Dean Radin, PhD, is Chief Scientist at the INSTITUTE OF NOETIC SCIENCES (IONS) and Volunteer Faculty in the Department of Psychology at Sonoma State University. Before joining the research staff at IONS in 2001, he held appointments at AT&T Bell Labs, Princeton University, University of Edinburgh, and SRI International. He is author or coauthor of over 200 technical and popular articles, a dozen book chapters, and three books including the award-winning The Conscious Universe (HarperOne, 1997), Entangled Minds (Simon & Schuster, 2006), and the 2014 Silver Nautilus Book Award winner, SUPERNORMAL (Random House, 2013).

Great video clip. I too follow my intuition and pay close attention to my dreams and find I know the answer or which way to turn next and not be able to rationalize how i know. It's a very numinous experience that i believe is common

I've had quite a few noetic dreams, esp. when I was younger. Some were so intricate and profound involving computations that were way beyond my normal abilities. I remember once, waking up and still remembering one of these dreams, so I went to my computer to test the solutions I'd envisioned, and they turned out to be correct.

For me intuition is different to "gut instinct". The former is the truth sent direct to your consciousness via spirit, your ancestors and the universe. The latter is more based on the fear driven ego survival response mechanism, designed to alert you to danger etc.
