I like the new logo. It looks timeless. Very simple, but also classic. Also, it's now in line with Australia's Hungry Jack's (Australian Burger King) logo.

Personally, It's a food brand. Needs simplicity yet creativity instead of typorgraphy. If they played with Fonts emerging into the menu BK has, that would be hella awesome!

Fun fact: The "new" logo is actually just an updated version of the logos that were used from 1969 to 1999.

its one of the oldest simple logos, debuting at the 1970s
The new logo is too old to exist
It's both old and new, they took an iconic logo and made a few tweaks to it. Subway also did the same.
