      @edurevelfood Since replying to your comment, I've read that the Airbus A320 has an auto position for the strobes if the pilot chooses. It will use the weight sensors in the main landing gear to determine what flight mode the aircraft is in for activation.

    WOWOWOWOWOW!!!! I finally finished watching The Towering inferno and now, I'm watching your latest video. love watching the dusk sky there.
    One of these days, you're going to need to drive on US Hwy 97 from Omak up to the US-Canadian border. You have the very eastern edge of the north cascades meeting the very western edge of the northern Rockies, how different each side looks. It'll BLOW YOUR MIND!!
    Anyhow, if you ever find yourself in a 100 plus floor building that's on fire, be sure to follow all instructions given by the rescuers. Don't do what those 2 ladies did on the rooftop where they ended up causing that rescue chopper to crash and explode into flames. Sheesh! They were lucky they weren't killed from that explosion. And poor Jennifer Jones. That was her very last movie, her final performance, her last act, and to have her fall to her death like that from 65 floors up.
    And hopefully, Paul Newman and Steve McQueen will be there to figure out how to solve the massive problem and get you out of that towering inferno. Considering that Steve McQueen probably still had PTSD from his encounter with The Blob a decade and a half earlier, I was impressed by how well he did his job.
    Anyhow, another fine, Super-Fantabulous video on your part, or as Treebeard would say: a fine hit.

    It's Tuesday, August 20, 2024, and how-bout that Super Blue Moon last night and tonight? I can't help but wonder if anyone's getting a look at it while flying tonight? I may be totally blind, but it fascinates me so much. I remember hearing the crew of the Apollo 11 moon landing and on their way back to Earth and how one of them read from the Book of Genesis. I got so choked up hearing that and wondered how it felt for them to be so close to the Heavens and reading that.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  3 месяца назад +1

      Northing special my friend. Just all the regular 4K 60fps settings on the iPhone. The key is getting the camera focused and keeping it focused. If you lose the focus on a night flight, it's very difficult to get the camera to focus again. Which is why on night flights I never show the interior cabin or service again after the beginning of the video. I don't want to lose the good focus and picture I have already haha.

      @@abdullah_awan36 well the longer the flight, the better they actually perform. But, often times the domestic flights you see on here now, are simply the flights I had to take to get to what I was actually trying to film on that trip. So, I don't generally go seeking out specific domestic routes anymore unless they're super unique or interesting. That route would likely perform pretty well at that length, but considering I live in the Midwest and don't want to have to connect through Seattle just to fly to Baltimore, I'm struggling to see how that would fit in any time soon haha. But I can always keep it in mind.

      Yes, but let's be honest, there really isn't much of cruise on a flight his short haha. Is monthly contribution on your Patreon is taxable where they take out 15.3% of FICA tax of your monthly contribution after the payout and rest them of the fund must file tax return to IRS? Out of all A320’s, including the NEO family. Which one of these 2 are your favorite engines?
    For the A320neo Family, I like the CFM International LEAP, it has a distinct growl, safe rating and is louder than the PW1000G which I like.
    For the A320ceo Family, I like the CFM 56, It always my favorite A320 engine of all time, it has a quieter roar than the V2500, looks better, sounds better and has a good engine sound than the V2500 In my opinion.

    What’s your favorite airport that you’ve visited so far?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  3 месяца назад

      Definitely Singapore's Changi Airport. Not even close, as it's on a whole different level than any other airport in the world.

  • @jackscartoonchannel758
    @jackscartoonchannel758 3 месяца назад

    I know you’re close to there and everything, but I like Oklahoma City much much better.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  3 месяца назад +1

      Yeah, there are three airports around me that are in this weird geographic position that means I rarely ever use them. OKC, LIT, and STL. They're all roughly 5 hours away which makes them too far to drive too, but they're also so close that flying to them doesn't really make sense. Now STL does actually have flights to it from MCI and TUL, so I do occasionally use it as a connection point, but LIT and OKC do not have that. So I can't really use them as connection points, and flying to them would mean basically just adding an extra stop on a trip for no reason. So I don't know that either will ever be featured on the channel 😂.

    • @jackscartoonchannel758

    What is the point of filming outside of the plane for hours,and nothing inside 😂?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  3 месяца назад

      Well there's actually quite a few reasons, but here are some of the biggest reasons. First, nothing inside the plane changes throughout the flight. So there really is no point to show it all again after showing it at the beginning of the flight. Second, it's against all airlines contracts of carriage to film crew members without their consent, or passengers at all. And since I run my channel in the good graces of the airlines, I would prefer to not tick them off by constantly breaking the rules I agree to when I buy a ticket. Third, outside the plane is what my aviation channel is based around. And it has been for nearly a decade. Yes, it's a niche type of content, but I have 120,000 subscribers and get 1.1-5 million hours of watch time every month. So that is what my primary audience wants to see. And last, I'll group a lot of things together. There are a lot of reasons why people want to watch content like this, some of which I'd bet you would never consider if I didn't tell you them. People watch my videos of hours looking out an aircraft window because they love travel and flying, but can't anymore because they're too old, have health conditions, or simply can't afford to do it themselves. They watch because they love aviation and they just love having it on in the background while they work. They watch because they're terrified of flying but they have to fly soon for cancer treatment, a family funeral, a wedding, graduation, etc. And by watching my videos, where the entire flight is shown from star to finish, they can expose themselves to what they're terrified of form the safety of their own home to help prepare them for their upcoming trip. I get tons of comments every day from people tanking me for helping them step on a plane for the first time in 20 years. Watching my videos allows them to basically see the exact flight they have to take and it helps them understand on recognize that that noise, or that thing they saw is actually a normal part of the flight and they don't have to be fearful. People watch because it's almost ASMR for them. People watch for the white noise/background noise. It helps them relax and destress. People watch because they work from home and they can have it on in the background as they work or study. They're able to put one of my full flights on and it's something for them to glance at occasionally without having to use a ton of brain power. There are literally hundreds of reasons way people watch and enjoy these long, unedited, flights. So I always tell people. If it's not for you, that's fine. That's the beautiful thing about RUclips. It allows niche type content to be enjoyed by those who enjoy it when otherwise there wouldn't really be an outlet for it. And it's that you hear in this situation then that's 100% fine and I won't try to force you to enjoy it or watch it haha. But there are a lot of reasons why people do enjoy it. Thanks for watching my friend!
