im somewhat confused on why the cav didnt focus the rams harder, he was never going to prune the archer ball with that amount of cav, the TC proxy would force them back.
Drongo, The hair style of Mongols are probably not bald(well, if they are middle age men then probably yesXD) It’s a common hairstyle for northern and northeastern China nomadic tribes. They shave off the top of the hair to make sure their helmets sit on top of their head. The Japanese samurai has a similar hairstyle of shaving the top of their head for the same reason.
Chuck Maurice is a reference to Chuck Norris
also the longer you age up, the longer your opponent thinks you are chilling, then suddenly you age up. this is if they aren't watching your moves

why did the Abbasid delete their mining camp at 2:40?
Mongols have a raiding mechanic that makes them gain resources when they attack enemy buildings, if Chuck deletes the building then it can't be attacked and Moo won't get resources

I grew up on the OG C&C , have played AoE 2, I was looking for a RTS just to have some fun here and there and was about to buy AoE4 and came across your videos.
Are things still balanced after release? The game gets patched? Will there be just 1 Xpac or do they do multiple? How old is the game?

I grew up playing Warcraft 3, Starcraft 1 & 2, all Age of Empires (including Mythology), and the Total War series. AoE4 is one of my favorite games.
It's very balanced with most civs floating around a 50% winrate on all civ matchups / maps, it gets regular patches (and is getting its largest DLC in Nov), and the game has been out since 2021.
It definitely has an active community and receives frequent updates
this wouldn't be an issue if rams could attack packed buildings. and hopefully after this new trend, they will be able to. tower rushing and tc rushing is getting real old, even if its answered.
Love the commentary. It bugs me to see mongols used for tower rushes and TC rushes. It’s like watching Protoss cannon rush or Terran planetary fortress proxy every game.
I always thought mongol v aba was tough for mongol. Seeing as i was a mongol main for a while
I’m no conq 3 but getting towered or bbcan rush never an issue for me as abba. Easy to build a ram and spam cheap units. English tower rush and maa on hideout is a different story though. That cheese is hard to beat
For me as a mongol main aba is top 3 harder civ to beat he just doesnt stop spamming units.
