I think the reason people are so harsh is because there is glimmers of something salvagable being there, the devs are just too focused on mass producing the game for profit over giving it any time for true quality. Like they have to be earning money off these games- hiring a few game animators wouldn’t be too hard at this point. Overall tho from what remains of a plot tho it seems the devs have given up on the game being taken seriously and are doubling down on the meme route

I spent the last three days on vacation around Portugal, and it was absolutely bizarre to see Garten of Banban bootleg plushies in every tourist trap store in every city i visited. Thats when i knew, like it or not, these guys made it.
If they're really bootleg ones at least the devs don't get any money from those. But it's honestly terrifying that garbage like this can get popular enought to create knock-off merch.

Garten of BanBan is so influential that when Pyro mentioned the fact that they were skipping five, I genuinely spent the next 7-10 minutes wondering why he didn’t mention the fact that they also skipped three. They did not skip three, and my watch history even proves that I watched Pyro play it, and yet I could not have told you this.

Doubt it, the Garten of Banban characters have polygon counts in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions.
The drone's remote controller alone has more polygons than the entirity of Super Mario 64.
Anything that doesn't look like it's made of play-doh probably is stolen or bought assets.
If that's not a testament to how shit they are at designing, I don't know what is.

@koshakvesely8186 From the looks of the polygon counts, probably 5 or maybe even 6. The polygons are so dense that even zoomed in a bit, it looks like solid black in a ton of places.
Each character model has polygons in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions.
REMEMBER: THEY DON'T USE TEXTURES ON MOST OF THEM. WHENEVER YOU SEE NO LITERAL TEXTURE LIKE DIRT OR THE STITCHES ON THE TOAD ON THE CHARACTERS, THAT IS ONLY THE MODEL.
