Salt Lake City International Airport opens Concourse A-east

During an early morning ceremony on May 16, 2023, a 45’ wide by 14’ tall curtain opened to unveil half of The New SLC's Concourse A-east and the first five operating gates. For more info on The New SLC, go to slcairport.com/thenewslc.

so, that phase 3 east section looks WAY ahead of schedule. the graphic says not all those gates will open in oct. 2024 -- are we sure about that?

It would be nice if the central tunnel was opening sooner. Imagine having a connection from the east side of concourse A all the way round to East side of B or vice versa!
