Hi. Its a Sd.Kfz 11 my friend. The dodgy wartime symbol has been deleted from all the Revell kits as it is a German company and it is illegal to display it in Germany for obvious reasons. Even at model shows in Germany modellers have to put a cover over the symbol on their models. Unfortunately you can't change history. Good video.
Thanks for your comments, I have had a few issues of posting accurately depicted models on line and they have been removed so I too have to block out certain symbols when posting certain models. But that’s the rules if I want to play the game.
thank you for uploading, really love the box art, even the original Afrika Korps insignia had been censored (as other companies also did). However, the fragile box looks like to be in nearly mint condition, congratulations!
Thanks, yes the whole kit is mint and sealed but I will be building it purely for the nostalgia and enjoyment. Airfix and Matchbox kits from the 1970s did not have any symbols censored and appeared to be historical. Only later did this box art censorship become a thing.
@@creativetimewasting you are right, as I collected all the 1/32 Matchbox air planes, e.g. the early Bf109-E had the original insignia, it was a great model kit, especially, compared to the contemporary competitors. The Matchbox kits at least I owned had some hm singularities for sure, but, they had so much charme! I remember building the 1:32 Spitfire, the gaps wings to fuselage were so big I had to cut out plastic stripes to fill them before doing the filling, but looking back, it was a pleasure to build and the final result was very satisfying. Looking forward for more Matchbox stuff ☺
Thanks for the vids, loved everything matchbox, I made all of the models planes, ships and especially military vehicles except the T34 I think it came in white and blue and I didn't like the colour, I still have the 1/72 Revelle ex Matchbox corvette in my attic awaiting my time, it's been there at least 30 years......some day soon
Nice video of a great kit! 👍🏻 You opened a mid 90s Revell reproduced kit that was made years after Lesneys end. Revell owned the rights and still owns most of the matchbox tooling. What you don’t seem to know is that the shown motorcycle pose is a copy of a famous german WWII propaganda photo from Africa Korps.
Something extra nostalgic about these multi colour Matchbox kits.....
Thanks for sharing! Keep up the great work mate!!

Thanks for the review, this is one Matchbox kit I haven't had, looking forward to the build.
I’ve got a few other builds underway before this one will make an appearance but hopefully shouldn’t be too long 👍

Dig out the corvette, I’ve built two over the years and they are great straight out of the box 👍
@@creativetimewasting its on my soon to do list

Great knowledge and thanks for sharing. Stay tuned for a build video of that is of interest to you. 👍
Sorry, but it's Sdkfz 11 . Thank you for sharing us.
Thanks, it’s been pointed out several times.
This kit must have been manufactured in 1993 or later.
Only then were the 5-digit postal codes introduced in Germany...
Good knowledge, thanks 👍
I got it 1980...
@@michaellanger9091They were made for quite a few years. This particular one was obviously manufactured 1993 or later.
Sdkfz Eleven.
Yes, it’s quite easy to make a mistake when talking off the cuff.
