on my taco for a few years now, just stock size. Been really happy with them overall. My only critique is lateral traction in soft mud. Forward/reverse traction is great but they do understeer just a touch for me. Its not extreme but I do find myself slowing down more than I normally would for corners. Other than that minor thing they've been great. They're about done now for treadwear and haven't had any balance, uneven wear, noise, chunking or weird issues with them. They see a lot of gravel and highway throughout the year including a lot of remote camp spots in the mountains. I'm looking forward to your thoughts on them and how they stack up against other tires you've run. Toyo are a tough tire to compete with in this market segment.

I would have gone with the TOYO R/T, YOKHAMA MT G003, or BFG K03. Definitely curious to see how the Firestone will perform.

Truck is looking good!!! I have a 22 TRD PRO and was thinking about the alpha Rex headlights, but I’ve heard mixed reviews on if they’re brighter than the factory leds or not. Are they?
Did you Mod anything on the inside? swap out that drab gray headliner for black? remove chromed dash trim, etc? Sick build so far and look forward to upcoming mods.

The truck looks great. It is surprising how little it takes to really improve the looks and capabilities of a truck these days.
It may just be my OCD playing tricks on me, or the angle the truck was sitting, but that SEI tag on the drivers door looks crooked 🧐
to match your orange accents should have got orange amber light bar on the front grill under the TOYOTA lettering.

I just bought the same lift kit. I'm debating whether to run the front spacer that goes on the top of the spring assembly. Did you run with or without the front upper spacer?

Lucid is the best in Colorado! All of the other work was done by the guys at Tru automotive. Highly recommend them as well. Linked in the description.

Please don't plastic bumpers. Stubby front bumper with rated recovery points and orange D-rings (winch comaptible) with side wings for better approach angle and the rear metal bumper for better departure angle, rated tow ponts, swingouts with places to mount spare, trash bag, traction boards, orange D rings etc.

Did you have to recalibrate the Toyota safety sense tech/camera after moving the camera on the new grill?
Nope, the sensor stays in the same location which is the important part.
@@TalonSei Cool. My Toyota dealer said if I move the camera (with the new grill) I need to do a $400 recalibration which seemed nuts to me. So you are not getting error codes from the front camera or weird angles?
Has your truck required sensor (TSS) recalibration after the lift? Concerned of running into issues! Thanks!

Exactly what I show in this video. You should have red axles already so you just need the Westcott kit and suspension shown.

at this point isn't your cost getting higher than an actual cost to get TRD PRO? i know this probably still have more done but couldn't you have done these same upgrade on top of TRDPRO but might not have needed that much mod? Just curious. I've been wishing a TRDPRO but can't see my self paying those kind of money, had SR5 2011 and have always wanted to go higher model. Your truck looks SICK tho.
Not even close. A Pro starts at $12,000 more than my truck and that’s if you somehow get it at MSRP. Everything on this truck is pretty budget friendly.

Opposite of that. You need red not silver.
Red or the silver that come with the TRD 3” lift…not the normal silver.
When you delete factory safety features do they hold that against you on inspections

In RI we have to get an inspection sticker every two years and I brought my truck in and the dealer snapped a pic of my aftermarket taillights and locked the inspection until I put the oem on with a picture to unlock. When it was done I put them right back on so I was wondering if tampering with safety systems they would hold me against it. I had to re buy oem tail lights to pass inspection because I threw them out

The tundra looks so good once it has some tasteful mods done. Firestone is definitely picking up their social media presence lately. Interested to hear your thoughts. I wasn’t a fan of them on our Jeep.

Have you looked at Renegade bed covers? I think I am leaning that way over diamondback for fit and finish.
Nope. I need something with security and the highest load ratings possible. I don’t think any other cover will replace the diamondback for what I need.
