Totally agreed with everything he is saying here. Last week I had a growth oriented PEM, followed by catching Covid again, and a week later (yesterday), a lot of stress with my building’s landlord. A day off to allow myself to chill and bring myself comfort; refusing to believe this is all a massive long term setback, and I’m back to all the right steps needed to do that in place (many are mentioned here). It’s temporary and that’s ok. I was supposed to start an online training this week (I did it before but it was a step to get back to work slowly). I’ll start two weeks later. No big deal, life isn’t over!!
Raelan it seems you were the catalyst to breaking your ancestral chain, you are truly a beacon of light ❤🎉❤ Now your lineage can thrive, ty for your values
This is the first time during all the years that my son has suffered from ME, that I now have no doubt he will recover. All you say, communicate make totally sens . Thank you. ML Siv
I think these are easier to get a grip on once u start to see some small improvement. I was like your Mother Raelan, I had given up on everything after 20 years of CFS, until I found your channel. Sleep well ( as best you can) , Eat well, Move more ( gently and build up very very slowly) and healthy Mindset ( including calming down your traumatised CNS) . I heard someone say , not abt CFS, but it fits: "Sleep well, Eat well, Move more and Love more" ( Love ourselves more right !! as well as our loved ones )
An excellent video, very special. Thank you both 🙏🏼🤗 Self care is so important. My therapist suggested that it might help if I saw it as avoiding self abuse by giving too much of myself. As I was also dealing with C-PTSD it put many things in context, especially the possible causes for total (including soul) exhaustion. It became apparent that self nurturing would be at the heart of any recovery of either condition. A lovely calm soothing and nurturing video packed with wholesome nutrients! ❤
Hi my name is Annette. I have been affected by M.E for more than 25 years. I have had immense support and acceptance by my husband. I was diagnosed in London but previously spent more than a year going through all sorts of exams and tests. I still struggle to focus and find it hard to take in all the details of your videos. I found you here about 3 weeks ago (yey) and love your content. I have tried so much and so many of your suggestions; would you be able to make a few short videos with essential and concise points please. I don't know where and how to start (again) to get better, physically and mentally. Thank you so much. I live in Europe.
Thank you. Needed that today. Losing momentum in my brain retaining even though it got me from bed bound to working part-time and living at 60-70%. Will rewatch this.
That is amazing, I have seen others also achieve a first spur of recovery through something like brain retraining, but they needed some other practice to get fully better. The latest interview with Suzy is a great example. First brain retraining worked, then mickel/ mind body therapy worked to fully heal. Wish you the best!!
Started with Dnrs and then Gupta. Both are very similar. Recently tried primal trust as I’m able to work part-time now. Just doesn't resonate with me that one tho.
I’ve been standing in my bare feet in the local park( grounding) it’s helps inflammation I’m not sure I its helping but I feel a little bit better, the first time my freind told me to try it and I don’t have a garden but at the bottom of our street there’s a few trees and grass,it was 1am and I almost had to crawl down there in my pj,s looking rough, half dead! I was barefoot ,hugging the tree praying to the tree to give me energy! The police went past me doubled back and asked. If I was ok ..O.M.G they must have thought I was mad I looked it !!..desparate for anything to help they nearly took me to the mental hospital!!!..I literally looked like a mad woman!😮 me to
I actually watched the video of you and Jason about brain training yesterday. It’s definitely on my mind and considering it. I have one big question/doubt though: what happens if brain training doesn’t work out the way you hope? Does that mean you didn’t do it “right”? I would never want to do that to myself, because that would add so much stress. It sounds difficult and also quite like a slippery slope to be so convinced of your recovery. Anybody any thoughts on this?
Hello, I have some videos about this exact question on my channel with my good friend Victoria. In the past I actually did a few brain retraining programs that didn't work for me and I thought ok that didn't work, but then I revisited brain retraining 7 years ago, fully healed and never looked back since then. I go into detail about your questions in the recent interviews I did on my channel with Victoria, its a lot to share via text! Enjoy and have a great weekend!!
