    This post really opens your eyes to the often-overlooked impact of high-carb diets on vitamin B1 deficiency, and it’s fascinating to see just how deeply sugar and refined carbs can deplete our B1 levels. It explains how seemingly unrelated symptoms-fatigue, sleep issues, even Restless Leg Syndrome-could actually stem from something as simple as lacking vitamin B1. I had no idea about the differences between synthetic and natural B1, or that magnesium is essential to make it work! Thanks for sharing such valuable information on this hidden but important health topic!

      Pounding in his ear,
      I think he’s just referring to how when he (and I) eat a lot of carbs and junk food, if you are a side sleeper you may notice the ear touching the pillow will hear the heartbeat amplified, like it’s pumping harder and louder due to all the junk food, it’s almost like the body is under attack trying to digest all the junk and the heart beats heavier and sounds louder .

I do eat pork more often. But I also get B1 from numerous sources, like eggs, okra, green peas, walnuts, corn, peanuts, beans. I doubt I get 100% RDA every day, but I'd say I do better than most people.

    I’m your loyal supporter and see you as a true saviour of humanity, unlike those bookish doctors who blindly follow the world’s 1% elite who create pharmaceutical formulas, blending them with human biology in a way that sounds scientific enough to convince the public while claiming to save lives. Of course, there are times when we genuinely need doctors, surgeons, and supportive medications for those with specific conditions.
    I personally had diabetes and extremely high cholesterol. My doctor tried to convince me to take medication, but I was able to completely cure myself without any pills. To me, it feels inhumane; the doctor might either be naïve or perhaps just focused on the financial aspect rather than genuinely caring about my health. I’m specifically highlighting doctors in Malaysia, i’m not sure other countries.

    Experiment. TRY THIS. Buy a McDonald’s hamburger, store it somewhere for six months then unwrap it. I have done this experiment myself. You will find the hamburger looks exactly the same after six months, doesn’t attract ants!, doesn’t smell funny. etc. This is not food! If the ants don’t want this, “food” neither should you!

    This is very timely. I fell off keto when I stopped doing OMAD for a time. I was doing a lot of carbs until I felt beaten up on the inside, but before that I was doing a lot of keto and OMAD without snacking, of course, and I so far have experienced less bloating/gas during the time I included these sugars and carbs into my routine. I was eating things like Sprouts Farmers Market bite sized Cookies, so ingredients mattered, basically just these were what I had been binging on. No over the counter cheap industrial sugars, candies and the like.
    Thank you, always.

      Omad is difficult, I feel like a long lasting option is to eat within a 6 to 8 hour window. And still extremely beneficial.

    • @mekman4
      @mekman4 3 месяца назад

      @@denisemaples6519 OMAD absolutely works, this isn’t my first rodeo, I fell off because of this channel’s suggestion of breakfast. It’s the quality of the food that matters. I’m never leaving a 16-23 hour window of fasting. My body has always hated dinner, since I was little. I simply obey it.

    • @mekman4
      @mekman4 3 месяца назад

      @@denisemaples6519 my comment disappeared. So I must have said something out of line, so I apologize. While OMAD can be difficult, I’m wary of misinformation online. I am not interested in attempts to convince me that something that has worked for me and others suddenly does not work. Corporations have been subtle and mendacious and that’s how we all got into this mess with insulin resistance in the first place.
      If one is doing breakfast, one is not on OMAD, and the act of eating spikes insulin to begin with. That being said, I would continue to champion a 16-23 hour intermittent fasting schedule because the benefits outweigh any con, if any. I got into sweets because I fell in love with peanut butter again.

    It’s surprising to learn that sugar harms us not only through diabetes but also by depleting energy and possibly contributing to conditions like Alzheimer’s. This article also reminds us that the ketogenic diet not only aids weight loss but helps the body overcome energy deficiencies caused by sugar. It’s definitely a reason to rethink my high-carb diet!

    We consume decent amount of sugar, fruits, honey, cane, coconut sugar, here but we also eat animal fat to burn the sugar off. My blood sugar usually stay around 60-80 all day. If I eat pasta or pizza I make sure it has lots of butter or beef/pork fat.
