To listen when she sings without tracks, flawless. Every note is in perfect pitch, so hard to do. She was and will remain to be THE best singer of all time

THE finest female voice of the late 20th century. -----------I knew it then--------sadly, too many of us refused to see it back then. But I didn't care----------I KNEW THAT VOICE ! -----------------------WolfSky9, 74 y/o, & a fan from the fall of '69.

Thank you for this beautiful tribute to Karen Carpenter💐💐💛💛!! She was popular both before I was born and after I was born. She passed away when I was just a Kid😪🖤🌹. Karen Carpenter had such a beautiful voice💐💐, she was an outstanding drummer too🥁💐💐, she was a good dancer💐💐, she collected Teddy Bears🧸🧸, she collected Mickey Mouse plush toys, and Karen Carpenter had a really good sense of humor😃😃 as much as she had a good heart💛💛💛💛💛. I so wish I could have met her when I was a Child 😪. And I really LOVE the song, "Sometimes" because it says how important it is to not take loved ones and friends for granted, but I hope that Karen Carpenter knows in Heaven how many people like myself, feel an appreciation for her💛💛💛💛💛.

Dick Clark used to have a radio show called "Rock, Roll and Remember," and he had a great interview with the Carpenters,..I wish someone had access to it so that you could include some of their dialogue in your compilations.

I fell in love with Karen and Richard when when they hit the charts she was just perfect and so beautiful singing playing her drums, I always felt so sorry for her mother getting the blame for what happened, she was so happy when they started, it was when they took away her drums put her out front and the press called her fat made fun of her clothes picked poor Karen even made fun of her hair remember back then was the time of twiggy God I still dislike that skinny girl just my opinion RIP SWEET ANGEL

You need to read LITTLE GIRL BLUE by Randy Schmidt. Her mother always favored Richard. Karen was NEVER loved the way she should have been and needed to be by her mother.
