If any of the guys who helped put this flooring in ever are scrolling through the comments on this video, I literally started googling how these floors came to be after walking through this airport staring at the ground. They are beautiful. Great work

Can you do a video on the damage at the SLC International an d what damage happened in the new and old areas? It's okay if it is a longer video. Plus if you can give us some feed back on what new procedures will take place in the new part of the airport vs the old part of the airport that was damaged from the 5.7 quake and what new things about the earthquake and what people should expect about safety at the new airport? I would love it if you could talk about how you will help PWD People With Disabilities in the event that there is another big quake like this or bigger and how you will help keep Disabled people safe?

Adam Guymon I’m sure the new SLC is in pretty good shape, at least the first concourse. It’s designed to be able to withstand bigger earthquakes (I think at least 7) than the current one.

Adam, thank you for your feedback. We were fortunate that the existing airport experienced only a water main pipe break, which has since been repaired. The construction project did not sustain damage. The New SLC Airport is being built to withstand a major seismic event, therefore, it will be safe for passengers with and without disabilities.
