I struggled against intermediate A.I but I played France. Thought their cav was top tier. Surprisingly their cav got wracked by cheap enemy units 😂👌 Second game was England and that went really well.
Japan is so much fun :) Just FYI, you can see who is killing someone by the color of the "Enemy destroyed User69420's landmark" prompt that comes up. Really helps getting a feel for what's going on on the other side of these huge maps
@Turin, DarkHunterEzra here. Was the ottoman player this game. Had a pretty chill game here. For some reason the first 20 mins I had unrestricted cross map trade. Then everything changed when the fire nation (you) tried to take my hill resources and I couldn’t let that go since u could treb into my base. The OOTD and other Japanese took that opportunity to take away my cross map trade during the rally against u. I also forgot to get my blacksmith upgrades in the first fight since I was booming so hard XD. The wonder hold at the end was extremely haggard as I had spent so much resources on fighting u and northern.
I respect your use of Edo period tactics. It is known that the Japanese historically improved inferior gaijin technologies through the art of folding them. Paper? Origami. Swords? Katanas. Raw fish? Sushi. This is the secret to Japanese superiority.
As a fellow Japan enjoyer, I pray to Ookami Den that your folds be made with Edo-era precision, whether ye fold paper, fermented fish in vinegared rice, or cold genki steel. Domo arigatou, daijobu. *bows*
What a fun game. Live thr haggard Shinobi. I think their biggest weakness is that they are so micro intesive. Thry need to be baby sat to get their value. But still hilarious fun

Don't get discouraged if ya suck in the beginning I still do but don't get lost in the learning curve.

Watching this makes me want to get back into aoe4. I played a bit on release but they’ve added so much since then and the game looks less cheesy.
It’s great, I never play 1v1s but ffa and 2v2v2v2 are sooo fun.
There's a lot to offer now. The worst cheese is gone, there's still some major power disparities between some civs, but nothing totally broken imo
