Thank you so much for having me Raelan. It was so lovely to speak to you and share my journey. Your channel is a gift to so many! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank YOU, Rachel!!
Thank you for sharing your story Rachel, I found it so helpful. Please can you share roughly how long it took once you changed your approach to min-body healing it took to recover please?
Dear Rachel finally someone was talking about laughing and animals. Thank you both (also) for this.
Great interview! After 10 years, I’ve lost a lot of hope and fed up with the healing & self help world, all feels like they’re trying to sell me something. I’ve cut back on all the healing modalities and just doing things that are fun, and are personal for me like drawing, singing, dancing and concentrating on trauma therapy. I found a-lot of these healing therapies were very adult and felt like chores, I like your prescription of watching comedy or even things that are comforting! Sometimes you need to go back to basic, feels like I’m at the start again but at least I’ve learnt alot!
U got it! Everyone is trying to sell u something - u can heal on your own - with a free support group.
Eat super healthy, relax, do fun things, movement - slow deliberate stretches, Tai chi, breathing deeply from the diagram, be in the moment - know u are enough, over achieving is over-rated.
Raelan and Rachel, you ladies are gems! I am on my M.E./CFS recovery journey, but I just cannot imagine coaching other chronically ill people at this point.😞 I do coach chronically ill educators through the school system disability retirement process. That’s all I can handle right now. And humor! Yes, Rachel! I watch Shuler King comic shorts daily! I also feed the grackles at WalMart. Peace and love to all!🔆♥️🔆
Thank you very much for this interview. It has meant a lot to hear about the trauma of the disease itself. A few months ago I felt that I was developing post-traumatic stress disorder due to the terrible symptoms of the disease, which are continuous torture, as well as the medical visits, the tests, the bureaucracy to obtain disability, etc. It is really necessary to talk about it and know how to deal with and overcome it. After 3 years of devastating disease, thanks to this youtube channel I am beginning to find out how I got where I am and, most importantly, how I can get healed. I am infinitely grateful for this channel and all the people who share their experiences to help others. Thank you Raelan for this amazing work and this wonderful help.
She’s so great. Love her so much ❤
Thank you!
thank you, raelan
❤❤❤
Thanks Raelan. This was really useful for me to know I’m on the right track.
Glad to hear it, Rachel!
No one is doubting the realness and honesty. You doing the absolute best that you can Raelan. And yes everyone that starts in CFS bussiness should make a shtload of money because it is a profession that is rare even though millions of people suffer from it in one shape or form.
This journey to helping others once you have learnt something is the hero’s journey ( Joseph Campbell) you might find that interesting to see
I know the hero's journey, I never thought of it in that way; thank you! Can't wait until I can get to that place
Thank you ❤
Tapping works for me too and you can feel the effects immediately
Amazing, Lynn!
I crashed before I hired someone to help me with nutrition and had to delay it - but this is making me realize it was for a reason! I have to learn that I have to bring my stress level down!
Really interesting to watch. The childhood trauma resonated with me, I've had counselling for depression in the past. The therapist identified it all stemmed from a difficult childhood. Is that the link perhaps between ME/CFS? I need to explore this more, perhaps more healing is to be done. Thank you Rachel and Raelan.
Yes, definitely. Stress/trauma can lead to chronic illnesses. The ACE study is something to look at. Here are some other people you may want to look into who have good insight on trauma and the nervous system: Irene Lyon (has a RUclips channel), Peter Levine, Bessel Van Der Kolk, Laurence Heller, and Gabor Mate. Another thing to look at is Top Down vs Bottom Up therapy to find what is right for you (a combination of both would be best). Hope this helps 😊!
Glad this was helpful, Paul!
The appointments are energy sapping!
I had a massive crash after dental work too. Still not back to where I was. Really inspiring story.
Sorry to hear that, Suzanna 💛
Love her! Tips on dealing with anger?
I love to hear these recovery stories. But sometimes I miss questions about how it started more details about that and the symtoms, how it developed and when and how the recovery started, more chronological. It is easier to listen to.
My body got better in pregnancy which was stressful and even better for 9 years then relapsed...getting better again...so relate to chronic frustration and stress
❤❤❤
I’d like to see a part two 😮 only next time add a bottle of wine 🎉😂 she looks like a rite laugh! 😁👍
Haha I love it!
I ❤you ladies 🎉 you’ll are kindred spirits 😊
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you both! I also had three years of dental hell…. And watch an episode of Friends every day! 😂
Oh no!!
All in the Family would sometimes help me. I liked Friends too, but sometimes w/ depression, I couldn't help comparing their happy life, being together, healthy and being out and then there was my life. Sometimes w/ depression, comedies almost make it worse. I do find kitten, kid, some type of happy or silly short can help at times. Even if it's not a laugh, a smile is much better than not.
Rachel, you mentioned that you used Medical Medium at the beginning of your recovery. What parts of his program did you find helpful and do you still follow his recommendations?
Liver cleanses are fantastic!! Yes it's not the nicest experience but so worth it!! 😁
I wanted to give tips on buying healthy foods at a greatly reduced cost. I put it together while working with CFS at Instacart. I worked during the pandemic and didn't get sick and I figured out why. That's another story. There are no recent videos on diet so I'm certain if I want to post it on a video that's not related.
