This year's top 10 list you put together is fantastic. I own a injection molded MSI and a blacked out Vision FG, that fight for my pocket on the daily. So I can understand the struggle in choosing your number one pick. Both are extraordinary examples of the modern pocket knife done to perfection. Can't wait to see what 2024 brings to the table.
Great list. I have personally picked up 5 of these over the past year and agree completely with your internal debate between the Vision FG and Stitch. When choosing for my day, I have the same debate but wind up with the Stitch in my pocket more than any other. The action and Ergos are amazing and its just so freaking cool!

My G10 Stitch is one of 5 knives I purchased in 2023 and it it by far my favorite in my collection! Although I haven’t built up the courage to cut with it yet because it’s also the most expensive knife I’ve ever purchased other than my XM-18.
The manual Stitch is on my shortlist. Bought my buddy the auto (Stitch) and it’s a sweet piece!

I got the Miguron Akri for Christmas and by far the best knife I own and a joy to play with!!! The one I got is the titanium scales and the sandblasted M390 blade!!!

I remember looking at the microtech msi and seeing the auto stitch and first thought was man I wish they had a manual stitch..saw that it came out and was like yes this will be my next big knife purchase… so can’t wait to get one in hand.

The vision fg looks amazing. I’d have to find ti scales for it right away though. I’m not a fan of the ultem at all ands have kind of swayed away from micarta lately. Kind of doing the monochromatic thing right now myself. Mostly milled ti in the collection with a small amount of carbon at this point.
if you don’t mind carbon fiber i say grab the knifecenter exclusive vision FG in s35vn 🤷♂️

I've bought dozens of knives this year and couldn't agree more. The Ram-Lok Stitch is the best. Microtech killed it this year!!
I agree, Stitch is my pick as well, I have the Aluminum scales with the apocalyptic blade and my goodness is it insane!

Interesting...I happen to have purchased 7 of these knives this year all of which I include on my favorites of the year. The stitch was number 3 for me and thats only because I picked up a Large Sebenza in Magnacut and the milled titanium AD20.5 in 20cv this year, otherwise it would have easily been my favorite. Carried it today !
Stitch is my personal favorite this year. Second for me would be the gen 3 ludt, it just suits my needs perfectly for an everyday user... especially with a partially serrated blade lol!

I want to get my hands on the We solid, to check it out. I bought a Cybernetic from them, and I cannot believe how nice it is for the price. I feel like with We's recent releases, they have finally caught up to Reate, as far as quality goes. If I was making my own list, the Cybernetic would be on the podium for sure.

I have a Veli coming my way in a couple weeks. Very excited! Did you ever handle the WE Ignio? It’s my pick for most impressive WE knife. The Solid is very cool, but the Ignio is cool AND a bit more accessible.
I’m going to give my honorable mention to the Tactile Maverick, it’s seems they’re ironing out the hiccups it had at launch. I adore mine. Contoured titanium, thin blade stock, excellent heat treat, USA made!

I know a lot of people don’t like that cicada but it really is beautifully done. We have a lot of cicadas where I live and I have a certain respect for them.
The MSI really shocked me. USA made for $170 and it’s HUGE. I didn’t think it would be that big but after carrying it for a couple months I love it! Such a great knife for the money

Ziffius and Sentinal Strike from WE/Civivi would be my top 2. My Vision FG makes my finger hurt after just a couple flips, so not a huge fan. Didn't buy many others this year. So that'd be the extent of my list. :D
I too have issues with it hurting my finger tip.
What's everyone thinking about the polymer MSI? Been wanting one. Currently g10 is out of stock in my area but ive been hearing good things about the polymer that it isn't flimsy.
Best 2023 purchase for me was the Arcade. I had regrets when first handling it but it's suddenly in my top rotations as well!

I have the Microtech MSI with the polymer handle. I couldn't find one with G10. I am hopeful for a set of titanium scales! I love the lock and love the blade shape.

Super surprised you haven’t checked it out yet given how much you love the 20.5!
I’m absolutely in love with my Ti Slicer Cub and Demko Knives managed to bring the price down a bit on these with the 20cv/Ti costing 250 compared to the 315 - 330~ of the very slightly bigger Ti/3v (or the 20cv variant) 20.5
I like the size significantly more as it comes right in line with classic faves of mine like the para 3, detent feels a bit stronger like there’s a stiffer coil spring in there and best of all it has reasonable blade stock for a knife of it’s size zero rather than the super thick stock of the 20.5.
Oh and the sharpening choil/plunge grind is done much better

The vision fg is probably the least regretted purchase of all time. I bought it very soon after discovering it which i NEVER do, but I have never felt a knife I like better.
As a man who has a long history of making fun of Microtech and Tony Marfione in the comments section of your channel, I agree with your top pick.
Even I can’t talk trash about Microtech anymore after they started releasing these RAM-lock models. Absolutely unexpected move from Tony and the crew over there.
Mad respect to them for releasing something that caters specifically to knife enthusiasts. They win this year in knives hands down.
I agree with a lot of your list and own a few but I would have to say Microtech and WE (civivi and sencut kind of included) kind of won the year! I would have probably thrown the padre or pulsar on the list too… kunwu kind of the china bang for buck value house deserved a spot lol

Would LOVE a 4.25 inch blade version of The Civivi Vision FG!!
The WE Nefaris is amazing. BUT WE made the decision to make it a Limited Edition for no reason at all. When they could have made it their new evergreen model. There are a few available but chances are that people won't be able to get the color they want. I truly hope WE make it a regular model in different colors than the Limited run since it should not have been a LE release in the first place.
