I got De Vlaamsche Pot (because you showed the sign) and then Da Vinci, but the two or three after that I couldn't get, even though I slowed it down. Your English is excellent, but for non-Belgians, its hard for us to understand exactly unless we can see it printed. We bought chocolate at The Chocolate Line and had the Flemish Beef Stew at De Vlaamsche Pot. Oh my was that delicious!!! Me and my Mrs used to go to Bruges twice a year. We can not go anymore because P&O ferries have stopped doing the trip. Absolutely gutted. We miss it so much.

Thank you! The canals in the city center are probably maximum 2 meters deep. The swans are at the Beguinage and the Donkey Gate (Ezelspoort) but I’ve only seen white swans. (Though in 2021 a black swan had found its way to Bruges and stayed for a bit.)

Yes, you can see the small white and red van in front of the station. You can easily walk to the center, but with luggage the shuttle might be useful. Enjoy!

Depends on what you are looking for. There are plenty of forests around and farms that have B&B’s. I would say everywhere is accessible by bus. Even the coast is an option as it’s only max 30mins away.

There are parks in Bruges, the larger ones will be found at the outskirts of the city. Keep the streets clear from dog "souvenirs". And keep dogs away from the Minnewater , where the swans are living. Convenient ? Dogs are beloved animals in Belgium, often they are considered part of the family. In general they arent allowed in shops that sell food. Have no experience with pets & apartments. Some will allow pets, some wont. keep the streets clear from dog "souvenirs".

Sorry but what a fail as a local, the belfry is not the highest tower. The highest is the Sint Salvators 115,5 meter