What is your percentage success rate for curing those that come to you with CFS please?
Think lot of us have eds or hsd which not sure what I have and most likely the same drs don't seam to no that much.highly perfectionist nervous system
❤❤❤
Is there any way I can speak to Rachel? I’m from the uk and trying hard to get better after years of CFS. It’s rough.
I'm sorry to hear that, Smiley. Rachel's website and Instagram info are listed in the video description and you can contact her through there 😊
@@RaelanAgle great ! I’m gonna listen to the interview in bed. Good work
@@dnydeltoro Did you have an success. I just checked now and she's not taking new clients at this time. The prices seemed out of my reach. I thought I might try one appt., but they come in packages.
Take it easy take it easy - don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy - u may lose & u may win but u will never be here again.... (What song is that from the 1970s?)
What is EFT?
Plus most with eds had have àspergers add
I have TMJ too (accident), it’s soooo annoying and can be really painful. I feel for her. ❤ (P.S. I never did that liver flush even though it was recommended! Sounded so disgusting and honestly, dangerous!!)
I suspect that was a smart call on the liver flush ;)
@@RaelanAgle 😂💜
Liver flush good or bad?
I tried a liver flush w/ tetoxifying herbs. The die off symptoms were overwhelming. I also tried a cheap one w/ lemon juice, garlic and olive oil. After a few days I couldn't drink it anymore and ended up gagging and throwing it up. Very painful to have that come up through the nose.
Where did u train and how much do u charge
You can check out all of Rachel's details on her website (listed in the video description.)
I think the answer to recovery starts at 27:00
I love these interview but almost every person I been seeing is someone advertising themselves, are there any ppl that don’t have some incentive to speak?
Doesn't the massage & sauna help u get out of your head?
My family was emotionally & psychologically abuse. I grew up afraid and abandoned - bullied at all my day jobs - drama class & the arts were the only place I felt safe. Then being politically correct became mandatory in improv comedy & it was no longer a safe place.
As someone who thought EFT was a joke sitting there tapping your face looking like an idiot lol I had couple consultations last year and was amazed to find out the science behind it and the reporgramming aspect to it but i must stress you need an expert to help you understand in my opnion. Its a fascinating tool
Amalgam removal doesn't make you feel worse at all. I wasted 2 years of my life keeping a broken tooth because it had amalgam and I couldn't find someone specialized in removing them. Then I got to à point where I was about to lose my tooth so I had to go do it anyways. The anxiety build up before doing that procedure sent me into a crash. The amalgam never did anything. I was so tense and so scared because I had all those stupid ideas about the procedure being toxic. It was all lies. I just traumatized myself for no reason lollll. It never made me worse. In fact after I ditched all these holistic ideas away I started feeling better. I realized that it is all emotional and all from anxiety!!! As much as the holistic medicine is trying to help all it is doing is making us worse.i wish I never knew what holistic was!!!
Totally agree, well said.
And me.
I completely agree. It was my biggest mistake. ♥️
Yup. 'Everything is toxic. Do THIS and you'll be better'! It's mostly bull.
I think once you are in this chronic fight/flight state the brain sees many things are dangerous and reacts to it with pain and other symptoms. That's what I have learned so far anyway.
Interesting. Unfortunately, after checking out website, its much too expensive. Also, often you hav'nt got the bandwidth for facebook groups, sessions of this , group calls of that, these comprehensive programmes seem to forget that when you're really overwhelmed you can barely brush your teeth. I've done a lot of eft over the years and , sadly , did not do it for me. My trauma, and constantly stressed out nervous system is the problem, so i agree with her on that. But meditation, breathwork, etc. They just do not work. Im kind of giving up really now, 40 years of it. Think i'm done. I would just like to edit this, and profoundly thank all the kind people who have responded to me. XX i think my new year resolution is to not to watch any more recovery stories by anyone who is ,essentially selling their courses.
40 years? I bet there has been some up and downs over that time, isn't that true?
What kept you going all those years?
@@djVania08 there have been some ups and downs. What kept me going was my passion to get my life back, and my will to survive. But i am now 64, and i've tried everything. And i mean EVERYTHING. And it has not worked. So, like i said. I am done.
@More Lime thanks so much

@More Lime yrah ive seen a lot of irene's free content. I really wanted to do one of her paid courses, and i saved up the money. But when it came to paying with my debit card, it turned out she only accepted credit cards. I was devastated, and i begged her team to show me some flexibility, but they completely refused to help. I offered a direct bank transfer. But no. It was blatant discriminatory policy. Like, you can buy my courses, but only if you are a middle class professional with a credit card. So not very impressed with her attitude, which is a shame because trauma is at the root of my problems i am sure. There is a lot of free content. I will have to do my best with that. Sorry for my long winded rant .
U had two guys on your channel who are in it for the money.
I bet she knows of Norman cousins
No one can work for free or bare minimum or they will stress out & get sick duh.
Just another typical person trying to rinse money from us