for someone who has been vaxinjured for 1 year, tired and lacking on focus its hard to watch your videos because you go deep and they are long. I cant see them all , as a constructive idea it would be great to make the shortest possible video with all you have learned from all these people who have recovered. Im sure a lot of us would really love that.
I totally understand! Check out my video '75 ME/CFS Recovery Interviews Summarized.' Also, you can subscribe to my weekly newsletter for bullet point summaries of new recovery stories - what worked, what didn't, and the resources used. 🌟 Hope this helps!
Lol…. Yes, while in the brain retraining communities it became obvious the Type A driver personalities even some with people pleasing because getting better and achieving was people pleasing got better “come hell or high water they were going to do this thing!”. But, those with helper care taker type personality even if they were people pleasers had a different journey getting success with the brain retraining. Highs and lows due to circumstances in their life vs the hyper focus of a Type A driver to achieve it was dependent on their ability to set others aside and dedicate to self…. something completely contrary to their base personality. It was annoying to watch the driven succeed because well it was working for and being ehe child of and married to these Type A driven achieve and win and you must do do so at all cost was how as a care taker helper people pleaser that is how and why I got to this place. So, yes, while all this is true…. basically, change who you are remains the message. Who you are and how you are is the problem. Argh. Been told that all my life. Do this do that be this be that. Yes. Tried and tried and tried and jaded. Oh, I know it can work. If you are a type A… “achiever” driven, motivated by success…. this is your answer. You’ve come to the right place 👍 I am in complete and utter overwhelm mode. And the reality is nobody is going to get you out of this condition but you. All on you. All on you is how I got here! But all on you for others. But the bank is empty. Completely empty to now need this to be all on me to achieve. All those supported by me along the way are like ya…. all your fault you did this to yourself you have to figure it out we can’t support you and what you need to exist. Ok So basically what I learned was to stay far far far far away from Type A people lol. But here I am entertaining it in stereo 😂😂😂 The pressure you put on yourself trust me that pressure pushed out to others…. there are potentially the wounded walking in your midst that stepped up and tried to meet and match your own demands and expectations. For a Type A with an ounce of empathy will gain cognitive awareness and scale back a bit for a while because if the experience. A caretaker was already aware and empathetic at their core so it’s a different calibration. One is like oh I can break? People can break? The other is yes…. that is why I was helping and carrying and empathic to your needs yet you were not of mine the win the goal the achievement came first over me. I tried to make your win my win but it was my loss. Nothing more annoying that a type a crass with brain retraining recovery and a helper type with brain recovery fail. Once again, they win and you loose yet it was you that brought the brain testing to their scope and awareness. And they are like…. well if you were just as disciplined and dedicated and positive and motivated as me you would be well too…. so your so called illness is all in you, all your fault just like I thought 🙄 Brain retraining is an excellent tool in the box if you support your mind and body with all the other necessary ingredients and remove toxic people first. It’s the toxic people 😊😊😊

Hi I'm about to start his program, would you mind if I asked you some questions about it?
@@merrittwilson5801how have you found it?

Which brain retraining did you take? They seem to be really expensive.
Started with Dnrs and then Gupta. Both are very similar. Recently tried primal trust as I’m able to work part-time now. Just doesn't resonate with me that one tho.
Good points. How can I relax and calm my nervous system please? Meditation doesn't seem to help much. Thanks for the good videos.
Go Jason!
Thank you Ana, have a good weekend!
What was the training Jason referred to? It started with a B but I couldn’t catch it. Something like Bruner?? But I can’t find it on google. Thanks!
Thanks
Thanks so much, Graham! You are a great role model for showing gratitude and are inspiring me to do it more! I really appreciate it 💛

@@ICanThrive thank you for the quick answer, I’ll watch the video as I am very curious about this.
If it's not a hell yes it's a hell no is Abraham Hicks. Hi Jason and Raelyn
Is it recommended to do Brain Retraining with open or closed eyes?
Thank you ❤️
There are countless strategies in brain training, so it depends on how each exercise is supposed to be done. 💕
How much costs this mans help?

I was NEVER a type A personality. You keep saying most people with this are and thats not true. I have always lacked confidence though
